Carol’s first-year partners on rounds are Lexie, who’s very nervous due to the pressure on her to succeed as the first in her family to go to college, and Daniel, a 2018 Harvard Medical School grad who’s already published in the New England Journal of Medicine… twice. Carol will need to win over their chief resident, Dr. Maya Jacobs, an all-business disciplinarian who doesn’t care for Carol’s chatty, outgoing nature. Fortunately, Carol has a couple of friendly faces at the hospital, including Dr. Frost, the accomplished senior attending physician who finds her charming, and her bubbly daughter, Jenny, a successful pharma sales rep who catches the eye of Carol’s fellow doctors. At age 50, Carol is a medical intern who must sink or swim with peers who are half her age, and it’s her enthusiasm, perspective, and yes, even her age, that may be exactly what will make her second act a great success.

KATJA HERBERS, MIKE COLTER, AASIF MANDVI AND MICHAEL EMERSON STAR IN THE NEW DRAMA “EVIL,” A PSYCHOLOGICAL MYSTERY THAT EXAMINES THE ORIGINS OF EVIL ALONG THE DIVIDING LINE BETWEEN SCIENCE AND RELIGION, FROM EXECUTIVE PRODUCERS ROBERT AND MICHELLE KING, PREMIERING THURSDAY, SEPT. 26
Christine Lahti, Kurt Fuller, Brooklyn Shuck, Skylar Gray, Maddy Crocco and Dalya Knapp Also Star
“Pilot” – Forensic psychologist Kristen Bouchard is hired by the Catholic Church to work with David Acosta, a priest-in-training, and contractor Ben Shakir, to determine whether a serial killer is possessed by a demon or merely a psychopath. Kristen finds that she has a taste for the work and is invited to join the team on a permanent basis, on the series premiere of EVIL, Thursday, Sept. 26 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Christine Lahti, Kurt Fuller, Brooklyn Shuck, Skylar Gray, Maddy Crocco and Dalya Knapp also star.
The series focuses on a skeptical female psychologist who joins a priest-in-training and a contractor as they investigate the Church’s backlog of unexplained mysteries, including supposed miracles, demonic possessions and hauntings. Kristen Bouchard cuts ties as an expert witness for the District Attorney after being pushed to lie in court regarding an alleged murderer who appeared to be possessed. To make ends meet, Kristen accepts a job offer from David Acosta, a former adventure-seeking journalist now studying to be a priest and tasked by the Church to assess unexplained phenomena. Rounding out the trio is Ben Shakir, an even-tempered realist recruited by Acosta for his carpentry skills, which he uses to uncover practical rationales behind “hauntings.” Ever logical, Kristen is certain science can provide answers to every incident they encounter – including her own chillingly real night terrors. That is, until she meets Leland Townsend, a sinister man who oozes menace and threatens her and her four young daughters. Undeterred, Kristen, David and Ben set out to assess inexplicable events to see if there’s a logical explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work.

B&B Best Lines, Friday, September 20, 2019

Sally: I’m not questioning your feelings for me or mine for you, okay? I don’t…I don’t doubt this. It’s just what’s… what’s going on up here, you know, all the “what ifs.”

Wyatt: But “what ifs” can be good sometimes, you know? Like–like what if I’m– I’m happier than I was before? You know, what if Wyatt has been working out a lot more, which is pa-pow, right?

Sally: It’s the bad “what ifs,” you know? Like what if… I’m just not lucky in love?

Wyatt: What? Don’t say that. What?

Sally: Well, I mean, look at my history, Wyatt. How many times am I gonna lose out to the other woman?  I just can’t do it again, especially not with you. I love you too much. You know, as hard as I tried, I could not get you out of my system. And that’s why I’m being cautious, not because I doubt you, but because I love you.

Wyatt: Sally…

Sally: No…Look, that can’t be news to you, but sometimes love just isn’t enough. There’s other factors that have to add up, and if I’m being honest with you, a lot of those factors are not working in our favor.

Wyatt: Like what?

Sally: Well, for starters, your mom is–has made it very clear how she is not a fan of me, okay? And your father’s definitely not a fan either.

Wyatt: Oh, okay. I mean, I can’t even imagine what your Grams has said about me, huh? Come on.

Sally: Okay. I mean, so how does that work?

Wyatt: Hold–hold on here.

Sally: No, look, I don’t mind taking on the entire world when it comes to my career, but I am out of the Romeo and Juliet phase, Wyatt. I just can’t handle another heartbreak. I want commitment. I want a solid future with the man that I love.

Wyatt: You deserve to be happy. All right? You deserve to not have to be asking those “what ifs.” All right? In spite of everything that’s happened to me, you have stayed true to who you are, like your thoughts and feelings–those– those have been more important to you than anything else, just like your desire to work at Forrester. And that’s–that’s–that’s always been something I admired about you– your “never say die” attitude, you know, your creativity, your passion. You are special. And you’ve brought something just so unique to my life, and I…I… I messed up. I caused you pain. I mean, you probably– you probably think that I’m like everyone else, like I’m another… another guy who’s– who’s taking advantage of how incredible you are or– or doesn’t see how lucky he is, but you know what? That’s not true. I-I have never forgotten how good we are together. That’s the kind of relationship that you deserve, the kind of guy who– who is courageous and as committed as you are, a guy who knows what he wants, and–and he just– he goes after it. That’s… that’s why…

Sally: Wyatt, what are you doing?

Wyatt: What does it look like? Okay? I don’t have a ring, but.. I love you. Marry me, Sally. Marry me.

Bill: What Flo did to Liam, lying to you, stabbing Katie in the back and the rest of the Logan’s. No second chances for Flo, Wyatt. I’m assuming she’s come to see you, begged for forgiveness?

Wyatt: She came by the other day.

Bill: What do you mean, came by– Flo came here? To this house?

Wyatt: No, to the office.

Bill: My office? Please remind me to tell security not to let Flo within two blocks of anything that has my name on it. What did she say to you?

Wyatt: She told me how sorry she was, and how badly she realized that she’d messed up.

Bill: Come on! That’s the understatement of the century.

Katie: That’s exactly what she said to me, when I went to go see her, ’cause I had to say my piece. I had to let her know that her father would be so ashamed of what she’s done. Storm would disown her, for what she did to the family, what she did to you.

Bill: There is absolutely nothing that Flo can do to redeem herself.

B&B Best Lines, Wednesday, September 18, 2019

Shauna: Oh, close your mouth before something flies in.

Flo:- I–I can’t possibly have just heard you right. Did you just tell me that– that you spent the night with Ridge Forrester?

Shauna:  Should I be a little insulted? I mean, why do you find that so hard to believe?  It’s true? Ridge and I slept together.

Flo: You slept with Ridge?

Shauna: Right by his side all night long.

Flo:  Oh, my God. This–this–this– this can’t be happening. What– well, what were you thinking?

Shauna: Oh, calm down.

Flo: Calm down? Mom, I’ve been out of jail for, like, a day, and you’re already giving the Logan’s another reason to hate us. Tell me exactly what happened. Don’t laugh. What did you do? . How did you end up in bed with Ridge?

Shauna: Uh, well, I– I went to see Brooke yesterday.  Why?  I know. I was just trying to see if I could appeal to her humanity side and, you know, sense of family, but that didn’t work

Flo:  Mom, come on.

Shauna: No, I know, I know. I just thought it was worth a try.

Flo: Well, how did she react?

Shauna: You mean before she physically threw me out?

Flo: Oh, God, seriously?

Shauna: Yeah. And I cannot believe she put her hands on me, and if she wasn’t your aunt, I would have knocked her out.

Flo: Well, I appreciate you resisting that urge.

Shauna: Oh, well, you’re welcome. Anyway, she was furious with Ridge because he didn’t fight your release. So they got into a big fight. So anyway, I went to the Bikini Bar because I needed a drink after I saw her, and, uh, and there he was.

Flo – Ridge was there.

Shauna: Yep. – He was very upset, knocking them back, and so I sat down to join him, and, you know, he wasn’t very welcoming, but I didn’t hold that against him. I still sat down to talk to him. And I just told him how I–I met with Brooke and, you know, begged for her forgiveness and told him how grateful I was for everything that he did for you, and he just kept drinking and drinking and drinking. And then, finally, Danny cut him off, and then Ridge got up to leave, and then boom, he just fell over.

Flo: He passed out?

Shauna:  Yeah. He passed out. So then Danny helped me bring him to this little crash pad that Bikini Bar…  yeah, yeah, yeah.  You used to work there. And then Danny had to go back to the bar to close it up, so, you know, Ridge was just so not even coherent, and I wanted to make sure he was okay, so I said I’d help him and make him comfortable, so I took his shoes off, took his pants off, and…

Flo: you took his pants off?

Shauna: Yeah. I said I was trying to make him comfortable. So then he asked for water, and then, after that, I was gonna leave, I swear. But then Ridge asked me to stay. So I thought, you know, what if he wakes up in the middle of the night and tries to drive home drunk? I wanted to make sure he was okay. So I stayed.

Flo: And then what? You just, like, crawled into bed next to him?

Shauna: Mm, sort of.

Flo: Mom..

Shauna: What? I couldn’t help it. I mean, looking at him, like, I mean, he’s gorgeous, and he’s just laying there, and I’m like… ohh.  …This is the man that helped you get out of jail. And then I kept thinking about all those decades that I would hear about how charming and charismatic he is, so then I was really looking at him just laying there right next to me.

Flo: Okay, mom, you’re making me really, really nervous. You didn’t.

Shauna: No. Of course not. He was passed out.

Flo: Oh, thank God. – But, you know, I couldn’t stop staring at him. So then I was just kind of, you know, touching his face and…

Flo: and what?

Shauna: Uh…  I kissed him.

Flo:  You kissed Ridge?

Shauna: Yes. And I have to be honest. It was amazing to feel his lips on mine.

Flo: Oh, my God, mom.

Shauna: What? You asked. I’m telling you. And you know what? I felt something.

Flo: What do you mean, you felt something? You felt what?

Shauna: I don’t know. I felt something, though.

Flo: Did he wake up when you kissed him?

Shauna:  No. I wish. He was down for the count.

Flo: Do I even want to know what you did next?

Shauna: I rolled over and went to sleep.

Flo: – Are you sure?

Shauna: Of course I’m sure. Okay, maybe I looked at him a little bit longer, but so what? Sue me.

Flo: Oh, my God, mom, I cannot believe it. I–I can’t– –

Shauna: What? I actually did a good deed. He was trashed, and I took very good care of him. I even made him breakfast in the morning, and so what? I spent the night with Ridge Forrester. I mean, no one is gonna find out because you know why? Nothing happened.

B&B Best Lines, Tuesday, September 17, 2019

Katie. – Hey, Flo.

Flo:  Do you want to come in?

Katie: What I want is to never see you again, but since your escape from prison is preventing that– –

Flo:  I didn’t escape from prison.

Katie: Oh, right, right, right. I heard about your, um, your plea deal.

Flo: Yeah. Apparently, my testimony can help out.

Katie: You can stop. You can stop right there because I do not for a moment think that you’re doing something good for this world, that you really care about medical document scammers or whoever the hell it is you’re putting away because you only care about yourself. You are a liar. And I want you to know that you are the exact opposite of your father. Come here. Come here.  Do you feel this heart? Do you feel Storm’s anger and his disgust? God, I hope you do. I hope you feel it. And most of all, I hope you feel his shame.

Flo: You don’t have to tell me that he’s ashamed of me. I already know it. And I know that I disappointed all of you.

Katie: Disappointed. Why does everyone keep throwing that word around? It’s not like you forgot my birthday. You stole your cousin’s baby, and then you watched Hope– you watched a mother grieve for her dead child for months. That’s not disappointing. That’s revolting. That’s monstrous. And I wanted you to rot in jail for it.

Flo: I know that’s where I belong. I know that. But I was given this deal. I was–I was given this immunity and this opportunity. I–I–I understand that you– you don’t ever want to speak to me again. But I’m just hoping that maybe, with a little bit of time, I will somehow be able to earn your respect back. I know it’s a longshot, but it could happen. And maybe Ridge’s… blessing is a start.

Katie: Excuse me?

Flo: For–for us all to try to heal and to move on. Not–not to forget any of it, of course, but just to move forward. Ridge could have fought the feds when they wanted to give me this deal, and he didn’t. And that says so much, and it means the world to me and my mother.

B&B Best Lines, Monday, September 16, 2019

Shauna: I think you need something to eat.

Ridge: Wait.

Shauna: Don’t–don’t worry. I am not leaving yet.

Ridge: Where–where is… where is this place?

Shauna: You know, I just have a hunch that you’re not feeling so good right now.

Ridge: Okay. Where are we and why are you here? Why am I here? What do we…

Shauna: Mm…how much do you remember from last night?

Ridge: Uh… I went out.

Shauna: Well, do you remember getting into a fight with Brooke, and you weren’t happy and…

Ridge: I stopped for a drink.

Shauna:  Yeah, drinking, yes, stopping, no, not so much. A little bit too much Irish whiskey. Actually, are you seeing, uh, leprechauns?

Ridge: No, I–no. I can see you. And I can see this place. So where is it?

Shauna: Upstairs from the bar.

Ridge: Which bar? Bikini Bar?

Shauna: Yeah. You literally went to leave and then just passed out, so, uh, the manager said he knew you, and you know, we brought you up here.

Ridge: Yeah, Danny’s a good guy. Do I smell coffee?

Shauna: Yes, you do. How can you hate somebody who brings you breakfast in bed? Bikini’s not open yet, but I did find stairs that went to the kitchen. I really did wanna make you, um, eggs and steak, but, uh, the steaks were all frozen.  Don’t worry. I cleaned up my mess.

Ridge: Okay. I know I’m a little foggy, but… I didn’t forget.

Shauna: That you and your family have a grudge against me? I know. I don’t care. Because of you, Flo is free, and, Ridge, you are always gonna be my hero, and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Best Lines, Friday, September 13, 2019

Shauna: Let me get you a little bit more comfortable. – Okay. – Uh… I’ll take your shoes off. – Okay. Hi. Hey, how you doing? – Well, I’m just gonna take your pants off. …So you can be comfortable.

Ridge: I know. I’m okay.

Shauna: All right, but let me help you.

Ridge:  Hi, there. Ah, it’s no problem at all.

Shauna:  It’s just… – give me your belt. – Yeah.

Ridge:  I got– oh, God. Ohh. I’m just gonna lay down for a minute.

Shauna: All right. Lay down.

Ridge: Okay. I’m okay.

Shauna: All right. Well… shh, shh, shh. I know. You know what? I am gonna go downstairs and let you sleep this off, okay?

Ridge:  Okay. – All right. – You know what? You can’t–no, don’t go. No–I need you to stay now.

Shauna:  Okay. I’ll stay. – Okay. – You are an amazing man, Ridge Forrester. What you did for me and my daughter… because of your compassion and forgiveness. That’s something Brooke… wasn’t willing to do. And the way she spoke to me. You would never treat me like that.  Mm-mm. Mm.

B&B Best Lines, Thursday, September 12, 2019

Ridge: No, we’re not doing that. We’re not gonna exile my son. He’s in trouble. He needs help. Therapy or family counseling or whatever people do, we just–we gotta all pull back together.

Brooke: I’m sorry, Ridge, but I don’t want him here. I don’t want Thomas around.

Ridge: This is where he lives. This is where Douglas lives.

Brooke: Okay, that’s fine. Douglas can stay, and I think he should. It’s not safe for him to be with Thomas right now.

I just…In fact, I’ve been considering getting a restraining order.

Ridge: Are you kidding me?

Brooke: No, I’m not kidding you! We need to protect Douglas and Hope. I will do whatever it takes to keep Thomas away from them.

Friday, September 20, 2019 (10:00 PM-11:00 PM EST) : ABC News‘ Two-Hour ‘20/20’ Reports on the Murder of Mandy Stavik, the Cold Case Finally Solved After Nearly 30 Years, Friday, Sept. 20
Details How the Killer’s Co-Worker Cracked the Case With Used Water Cup From the Office
In 1989, 18-year-old Amanda “Mandy” Stavik disappeared while jogging in her rural Washington hometown; and later, police discovered her body in a nearby river. News of her rape and murder shook her tight-knit community, but with no leads and police unable to find a DNA match to her killer, the case went cold for decades. This spring, a jury found a former neighbor of Mandy’s, Timothy Bass, guilty, finally bringing an end to the nearly 30-year-old case. A two-hour “20/20” unfolds the details of how police finally got their man, including the key role a colleague of Bass’ played in cracking the case. “20/20” airs Friday, Sept. 20 (9:00 – 11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC.
“20/20” features interviews with Mary Stavik, Mandy’s mother; Gina Malone, Bass’ ex-wife; Kim Wagner, Bass’ co-worker who helped break the case; Molly Brighton, Mandy’s sister; Bridget Whitson, Mandy’s stepsister; Rick Zender, Mandy’s former boyfriend; David McEachran, former Whatcom County district attorney and prosecutor on the case; Bill Elfo, Whatcom County sheriff; and Kevin Bowhay, lead detective on the case.
While on Thanksgiving break during her freshman year at Central Washington University, Mandy went out for a run with her dog but never returned home. When her dog came home hours later without Mandy, her family and neighbors began a frantic search. Days later, police found her body while searching the Nooksack River by boat.
In 2009, Detective Bowhay took on the case and performed a DNA sweep of the town, requesting samples from dozens of men who lived in the area in 1989, but no matches surfaced. Soon, Bowhay focused on Bass who lived on the same street as Mandy at the time of the murder. Bass quickly married and moved out of the area following Mandy’s death. When detectives first approached Bass in 2013, he refused to hand over his DNA for testing. After Bowhay visited Bass’ workplace, his co-worker Kim Wagner figured out authorities were interested in Bass. On her own, she collected Bass’ used plastic water cup from the garbage and turned it over to police for testing. Bass’ DNA retrieved from the cup matched the DNA taken from Mandy’s body, and police arrested him in December 2017. This July, Bass received 320 months in prison for the first-degree murder of Mandy.
“20/20” is anchored by David Muir and Amy Robach. David Sloan is senior executive producer.

Special Investigative Edition of Dateline, “Reckoning,” Airs Friday, Sept. 20 at 10PM ET/9C
Virginia Roberts Giuffre shares her account to NBC News’ Savannah Guthrie of being forced to have sex with Jeffrey Epstein and others in his powerful orbit, including Prince Andrew, and her allegation that Epstein’s associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, played a crucial role in his sex trafficking organization. For this special investigative edition of Dateline NBC titled “Reckoning,” airing Friday, Sept. 20 at 10pm ET/9pm CT, Guthrie speaks with several women who also describe the elaborate and highly organized operation that enabled Epstein to abuse young girls for many years.
Guthrie also sits down for the first extensive television interview with Michael Reiter, the former Palm Beach Chief of Police who oversaw the original investigation into Epstein. Reiter tells Guthrie that his department’s investigation more than a decade ago uncovered substantial evidence of Epstein’s crimes, but subsequent handling by state and federal prosecutors was deeply flawed. He describes it as “the worst failure of the criminal justice system…in modern times.”
Additionally, Guthrie speaks with a group of women, some talking publicly for the first time about their harrowing accusations against Epstein, their years-long quest for justice and what that means following Epstein’s death. Among them are Anouska De Georgiou and Rachel Benavidez, coming forward for the first time, as well as Giuffre, Jennifer Araoz and Chauntae Davies.
Prince Andrew, Maxwell and others deny Giuffre’s allegations.
“Reckoning” is produced by a team led by investigative producer Sarah Fitzpatrick, Dateline senior producer Allison Orr and head of NBC News’ Investigative Unit, Richard Greenberg.

Sally: Look at you.

Wyatt: I’m sorry. Do you have an appointment? Because I’m a very busy man.

Sally: Uh, you’re a very sexy man.

Wyatt: Oh.

Sally: You know, if this suit did not look so good on you, I might wanna rip it off.

Wyatt: Oh.

Sally: Mm-hmm. Sure. God, I’m really, really liking this whole Wall Street look you got going on here.

Wyatt: Really?

Sally: Mm-hmm. I mean, don’t get me wrong. The scruffy surfer is very sexy, too, but I just– I’m really digging this.

Wyatt: Well, I-I clean up pretty well, don’t I?

Sally: Yeah, but it’s like the whole vibe.  Like, just hearing you say “merger”…

Wyatt: Merger.

Sally: And “market extension.”

Wyatt: Market extension.

Sally: God, it’s such a turn-on. Mm-hmm.

Wyatt: The corporate lingo is turning you on.

Sally: Oh, it is so hot.

Wyatt: Really?

Sally: Yes, I could watch you all day.

Wyatt: I can make that happen. I can just– I can clear my schedule, and then one flip of the lock.
