Hope: I’m not sure what you expect me to say.

Flo: That you can give me a second chance to start over and be the cousin that I really want to be.

Hope: And you think you deserve that after what you did?

Flo: No.

Hope: I was told my baby died.

Flo: I know.

Hope: Yes. You did. You did know. You knew Beth was alive. You knew what that man did. And still you said nothing.

Flo: If I could go back and change that, I would. But I can’t. All I can do now is try to make it right with you.

Hope: All those months I lose with my daughter, you — you think you can make that right?

Flo: No, I-I can’t. I-I know I can’t make that right. But what I do know is that I don’t want to lose you. And I care about you so much. And I will do whatever it takes to prove that to you, and to prove to you that — that you can trust me again. Please, Hope.

B&B Best Lines, Friday, August 16, 2019

Flo: Mom, this is crazy — sneaking in like this?

Shauna: You said that you wanted to face Hope.

Flo: Yeah, but not by breaking and entering!

Shauna: Oh, honey, don’t be silly. The door was unlocked, and you heard the gardener. Hope and Beth went up to the main house, so they shouldn’t be long. In the meantime, I really want you to practice what you’re gonna say to Hope on me.

Flo: I don’t know what I’m gonna say to Hope, mom. I mean, there aren’t words to convey how sorry I feel.

Shauna: You have to try! Hope is a good person, and maybe she will just —

Flo: She’s gonna what, be able to look at me and tell me not to go to hell? Really?

Shauna: Baby, Hope would never do that.

Flo: Well, she should because I’ve been in, for these last few months, anyway, my own personal hell. I wouldn’t blame Hope and her family if they just erased me from their lives forever.

B&B Best Lines, Thursday, August 16, 2019

Zoe: You came back?

Xander: Yeah. Yeah. Last night.

Zoe: So, you — you — you know what’s happened?

Xander: Maya told me.

Zoe: I’ve never been so scared, Xander. Ridge is waiting for me now.

Xander: You’re not in prison. That’s…something.

Zoe: I’ve been so lost while you’ve been gone. I-I’ve never needed you more.

Xander: Yeah. It’s — it’s sad that you didn’t think so when I was trying to prevent everything that’s happening to you now.

Xander: So, where is Thomas now, anyway?

Zoe: Nobody knows.

Xander: Yeah, ’cause from what I heard, his son tipped Liam off?

Zoe: Something like that.

Xander: So, you — you never came clean?

Zoe: Xander —

Xander: You know, do you ever ask yourself why you reserve your loyalty for your father instead of people who’ve actually stood by you? I mean, Hope, the Forresters, me, we’ve all — you know what? It doesn’t — it doesn’t matter. I’ve honestly thought of a lot of devastating things to say, but… it just doesn’t matter anymore, so…let’s go. What? You said Ridge is waiting for you, right?

B&B Best Lines, Wednesday, August 14, 2019

Ridge: Yes, Buckingham. Dr. Reese Buckingham. Find him and arrest him. Yes, he’s in London. Thank you.

Zoe: Please have mercy on my father. I am begging you.

Brooke: The same way he showed mercy for my daughter and her innocent baby?

Zoe: He was desperate, okay? He had to pay those guys off, or they would have killed me!

Ridge: He kidnapped a baby, an innocent little child, and you helped him do it!

Shauna: I’m thinking we should call a lawyer.

Flo: No, mom, I’m not thinking about that right now.

Ridge: Well, you should be!

Shauna: Wait! Please. Flo has been racked with guilt, and she has wanted to tell Hope for months, but I begged her not to. I couldn’t watch her go to jail, and I still can’t. I mean, she’s my baby. If you’re gonna lock anybody up, please, please let it be me.

Brooke: Don’t worry, Shauna. You’re all gonna suffer the consequences for what you’ve done. But, right now, all I can think about is my granddaughter and the fact that she’s alive. We have to tell Hope.

B&B Best Lines, Tuesday, August 13, 2019

Douglas: Is my dad here?

Ridge: Uh, no. Not right now.

Douglas: He’s angry with me.

Ridge: Well, don’t worry about that. I’m gonna talk to him, and we’ll sort everything out.

Douglas: I told a secret he said not to.

Brooke: We know.

Douglas: Are you mad at me, too?

Brooke: No. Not at all.

Douglas: I told Hope. She didn’t believe me.

Brooke: Well, she does now.

Douglas: She knows Beth is alive?

Brooke: Yes. Hope knows Beth is alive. Thanks to you.

B&B Best Lines, Monday, August 12, 2019

Liam: Hope, this is a lot to process, for you and Steffy.

Steffy: You — you can’t just apologize and take her away! I haven’t even gotten — this is all happening too fast.

Hope: Steffy, you have been a wonderful mother to Beth, and I will always be grateful to you, but it is time for her to know me.

Ridge: But maybe we should all just take a little time to see what’s best for the baby.

Brooke: Hope has lost enough time with her daughter. They shouldn’t be apart one more minute.

Hope: We won’t be.

Steffy: Hope, please… this is Beth’s home. This is the only home she’s ever known. Her sister is here, all of her things…

Hope: And we will work together to make this transition as easy as possible. But my daughter goes home with me. Tonight.

“Mother-Putter!” – ABC’s two-hour night of mini-golf kicks off with golf goddess Michelle Wei gracing the “Holey Moley” green as a guest commentator. In the first hour of competition, fan-favorite hole “Dutch Courage” knocks two more contestants off the course with its giant windmills. Elsewhere, “Arc De Trigolf” pits two contestants named Eric against each other – who share not only a name, but also a fashion sense! Then on “Tee’d Off,” we see what color commentator Rob Riggle calls a “classic matchup” when a mom of two whose precompetition ritual includes drinking a glass of champagne goes up against a contestant who isn’t yet old enough to enjoy a glass of champagne. This dynamic pairing needs three head-to-head rounds to name a winner finally. On “Log Roll,” one competitor makes the mistake of attempting to jump over a moving log and later during the round, the same contestant calls on Course Marshall Joe as he challenges the putt count of his opponent ahead of a tiebreaker putt-off. Resident golf-pro and executive producer Stephen Curry pops up in “Behind the Hole” as he muses why there aren’t more “mini” sports. Will he be the creator of the next phenomenon mini-basketball? “Mother-Putter!” airs THURSDAY, AUG. 22 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC. Power of the Fanny Pack” It’s the grand “Holey Moley” finale that concludes our supersized season one. The season finale opens on the massive “Arc De Trigolf” where one contestant finds himself in the water before he realizes that his ball didn’t even make it across the arc. Later on, this challenging hole trips up two more competitors as both fall into the icy water while attempting to get across before their ball does. Meanwhile, Stephen Curry gives contestants advice for “Slip N Putt,” where there is a photo-finish race to the top of the glacier. Over on “The Distractor,” a firefighter contestant looks to come out on top over the fire breathing distraction. In the nail-biting final round of “Mt. Holey Moley,” all three finalists nearly miss the landing from the zipline, which would cost them a one-stroke penalty, but that doesn’t stop one competitor’s hat from flying into the water! Joining in on the season finale fun is none other than gymnast and three-time Olympic medalist Gabby Douglas, who not only helps out commentating but shows off some fun tricks on “Log Roll” as well. More surprises await during “Power of the Fanny Pack,” airing THURSDAY, AUG. 22 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC. (TV-PG, L) Episodes can also be viewed the next day on ABC.com, the ABC app and Hulu.

Airing Friday, August 23, 2019 (10:00 PM-11:00 PM EST) on ABC ABC News’ ‘20/20’ Reports on Woman Who Authorities Maintain Committed Suicide Even Though Her Family Believes She Was Killed by Deputy Sheriff Boyfriend, Airing Friday, Aug. 23 (Rebroadcast)
Hour Includes Details on Exhumation Conducted by Family and the Surprising Discovery They Say New Autopsy Found
Suicide or homicide? That question still lingers for Michelle O’Connell’s family and friends nearly nine years after she was shot inside her boyfriend’s St. Augustine, Florida, home and died. Her family alleges she was killed by her boyfriend, deputy sheriff Jeremy Banks, but the Sheriff’s Department maintains that she committed suicide. At the request of Michelle’s family, her body was exhumed and an outside forensic expert conducted a second autopsy for them, which concluded that Michelle’s death was a homicide. However, authorities still maintain she took her own life. ABC News’ Ryan Smith investigates the controversy and reports on developments in the case, including Jeremy’s civil suit against a state investigator that was dismissed last year. “20/20” airs Friday, Aug. 23 (10:00 – 11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC. (Rebroadcast. ABC OAD: 6/1/18)
Firearms expert Peter Diaczuk demonstrates where shell casings could have fallen depending on Michelle’s position when she was shot, which also questions the official findings that Michelle shot herself. The hour also features interviews with Michelle’s family, including sister Chrissy O’Connell, mother Patty O’Connell and brother Sean O’Connell; Mindy Fox, Michelle’s friend; Teresa Woodward, Michelle’s former employer; Anne Schindler, reporter who covered the case extensively; Dr. William Anderson, the forensic pathologist who provided the second autopsy for the family; Mac McLeod, Jeremy’s attorney; and Debra Maynard, former St. Johns County deputy sheriff.
On Sept. 2, 2010, Jeremy called 9-1-1 saying he found Michelle shot inside his home. Although police quickly determined it was a suicide, Michelle’s friends and family insisted that she would not take her own life. After the family pressured the Sheriff’s Department to hand the case over to an outside investigator, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) stepped in and spoke with family and friends who said they believed Jeremy is responsible. They claimed Michelle and Jeremy’s relationship was abusive and that it became violent the night Michelle died as she was packing up to leave Jeremy. The FDLE also uncovered new witnesses, and its investigation pointed toward homicide. Still, the state attorney said they had no criminal case against Jeremy. In his autopsy, Dr. Anderson discovered that Michelle’s jaw had been broken prior to her death. His report to the family states that she was first attacked and incapacitated, and then shot and killed by someone else. But the official cause of death remains suicide. Following the FDLE investigation, Jeremy filed a civil lawsuit against that outside investigator, alleging his civil rights had been violated. But last year, the case was dismissed. Jeremy has never been charged and maintains he was not involved in Michelle’s death. Just months ago, police ruled the death of an independent researcher working on Michelle’s case a homicide. Authorities are currently investigating it.

They claimed he was abusive to Molly for years and he had been threatening to kill Molly the night he died. Prosecutors said Corbett’s death was murder. 48 HOURS PRESENTS: “Widow’s War” – 10:00 PM, ET/PT
Peter Van Sant and 48 HOURS investigate the death of a decorated Marine colonel in Iraq and his wife’s decade-long quest to get it labeled a homicide in an encore of “Widow’s War” to be broadcast Saturday, August 17 (10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. In July 2008, Colonel Michael Stahlman was found in his quarters in Iraq with a gunshot wound to his head. He died about two months later in the hospital. The military’s medical examiner called it a suicide. But his wife, Kim, and daughter, MacKenna, have maintained for a decade that the man they loved would never have killed himself. “Widow’s War” is the emotional story of a family’s quest to change the medical examiner’s finding in a way they say reflects the truth – and protects the legacy of a Marine and father of two, who they say gave everything to his country. It is also a case that tests convincing and competing forensic theories. Did Stahlman take his own life, or did someone want him dead? Preview

Hope: I had given up on miracles. I mean, how could something like this happen? But it did. We have our Beth. She’s back. Heh. Yeah.  I’m never letting you go. Never again.

Liam: I mean, it — it does explain the near instant connection we both felt to her.

Hope: From the first moment we saw her. I remember, holding her, it was like this jolt went through me. Yes. ‘Cause you knew, didn’t you? The way you crawled up to me at that wedding, you called me mama… you were just trying to find your way back to me, weren’t you? Yeah. I love you so much. I can’t wait to take you home.

Steffy: No, you’re not. That’s — that’s Phoebe. She’s the little girl I’ve been raising. Sh-she’s the little girl I brought into my family so Kelly could have a little sister. You’re not taking Phoebe anywhere. You’re not taking my daughter from the only home she’s ever known.
