  • CBS BIG BROTHER – Wednesday, September 29 Show More
Episode 37 (Season 23) – Airing 9/29/21 (9:00 PM) – Tonight On Big Brother 23: Winner Revealed On Finale Night
Tonight on Big Brother 23 the winner will be revealed amid the finale night event as all sixteen Houseguests are expected to gather and celebrate the season end complete with confetti and all. The show kicks off at 9/8c for the two-hour event following tonight’s Survivor 41 episode on CBS.
We’ve got a Final 3 trio featuring Azah, Derek F, and Xavier and all three are hoping for the just two spots that will stand before the Jury and make their case. Sure, we’ve heard Derek’s delusional arguments already, but what will the Jury decide when faced with the decision and what will each of the first two round winners elect to do if given the chance to pick a partner for the F2?
Until just a few days ago it all seemed like a clear path forward with Xavier electing to drag Derek the goat to F2 and Azah making the same choice for her game. As DF put it yesterday, “sit next to the fat man” at F2 and win yourself $750,000!, but in an unexpected twist DF may have similarly talked himself out of a sure thing with Azah. Azah isn’t feeling Derek’s hurtful comments about how he feels she did nothing but stare at the wall this season and so now she’s thinking she’d rather lose to Xavier, which I think she would, than see Xavier get third while DF gets second if she took her fellow Joker to the end.
It’s all kinda nuts to consider throwing away $675,000 to take $75K for yourself instead of $750K, but Azah is wavering over that very decision. We’ll find out tonight if she even has that choice when Round 2 plays out from Saturday’s competition before we get a live Round 3.

  • CBS 48 HOURS – Saturday, October 2 Show More
48 HOURS Airing Saturday, October 2 (10:00PM ET/PT) – IN A WORLD EXCLUSIVE, SOCIALITE JASMINE HARTIN, CHARGED WITH KILLING A POLICE SUPERINTENDENT IN BELIZE, TELLS HER STORY IN DETAIL FOR THE FIRST TIME ON TELEVISION, IN “48 HOURS: JASMINE HARTIN’S SHOT IN THE DARK” Preview
In a world exclusive, Jasmine Hartin, a socialite accused of fatally shooting police superintendent Henry Jemmott in Belize, tells her story in detail to correspondent Peter Van Sant for the first time on television, in 48 HOURS: “Jasmine Hartin’s Shot in the Dark,” to be broadcast Saturday, Oct. 2 (10:00 PM, ET/PT) and streamed on Paramount+.
“I am not a murderer,” Hartin tells Van Sant in an exclusive interview. “That’s ridiculous.”
Hartin and Jemmott were on a moonlit pier in the tropical paradise of Belize last May. One shot rang out. Jemmott was dead with a single gunshot wound behind his ear. Hartin, 32, the mother of twins, was found dazed and blood-soaked on the pier, which was not far from the beachfront condo she shared with her partner, Andrew Ashcroft, the son of a British billionaire.
The case has generated international headlines and intrigue. It’s a story of power, privilege and tragedy. Was it really an accident or something more? Hartin has been charged with manslaughter by negligence. No trial date has been set.
Jemmott was a dedicated public servant and a beloved father of five, who spent his life serving his country, says his sister, Cherry Jemmott.
Hartin reportedly first said Henry Jemmott was killed by a shot fired from a passing boat. She later admitted she fired the shot from the pier – saying it was by accident.
She tells Van Sant that she and Jemmott were drinking before they went to the pier. There, she says, he tried to show her how to load and unload his Glock 17 pistol and magazine, because he wanted her to have a gun for personal protection.
    “He says
‘Can you hand me the magazine from the gun,’” Hartin tells Van Sant. “So, I lean over. I pick up the gun.
I’m trying to get the magazine out. Next thing I know, the gun went off.”
“And did you have a finger on the trigger?” Van Sant asks.
“Not that I thought,” Hartin replies.
“Somehow you must have pulled the trigger,” Van Sant says.
    “I’d
I’m—I don’t know. I – I – I mean, it was an accident, or the gun misfired. But consciously did I pull the trigger? No,” Hartin says.
Hartin says Jemmott fell on top of her.
“And all I could feel is warmth,” Hartin says. “And I later then realized he was bleeding on me.”
Jemmott’s family believes Hartin murdered him.
“My brother was shot behind the ear
execution style,” says Cherry Jemmott, also a police officer.
“Jasmine Hartin should be charged with murder, not manslaughter,” Cherry Jemmott says.
    “People perceive me as being
 a billionairess and this
entitled, spoiled rich girl
and this wild, crazy, party girl that’s hanging from the rafters,” Hartin says. “That’s not it at all. I’m a businesswoman. I’m a mother. I’m a friend
 I’m a wife.”
48 HOURS and Van Sant spent three days with Hartin in Belize reporting on the death of Henry Jemmott and the media frenzy that has surrounded the case. 48 HOURS: “Jasmine Hartin’s Shot in the Dark” is produced by Josh Yager and James Stolz. Lauren A. White and Iris Carreras are field producers. Addison Briley is the associate producer. The editors are Greg Kaplan, Mike Baluzy, Diana Modica and Kevin Dean. Peter Schweitzer is the senior producer. Nancy Kramer is the executive story editor. Judy Tygard is the executive producer.
