Airing Friday, November 01, 2019 (9:00 PM-11:00 PM EST) ‘20/20’ REPORTS ON MAN STILL AWAITING SENTENCING – WITH BAIL SET AT $1 MILLION – AFTER TWO JURIES FOUND HIM GUILTY OF MURDERING PREGNANT WIFE
Two-Hour Program Details Why Wife’s Family Is Waiting for Justice Over 20 Years Later
‘20/20’ Reports Twist in Case Involving Investigation of Boy Next Door – Wife’s Then-16-Year-Old Student
In 1999, David Temple claimed he discovered his eight-month-pregnant wife, Belinda Temple, shot dead inside their home. Despite two murder trials and two juries finding David guilty of Belinda’s murder, he’s once again awaiting sentencing, 20 years after her death. With his bail set at $1 million, Belinda’s family is also waiting for justice decades after the terrible tragedy changed their lives forever. “20/20” extensively follows David’s most recent trial and reports on a twist in the case involving Riley Joe Sanders III, Belinda’s neighbor and student at the time of her murder. Defense attorneys alleged at trial he shot Belinda with a shotgun he secretly took from his father, but Sanders denies any involvement in her murder and was cleared as a suspect during the investigation into her death. Correspondent Deborah Roberts reports for “20/20” on Friday, Nov. 1 (9:00 – 11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC.
“20/20” features interviews with Casey Goosby, Sanders’ high school friend; Andy Kahan, Crime Stoppers of Houston’s director of Victim Services and Advocacy, and spokesperson for Belinda’s family; Stanley Schneider and Romy Kaplan, David’s current attorneys; Paul Looney and Dick DeGuerin, David’s former lawyers; Natalie Scott, David and Belinda’s former neighbor; James Curtis Dykes II, student athlete on the football team David coached at Alief Hastings High School; Brian Rogers, former Houston Chronicle reporter who covered the murder; Lynn Graves, head football coach at Stephen F. Austin State University, where David attended and played football; Maria Meijide, paramedic who responded to Belinda’s murder; Craig Malisow, former Houston Press journalist who reported on the case; and Kat Cosley, former KTRK-TV reporter who covered the recent trial for “20/20.” The episode details the complicated case, including the murder weapon that authorities never found; the couple’s turbulent relationship; and David’s affair with a fellow educator, Heather Scott, that heated up just days before Belinda’s death. David and Heather eventually married.
Following Belinda’s murder, the case went cold for years and David moved onto a new life with Heather. But in 2003, news of Laci Peterson’s murder when she was eight months pregnant made national headlines, and authorities charged her husband, Scott Peterson, with her murder. Like David, Scott was also having an affair, and the similarities between Laci and Belinda were uncanny. As media pressure intensified, authorities ramped up their investigation. Just days after the remains of Laci and her unborn baby were found, police arrested David using new FBI crime lab results indicating David’s clothing had gunshot residue that matched the residue on Belinda’s clothing. A jury convicted David of Belinda’s murder for the first time in 2007, and he received a sentence of life in prison.
Almost five years after David’s initial conviction, his attorney received a tip from a man who claimed then-16-year-old neighbor Sanders may have been involved in Belinda’s murder. After evidence came to the attention of David’s defense team that had been withheld by the prosecution, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals threw out David’s first conviction in 2016, entitling him to a new trial. At the start of David’s second trial this past summer, Heather filed for divorce. During the trial Sanders maintained that he did not kill Belinda, and David was found guilty for the second time in August. Considering a range from probation to life in prison, the jury was hung on the sentence after more than 20 hours of deliberations. The judge declared a mistrial, and the retrial on the punishment phase is currently scheduled for March 2020.
“20/20” is anchored by David Muir and Amy Robach. David Sloan is senior executive producer.

ON “60 MINUTES” SUNDAY: REGULATION AND A THRIVING BLACK MARKET BURNING UP PROFITS OF CALIFORNIA’S LEGAL WEED BUSINESS
As a business, legal marijuana in California was supposed to be a no-brainer. How could it not be profitable in a liberal state with nearly 40 million residents, where some of the best weed in the world has been grown for decades? But almost three years after the state passed Prop-64, the law that legalized the adult use of the drug, California cannabis producers are not seeing the windfalls that were predicted. They tell Sharyn Alfonsi that regulations and a robust black market are cutting into legal pot profits. Alfonsi reports from Northern California’s “Emerald Triangle” on the next edition of 60 MINUTES Sunday, Oct. 27 (7:30-8:30 PM, ET/7:00-8:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network. Preview
“The regulated market has been a fraction of what everybody expected it to be,” says Mikey Steinmetz. So far, he hasn’t seen the profits promised to investors who put up $175 million to seed his pot processing center, a sprawling warehouse where he shows Alfonsi tens of thousands of pounds of cannabis being processed for sale to retailers. And those retailers are a big part of the problem – there aren’t enough of them. “There’s less retailers in California than there are in the state of Oregon,” he tells Alfonsi. California has nearly 10 times the population of Oregon.
The California law gives local governments the right to regulate the pot shops, so towns can prohibit them. A whopping 80 percent of the state’s towns and cities have turned legal pot shops down.
The law also calls for strict regulation and fees that can hamper licensed growers like Casey O’Neill, who served time for cultivating pot when it was illegal. Turns out O’Neill’s vision of earing a lucrative living doing the thing he loves was just a pipe dream. After jumping through all the regulatory hoops with costs of $50,000 over a few years, he says, there was no profit in growing his 45 plants. “Permits, for consulting – $2,500 a year for the water board discharge permit. It’s $750 a year for the pond permit. It’s [a] $1,350 application fee to the county, plus another $675 when they actually give you the permit annually,” he complains to Alfonsi.
The black market growers are the ones making the money, says Mendocino County Sherriff Tom Allman. “The black market has greatly increased,” he says. That product takes customers away from California’s legal growers. Black-market growers also sell their illegal weed out of state, a market closed to California growers who may only sell in state. So the black-market growers have a huge market. Allman says, “Once a week, we get a call, it’s usually some trooper back east, you know, at 3:00 in the morning, who stopped a car for not having a taillight. Says, ‘You won’t believe it. You know, we got 35, 40 pounds.’” 60 MINUTES was told by highway patrols in six states east of California that since Prop-64 was implemented, they have seized up to three times more pot on their roads.
In-state, much of the illegal weed isn’t just being sold by shadowy dealers but in illegal storefronts in strip malls, where buyers aren’t being taxed at 45 percent and the dealers don’t buy expensive permits from the state. Legalization has actually made illegal weed cheaper and easier to buy. It’s frustrating for entrepreneurs like Steinmetz. “Unlike other industries, we have this kind of in-the-shadows, unspoken-about competitor, right? So it’s not like California is fully raging, fully legal.”

DID A MEETING SET UP ON A DATING APP LEAD TO THE DISAPPEARANCE OF KELLY DWYER, OR WAS IT SOMEONE SHE KNEW?
“48 Hours” Investigates in “The Disappearance of Kelly Dwyer” Preview
Kelly Dwyer vanished after a night out in Milwaukee in October 2013. Did a meeting set up on a dating app lead to the disappearance, or was it someone she knew?
Correspondent Peter Van Sant and 48 HOURS investigate Dwyer’s story and the quest for answers in “The Disappearance of Kelly Dwyer” to be broadcast Saturday, Nov. 2 (10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
It’s a case about a young woman with a promising future cut short. The investigation raises questions about the risks of online dating, risky sex and the hidden double lives unknown by those who loved them.
“There are some evil people out there,” says Katherine Spano, who was a detective with the Milwaukee Police Department when Dwyer went missing.
The investigation began when Dwyer didn’t show up for work on Oct. 12, 2013. Her co-workers were the first to respond by calling her cell phone and checking social media. Investigators would learn her phone was dead, her social media was down and her debit card hadn’t been used.
“In an age of an electronic footprint, if you will, it’s not there,” says Assistant District Attorney Sara Hill. “It’s like she just isn’t anymore.”
Investigators would learn that Dwyer had been last seen alive on a date with Kris Zocco, whom she had been dating for about a year. Police initially think Zocco had something to do with Dwyer’s disappearance – which he denies. But then, Zocco was arrested for drugs that police found while searching for clues to Dwyer’s disappearance. Investigators also learn Zocco had a long-time girlfriend who didn’t know about Dwyer. Investigators also learned Dwyer was dating others she had met through dating websites. Friends also told police they occasionally noticed bruising on Dwyer’s wrists and neck, something they say she laughed off as a crazy night.
Everything changed 18 months later when Dwyer’s body was found in a rural area 38 miles from Milwaukee.
Where does the twisted tale lead? Van Sant and 48 HOURS report the story of Dwyer’s disappearance through interviews with her friends, investigators and Zocco’s mother and Zocco’s attorneys. 48 HOURS is also there for the dramatic courtroom showdown.
48 HOURS: “The Disappearance of Kelly Dwyer” is produced by Susan Mallie and Josh Gelman. Ryan N. Smith is the development producer. Lauren A. White is the field producer. Kevin Dean, Jud Johnston, Diana Modica and Greg Kaplan are the editors. Anthony Batson is the senior broadcast producer. Nancy Kramer is the executive story editor. B&B Best Lines, Wednesday, October 23, 2019

Thomas: I know how it sounds, um, but I’m not used to rejection. And it threw me a little knowing that you didn’t want me. But I knew. On some level I just… I was… too stubborn and proud to admit it. I’m ashamed. But look, I need to make one thing absolutely clear. Me letting Douglas stay here with you, that does not mean I don’t love him. I love that kid with everything I’ve got.

Hope: So what are you getting at?

Thomas: If I were to ever sign adoption papers, it would be for one reason and one reason only. You. I might sign them for you.

B&B Best Lines, Tuesday, October 22, 2019

Hope: Was she okay in the car?

Liam: Yeah, yeah, she’s– she was good. She’s better now. Um, she was–I thought she’d be hungry when we got home, but she just wanted her nap.

Hope: Are you annoyed with me right now?

Liam: Annoyed? No, no. No. Uh, I-I was…uh…a little… surprised.

Hope: Liam, when I see a text message from Steffy with heart emojis and X-O-X-O’s…

Liam: I know, but, you know, I get a text message from Pam at work, and it’s got heart emojis and X-O-X-O’s. Like–

Hope: You weren’t married to Pam.

Liam: Okay, but then, given my history with Steffy, shouldn’t a text like that seem pretty…normal? Listen, you–you wanted me to give Steffy this verbal smackdown in front of you, and I didn’t wanna do it because she–she lost a child that she loves, and she’s– she’s trying to handle all of this with grace, so, like, why–why would we deliberately hurt her more?

Hope: Okay, you’re right. You’re right. I took it too far. I mean, Steffy isn’t a threat, but Thomas is, and there is another child to think about. We have to think about Douglas, too.

Liam: Yeah, well, Douglas is clearly happier away from Thomas.

B&B Best Lines, Monday, October 21, 2019

Thomas: It’s kinda wild, huh? That we’d end up in the same apartment complex? We should move Xander and Flo in, call the whole place Phoebegate or Bethgate or… victims of Reese Buckingham’s Estates. That must have been tough, uh, being there for the trial, watching your father get sentenced.

Zoe: Yeah, it was tough and scary…surreal. You know, there was some relief that he didn’t get away with it, you know, for any of us to ever move on and… find some closure.

Thomas: You know when I’ll have closure? Whenever the last Logan is out of my company.

Zoe: Wait. I… I just realized you’ve got… Shauna in the, uh, “in” column.

Thomas: Flo’s mom– she may be the key to pulling this whole thing off.: Brooke is out. All the Logan’s are.

Zoe: Even Hope. Well, look, it’s–it’s just that you pursued her for so long. I mean, you even married her. And you just want her out of the company?

Thomas: It doesn’t matter, as long as my dad is free of Brooke and Liam’s free of Hope, I mean, he can be over there with his child. That’d mean so much to Steffy.

Zoe: Yeah, but, I mean, you can’t stand Liam. Why would you even–

Thomas: Who cares? Look, he makes… he makes my sister happy. They have a child together. They have a family. He would be with Steffy right now if it wasn’t for Hope. I mean, I can’t believe it, that the hold that these Logan women have, and my dad has been sucked up into it for his entire life, but you know what? Liam–he still has a chance. Liam can get out.

B&B Best Lines, Friday, October 18, 2019

Hope: Are you really going to go there, Steffy? Attacking my family, bringing up old history?

Steffy: I’m just saying how it felt watching you walk out the door with my daughter.

Hope: My daughter, Steffy. My little girl with Liam.

Steffy: And Kelly is my little girl with Liam.

Hope: Okay, so you’re saying what, that that gives you permission to undermine my relationship with my daughter’s father after everything the three of us have been through?

Steffy: I’m not trying to undermine anyone. In case you haven’t noticed, I have given you space to be with your daughter and Liam. I’ve been focusing on myself, my daughter, going through my own heartbreak. But Kelly and I are family with Liam, too. She needs her daddy. He loves her, and she loves him.

Hope: Of course he does. Liam being with me and Beth doesn’t mean that he loves Kelly any less. He’s always, always going to be here for her, Steffy. It’s just that Liam sees his future with me.

Steffy: And you’re sure about that? I think you’re getting way ahead of yourself.

Hope: Because there’s not a ring on my finger yet? You know how that sounds, Steffy? Like–like you think he’s still fair game, like you can still pursue him. You understand that we’re living together, right? We’re sharing a bed.

Steffy: But, like, for how long, though? It’s not like you made a permanent commitment.

Hope: That still doesn’t mean that you get to go behind my back. Liam and I, we’re in a relationship, so show some respect, the same kind of respect that I would show you if it were the other way around, not sending little messages with heart emojis and xoxo. Like, I’m not going to tolerate it, Steffy.

Steffy: Why were you even on his phone?

Hope: It just popped up.

Steffy: Oh, I’m sure it was.

Liam: Whoa. Whoa. Hey, guys. Hope, what is going on? What is happening right now? Why are you talking to Steffy this way?

Steffy: It’s okay, Liam.

Liam: Well– well, no, it’s not okay, given everything that you’ve been through. Hope, do you realize that, for Steffy, it’s as if there was a death in the family? I mean, as far as she’s concerned, she lost her Phoebe, right? She lost the little girl that she had loved and raised and cared for for months. I mean, I– I should have been bringing Beth over here more. We, as a couple, should have been bringing our daughter over to play with Kelly more. I mean, can you– can you try to show some compassion?

Hope: I do feel compassion for Steffy.

Liam: Okay. Then you got to respect my choice to bring Beth over here.

Hope: No, it’s not about that. It’s about her showing respect for us, for our family.

Liam: How is she not showing respect for us and our family? Look, we’re all in a tough spot here, right? I have daughters with each of you. We’re doing our best.

Hope: I understand that, but if Steffy is feeling the way she’s feeling, like she’s stuck in some sort of limbo, then…

Steffy: I never said that.

Hope: Okay, well, it still amounts to the same thing, right? And the one person who can put an end to it is Liam, so, Liam, can you give us a clear answer once and for all? Who does your heart belong to? We’re in love. We’re living together. We’re raising our daughter. That doesn’t mean that you won’t see Kelly. You are an amazing, attentive father to her, but that is where it ends. And you need to be straight with Steffy that you see your future with me. You know, I actually– I–I think this is good that this is happening, that we are all here and discussing this because obviously there are still some shades of gray and confusion about this matter, so let’s… set things straight. Let’s not give Steffy any false hope. Okay? You two are just co-parenting, and the romantic relationship is over. Please tell her. What–I don’t even think this needs saying. Liam, we’re in a relationship. We don’t need a piece of paper or a ring to say that. Our love speaks for itself, and Steffy should respect that. Okay? So I’m gonna need you to tell her Liam, that–that, if Steffy sees some sort of future with you, it’s misguided. The two of you are just co-parenting, and the romance is over. Can you please make that clear to her, Liam, please? It’s the kind thing to do. She deserves to hear that from you. It’s– it’s the right thing to do so she can move on with her life. So for once and for all, Liam, tell Steffy it’s over.

ABC’s David Muir Exclusively Interviews Payton Leutner, Speaking for the First Time After Her One-Time Friends Stabbed Her 19 Times in the Name of Slender Man, Friday, Oct. 25
Two-Hour ’20/20′ Special Also Features New Interviews with Payton’s Parents, Detectives Who Interviewed the Attackers and the Assistant District Attorney Who Prosecuted the Case
‘The Wicked’ Airs Friday, Oct. 25 (9:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC
Anchor David Muir has the exclusive interview with Payton Leutner, who speaks for the first time five years after her two friends stabbed her 19 times and left her for dead in the woods of Waukesha, Wisconsin, when she was 12 years old. Pre-teens at the time, authorities say Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier claimed they wanted to kill Payton to prove themselves to a mysterious fictitious character—known as Slender Man. Now 17 years old and in high school, Payton talks about the unspeakable day, the long road of recovery, and her life now. “The Wicked” airs on “20/20” Friday, Oct. 25 (9:00-11:00 p.m. EDT) on ABC.
The two-hour special edition of “20/20” features new interviews with Payton’s parents, Joe and Stacie Leutner; Waukesha Police Detectives Tom Casey and Michelle Trussoni, who interviewed the suspects during the investigation; Shelly Fisher, who interviewed Payton at the hospital; Dan Klein, who was the first officer on the scene the day of the attack; Waukesha County Assistant District Attorney Kevin Osborne, who prosecuted the case; Morgan’s attorney, Anthony Cotton; Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Reporter Bruce Vielmetti, who covered the case; and doctors who evaluated both suspects. “20/20” will also include the shocking police interviews with Morgan and Anissa about the crimes they committed and Muir’s interviews with Angie Geyser, Morgan’s mom, and Kristi Weier, Anissa’s mom.
In May 2014, Payton and Anissa attended a sleepover at Morgan’s home. The next morning while pretending to play hide-and-seek, Morgan repeatedly stabbed Payton in the woods. After the girls left her, Payton struggled to reach a nearby road, where a bicyclist spotted her and called 911. Morgan and Anissa were missing for several hours before authorities apprehended them along Interstate 94. Authorities charged both girls as adults with first-degree attempted intentional homicide. Anissa accepted a deal to plead guilty to attempted second-degree murder, and a jury found her not guilty determining she was mentally ill at the time of the crime. In 2017, a judge ordered her under a state mental commitment for 25 years, with at least three years of locked confinement. Morgan pleaded guilty to first-degree attempted intentional homicide in exchange for prosecutors not holding her criminally responsible for her actions. In 2018, the judge sentenced her to 40 years under state institutional care. Both girls are currently serving out their sentences at the same Wisconsin state mental health institution.
Muir has been reporting the Slender Man story since 2014. In 2014, Muir had the first interview ever at the time with Payton’s parents, who described the harrowing sequence of events of that fateful day that changed their lives forever, and Payton courageously revealed her identity for the first time.
David Muir and Amy Robach are the anchors of “20/20.” David Sloan is senior executive producer.

“48 HOURS” EXPLORES THE RIVETING REAL-LIFE MURDER MYSTERY AROUND THE DEATH OF A NEW YORK CITY BUSINESSMAN AND THE 23-YEAR SEARCH FOR ANSWERS, IN “WHO WANTED HOWARD PILMAR DEAD?” Preview
Pilmar’s Father and Stepmother Speak Out About the Case in Their First Network TV Interviews
New York City businessman Howard Pilmar was murdered in the headquarters of his successful office supply store and coffee shop in 1996. Police suspected his wife killed him with help from her brother. Why would she want him dead? It would take more than two decades to get answers.
Correspondent Richard Schlesinger and 48 HOURS go inside the riveting real-life murder mystery behind the death of Pilmar and the search for answers in “Who Wanted Howard Pilmar Dead?” to be broadcast Saturday, Oct. 26 (10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The broadcast features the first network television interviews with Pilmar’s father and stepmother, his family and the supervisor of the investigation.
Pilmar’s body was found in a pool of blood. He had been stabbed repeatedly, and investigators say he was even stabbed after he was dead.
“This is: I want to make sure you’re dead, absolutely dead, completely and utterly dead,” says former New York Police Department commander Roger Parrino.
It’s a twisted case, sparked by greed, hate and debt, and relationships that, to the outside, were portrayed as wonderful, but behind closed doors were a different story.
Why would someone want him dead so badly? NYPD detectives couldn’t find someone with the kind of hatred that would lead to murder – until they discovered surprises about Pilmar’s wife, Roslyn, and her brother, Evan Wald. Roslyn inherited more than a $1 million in life insurance, plus the family’s real estate holdings and the company that Howard Pilmar’s father, Frank, built. For more than two decades, prosecutors didn’t believe there was enough evidence to charge anyone with the murder.
“He was stabbed over 40 times,” says Pilmar’s stepmother, Carol Pilmar. “It had to be somebody he knew, that hated him so much.”
“He was slaughtered,” says Frank Pilmar.
The murder shook Howard Pilmar’s family and friends. There were no witnesses, and police never found a weapon, nor had they identified any suspects other than Roslyn Pilmar and Evan Wald.
“I have my life before Howard was killed and after Howard was killed,” says Pilmar’s stepsister, Heather. “They didn’t really understand the ramifications of it. How it would change my father. How it would change the dynamic of my family.”
The case then went cold, and Roslyn Pilmar and Evan Wald went on with their lives. But then NYPD cold case investigators and Manhattan prosecutors spent four years reviewing the evidence and finding new witnesses. Finally, there were some new clues.
Schlesinger and 48 HOURS report the story through interviews with Howard Pilmar’s family and friends, investigators who handled the case at the time, and more.
48 HOURS: “Who Wanted Howard Pilmar Dead?” is produced by Lisa Freed and Murray Weiss. Doreen Schechter and Phil Tangel are the editors. Gabriella Demirdjian is the field producer. Marc Goldbaum is development producer. Patti Aronofsky is the senior producer. Anthony Batson is the senior broadcast producer. Nancy Kramer is the executive story editor. Judy Tygard is the executive producer.

Thomas: Sorry. What? What do you want?

Zoe: Why are you in my building?

Thomas: You live here?

Zoe: Yeah, this, uh, dumpy studio is all I could afford after I got fired.

Thomas: Ah. Well, at least you have your own place. I’m staying with a friend.

Zoe: What, your family doesn’t have an extra mansion you can use?

Thomas: Not very many places are open to me right now, Zoe. Uh, I’m just gonna grab some water. Do you want to come in? My friend won’t mind, and, well… you must have a million questions about what happened.

Zoe: Uh… yeah, I can come in for a minute.

Thomas: Sure. Sounds like things have been rough for both of us.

Zoe: Yeah. Rough is a understatement. Can’t find a job, and I’m nearly broke. Today the judge hit my dad with the maximum sentence.

B&B Best Lines, Wednesday, October 16, 2019

Ridge: You said nothing happened that night.

Shauna: I didn’t want you freaked out. You’re freaked out.

Ridge: I’m not freaked out at all. I just–this kiss, what–what, uh–

Shauna: It was all my doing. I mean, you were passed out drunk. I’m sorry, I couldn’t help it.

Ridge: Okay, but this, um, this kiss, what–what kind of a kiss we talking about here?

Shauna: A nice one.

Ridge: Oh, God.

Shauna: I know, you were just laying there and you looked so sweet.

Ridge: I was… But I didn’t kiss you back, because I was out, right?

Shauna: You were pretty out of it.

Ridge: Yeah.

Shauna: But you did kiss me back.

Ridge: Oh…

Shauna: I have another confession. I felt something. It made me want to kiss you again.

B&B Best Lines, Tuesday, October 15, 2019

Ridge: Did you check in at the hospital at all?

Brooke: Bill and Will practically camped out in Katie’s hospital room the last few days, so I’m gonna go over there in a bit.

Ridge: Now you have to admit, past mistakes aside, Flo really stepped up.

Brooke: They released her from the hospital. She should have gone back to prison instead of back to her apartment.

Ridge: I saw you laying into Shauna. What was that all about?

Brooke: Ridge, I just don’t want them creeping back into our lives.

Ridge: Creeping back in? Flo saved your sister’s life. She gave her a kidney. So to me, it looks like they’re trying. And what about you? No understanding? No forgiveness?

Brooke: Forgiveness? No, after what she did to my daughter, I can’t even believe that you’re asking me that.

Sally: Uh, where does Hope keep the extra diapers?

Wyatt: What? If you went through all the extra diapers in the nursery, I mean, we got problems on our hands.

Sally: Ah. Your uncle thinks he’s so funny. Oh, no.  No, I wanted to restock them before Hope and Liam got home, you know, just so they didn’t have to do it whenever they got back.

Wyatt: Well, then let’s just, let’s look at the list.

Sally: What list?

Wyatt: The list that Hope gave us with all the instructions. I mean, I’m sure it tells us where all the extra diapers are, right? It’s just I gotta… gotta find the list. Uh-oh. Sal…do you–do you know where the list is?

Sally: I didn’t know there was a list.

Wyatt: Did you put it somewhere?

Douglas: Here.

Wyatt: The list!  Where did you find it?

Douglas: You put it on the fridge so you wouldn’t forget where it was.

Wyatt: That’s exactly what I did. Thank you. Uh, diapers now. Where are the diapers?

Douglas: Right here.

Wyatt: That’s–yeah. That’s exactly where they are.

Sally: Yeah, I could use one of him around our house.

Wyatt: Yeah.

Sally: Wyatt is always losing something.

Wyatt:  Especially disagreements with her.

Sally: Ha. Ha ha ha ha.

Wyatt: Ha ha ha ha ha ha. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Right?

Sally: Well, according to this, it is time for Beth’s nap.

Wyatt: Sure doesn’t seem very sleepy. Maybe we could fudge on the nap time?

Douglas: Mnh-mnh.

Wyatt: Or not.

Douglas: Hope says naps are important.

Sally: And Hope is right. They are.

Douglas: Liam usually rocks her in his arms. She likes that a lot.

Wyatt: Well, that’s exactly what we’re gonna do, right?

Sally: You know, Douglas, Wyatt and I haven’t looked after a lot of babies, and it can be kind of intimidating even with babies as sweet as Beth. But with you here, it has been easy-peasy.
