Steffy: Mm-hm. Gotta rest up for mommy and daddy time.
Finn: How long until liam gets here?
Steffy: Ah ha… any time now. Hope’s coming, too.
Finn: Ooh, maybe they’ll hit some traffic.
Steffy: Maybe or they could be walking in right now.

Finn: Just when things were getting good.
Steffy: We can pick this up later.

Steffy: Hi.
Liam: What’s goin’ on here?

Hope: We interrupting anything?
Steffy: No, no, you came at the right time.
Brooke: You’ve been quiet since we left the restaurant.
Donna: Brunch with my sisters usually cheers me up.
Brooke: Seems like it had the opposite effect.
Donna: No, it’s just um… you know, katie was talking about confronting carter. Defending eric like that. I want to do that too. Eric needs all of our support.
Eric: Did I hear my name?

Carter: Sorry we had to rush back here.
Katie: That’s fine. I had no idea it was gonna take us so long to get our food.
Carter: Yeah, have to do lunch and work at the same time.
Katie: Yeah, you know um, I can give you some utensils if you want to take your lunch back to your office.
Carter: Or we can eat together if that’s all right with you.

Deacon: Stupid waste…
Sheila: Would you stop? You’re grumbling. I told you lunch is on me.
Deacon: Look, you’ve already given me a place to stay. I don’t want to owe you for anything else.
Sheila: I think what you really meant to say right there is, “thank you, sheila.”
Deacon: Thank you, sheila. I am grateful, okay? But you’ve done enough. I think it’s time for me to leave L.A.. looked, I listened to everything you had to say but there’s no sense in sticking around here for something that’s never gonna happen. I wanna see my daughter, but hope’s family, they are never gonna let us be close.
Carter: Katie, these projections are right on the money.
Katie: Well, business 101: Never over-promise.
Carter: Ah, set attainable goals. I can use a lesson in that.
Katie: You know, carter, if I had known how you really feel, I never would have come down on you so hard about quinn.
Carter: And I shouldn’t have made conclusions about you. But we did have a great conversation, though.
Katie: Yeah, you know, once we got the yelling out of the way.
Carter: Yeah, well I did deserve to be yelled at. You care about eric a lot.

Carter: Me too. Even if my involvement with his wife makes that hard to believe.

Eric: I’m well aware how you feel about my marriage to quinn.
Donna: No, it’s not that, it’s just, um… we’re concerned about you. Are you happy, eric?
Eric: Donna, I love how much you and your sisters care about me. I’m very lucky to have so many people looking out for me. Thank you.
Charlie: Uh… ahem. Cough. Sorry to interrupt, boss. But– pammy’s on another call but she wanted me to remind you you have a meeting in the cutting room.
Eric: Aha. Thank you. Thanks, charlie. Thank you. Well, I won’t keep them waiting.
Steffy: Kelly should be up from her nap soon.
Finn: Yeah, she didn’t want to close her eyes, she was so excited about today.
Steffy: Finn told kelly the sooner she fell asleep, the sooner she’d be able to wake up and get to hang out with her mommy and daddy. She’s really excited.
Liam: Oh, good move.
Finn: Yeah, thanks man. Okay. I’m– I should get going.

Carter: I’m not making excuses but I want to be clear. When I fell for quinn, my relationship with zoe had uh… it went down in flames and I don’t think I realized how devastated I was.
Katie: Rebounding with eric’s wife might have been a little extreme.
Carter: It was very extreme. Still, there was this intense connection. That’s why I asked her to run away with me.
Katie: It’s hard putting your faith in someone that you can’t rely on.

Steffy: Actually, when hayes& wakes up, we should go down to the beach and have a picnic.
Liam: That is not a bad idea. Yeah. Although, that doesn’t give me much time to redeem myself so shuffle up mom. I’m going to show you what’s what.
Steffy: I don’t know about that. Daddy has no idea what he’s doing.

Sheila: No, no, we were screw ups. My son loves me. He put my grandson in my arms. And if it weren’t for steffy and that horrible, unforgiving family, I’d be sitting here having lunch with him right now. I’m not gonna let anyone keep me from my son or my grandson because we’re family and I will never give up on being a part of his life.
Deacon: Good luck with that.
Sheila: Woah-woah-woah-woah! Where are you going?
Deacon: I told you. I’m out of here.

Katie: I’m gonna tell you something. And I haven’t said this to anyone. I haven’t told even my sisters. I haven’t even really said it out loud. I’m not going back to bill. Our relationship is over. I have got to believe that there’s another man out there for me. A better man.
Donna: I am not going to tell eric how I feel about him. He’s married!
Brooke: He’s married to quinn. Donna, eric is the love of your life. And you don’t want to see him hurting this way. You and eric have had some wonderful times together, honey. Good things are worth fighting for. And you and eric, you were very, very good together.
Liam: Is kelly getting hayes ready for the beach?
Steffy: Yep, she is picking out his outfit.
Liam: Oh, my god. Girl’s got fashion in her blood.
Steffy: That is true, but she may end up coming out with like, a ski-suit or something.
Liam: And her mother’s eclectic taste, apparently.
Steffy: And her father’s desire to help with everything.

Steffy: Yeah. This is really wonderful, you know? That we’re able to come together like this. And I know we would do anything for our children.

Katie: Well, don’t take too much time. And don’t waste your time thinking about quinn. It’s not worth it. And stop thinking of yourself as the guy who always gets left behind because it’s not true. Brooke: Eric is down in the cutting room so just go talk to him. Tell him what you told me. Okay, maybe it won’t change anything but at least he’ll know how you feel.
Donna: No, eric and I are friends and I– I… I respect his choices, okay? Even if I don’t agree with them.
Brooke: Even if his choices make him miserable? Oh, come on, donna. He needs to be saved from quinn.
