Stephanie is the voice of reason on The Bold and the Beautiful.
She warned Brooke about the threat Bridget posed to Ridge and her
marriage, luckily Brooke is observant and ever vigilant of her
daughter. Ridge is underestimating Bridget’s feelings towards him
and the impact he has on her and it is a recipe for disaster.
Apparently Bridget is going back to Copenhagen and leave the
situation between her and Ridge alone, I highly doubt she will
return to Denmark since her return would have been useless and
pointless.
Slowly but surely Deacon is finding his way back to the bottle.
Heather continues to spike his drink (now it’s his protein shake)
and it looks like he is about to fall off the wagon and begin
wreaking havoc once more. Massimo wants Jackie back, and his visit
to Jackie M. proves he loves her more than ever and desperately
wants her back. But, Is Jackie worth the trouble? She found comfort
in the arms of Deacon while Massimo was in a vegetative state, and
she was the cause of his stroke to begin with. Jackie is a weak
woman, lacking a backbone and the ability to stand up to any man and
defend herself. I see her as a defenseless little creature, fragile
and pathetic. I prefer her relationship with Massimo, her
relationship with Deacon is pure lust and nothing else.
It was great to see a family moment between the Marone Men: Nick
and Ridge welcoming Massimo back to the office, and the company
workers celebrating his return.
Thomas and Caitlin are moving closer and closer to each other,
their pairing as dance partners for the prom will probably end in
the dissolution of his relationship with Amber. Thomas and Amber
worked just fine, once you got over the age difference, and a Thomas
and Caitlin pairing will not work long-term, once Rick returns
Caitlin will leave Thomas and return to him. If she didn’t choose
Thomas once, there is no reason she should choose him the second
time.
A sales war is brewing between Forrester and Spectra. With
Spectra’s sales hitting the roof and Forrester’s sale decreasing by
the minute, Thorne is caught in the middle. Ridge asked him to go
back to Forrester and work together. Should Thorne return to
Forrester? I say no, he has single handedly proven himself worthy of
building a fashion powerhouse without Eric or Ridge’s help, going
back to Forrester will be taking a step back. Sally’s ad campaign
fueled Spectra’s sales, mainly to the use of Thorne’s name, now that
the ad has been removed it is uncertain if the sales will continue
to rise or if they will take a dive.
Random Observation: The show’s opening credits have been updated
and Justin Torkildsen’s (Rick) and Colleen Dion’s (Felicia) faces
have been removed. The addition of the actor’s name is a bit
confusing, since it is hard to read the character’s name at the same
time one read the actor’s name.
