Taylor: Wow, so… so, brooke signed the papers.

Ridge: Wasn’t easy for her.

Taylor: Oh ridge, it wasn’t easy for you either. I know it was necessary.

Ridge: Yeah, it was. And now it’s done.

Donna: Brooke, why would you agree to that?

Brooke: What was I gonna do, donna? Ridge wants an annulment.

Donna: But you don’T.

Brooke: No, of course, I don’T. It broke my heart. But I’m not going to just stand in his way if that’s really what he wants.

Donna: But is that really what he wants? I know that he still loves you, brooke.

Brooke: I know that too.

Donna: So why? What happened?

Brooke: Thomas happened.

Douglas: Why are you so mad?

Thomas: I don’t like that app. I don’t like that you keep playing with it and every time I turn around, you’re trying to trick people.

Douglas: Because it’s funny. Everyone laughs about it. No one ever gets upset.

Thomas: Okay, look. Come here a sec. This isn’t about whether people are laughing at it or not, okay? This is about the fact that I have asked you to not do something and you keep doing it. It’s disrespectful and it needs to stop. Do you understand?

Douglas: Yes.

[ Taylor sighing ]

Taylor: I know that you’re– you’re processing a lot. And you didn’t tell me that you were doing this today, but I just… how are you feeling? I don’t want you to bottle up how you’re feeling with me.

Ridge: It would be kind of tough to do with the psychiatrist in the house. Not hiding my feelings from you. I won’t, not ever.

Taylor: Not ever, okay. So, what are you feeling?

Ridge: About us?

[ Taylor imitating a buzzer ]

Taylor: No. About what just happened in your life. Brooke.

Ridge: Sadness. It’s a lot of years.

Taylor: I know. You guys have gone through so much together. And I know this is so hard for you, but ridge, you– you did it. Even though I know that part of you can’t believe that– that it’s over with brooke.

Donna: Oh, no. What did thomas do now?

Brooke: I don’t know but ridge implied that ending our marriage has to do with thomas.

Donna: But that doesn’t even make any sense. I mean, what could thomas do to end your marriage?

Brooke: I don’t know. I don’t know, it’s– it’s crazy. He acts as if I should know, as if I’ve done something. And I don’t even know what it is.

Donna: Maybe it’s just that you don’t trust thomas. That you– you never have.

Brooke: Maybe.

Donna: And honestly, I don’t even blame you. You should’ve seen him with douglas today.

Brooke: What do you mean? What happened to douglas? Is he okay?

Donna: No, he’s fine, he’s fine. It’s just, thomas just got really upset with douglas.

Douglas: I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to disobey you.

Thomas: Like you just, you keep playing around with this app and I specifically told you not to. So, what I want you to do is I want you to go upstairs and I want you to delete that thing. I don’t ever want to see or hear it again. Do I make myself clear?

Douglas: Yes.

Thomas: Okay.

Brooke: His father,

thomas forester, is unstable.

He has a knife.

Cps agent: And your name,

ma’am?

Thomas: Brooke logan.

Please hurry.

Brooke’s voice: Brooke logan

please hurry. (Grump) today is a great day to show up for yourself.

Ridge: You know, I– I thought I’d finally figured it out. Figured how to be married. How to– how to– love someone, respect someone. And– and it’s– it’s, I was wrong about all of it.

Taylor: Ridge, are you– are you feeling guilty for leaving brooke to be with me?

Ridge: Do I feel guilty?

Taylor: Yeah.

Ridge: By choosing happiness, by choosing someone who’s not going to lie to me? No.

Taylor: Okay, wait, is that because brooke lied to you?

Ridge: I don’t want to talk about brooke anymore.

Taylor: Ridge…

Ridge: Let’s not. Let’s talk about something else.

Taylor: Okay, what do you want to talk about?

Ridge: What do you want to talk about?

Taylor: This is something good to talk about, right?

Ridge: Kids?

Taylor: Kids.

Ridge: Kids, yeah. Steffy’s doing well.

Taylor: Yeah, she’s good.

Ridge: Thomas is great.

Taylor: He’s so good.

Ridge: We did it.

Taylor: We did it.

Ridge: We put some good citizens into this world.

Taylor: We really did. Teamwork, right?

Ridge: Yeah, partnership.

Taylor: Mm-hmm.

Ridge: There was always magic in our marriage, wasn’t there?

Taylor: Yeah.

Ridge: I gotta go.

Taylor: Oh, no.

Ridge: Yeah.

Taylor: You’re not leaving right now.

Ridge: Stay by your phone. I gotta do something.

Taylor: Stay by my phone?

Ridge: Stay by your phone. I gotta go.

Donna: Look, douglas wasn’t in any danger. I mean, thomas was just a bit intense, and obviously, I wouldn’t have left otherwise if I thought so.

Brooke: Okay. Okay, well, I guess that’s reassuring. But what was the issue? Why was thomas so upset?

Donna: There’s– there’s this app that he’s–

Brooke: App?

Thomas: Hey, brooke. Oh, donna, I didn’t know you were here.

Donna: Uh, thomas. Hey, ah so did you and um, douglas figure everything out?

Thomas: Yeah. You know, just kids being kids, trying to push the limits. And sometimes you gotta lay down the law.

Brooke: It’s true. Well, if you’re here to see hope, she’s actually not here, so.

Thomas: No, actually, I wanted to see you alone, if possible.

Brooke: Oh. Oh, yeah. Okay.

Donna: You cool? Yeah. You know, I have to just get to work anyway, so I’ll call you soon. I love you so much, sis.

Brooke: I love you.

Donna: Thomas.

Thomas: Donna. See you at the house.

Donna: Yeah. See you at the house.

Brooke: So, I guess you know about the annulment, right? So you just came to gloat?

Thomas: No, no, I don’t want to gloat or rub your face in it. I mean, it is nice to see the good guys win.

Brooke: The good guys. Really? Okay, this isn’t about good or bad and I’m not some villain in your mother’s story.

Thomas: I mean, you kind of are.

Brooke: Like, if you came here to–

Thomas: You know what brooke? The reason that I came here was to just say, my dad has moved on. I mean, you know that he’s moved on from you, and he’s with my mother, and they’re very happy together, and they’re in love. And you’ve done the thing that you usually do, which is go back to him and try to plead your case, right? You did that in aspen. Just don’t do it again. All right? It’s really over now, and it should’ve been done years ago.

Brooke: It should’ve been done. What does that mean? Should’ve been done?

Douglas: Restore deleted files? Oh, man, really? Okay, let’s see what we’ve got.

Hey, honey bear. Okay, so that means this next one should be donna.

Donna: Hey, honey bear.

Douglas: Yes, they’re back. Okay, I’ve got to find that one of granddad.

Brooke: Hello.

I’d like to report a child

in danger.

His name is douglas forrester.

Hello is friendly…

Taylor: Okay, ridge. Come on. What are you doing? What? What are you talking about?

Brooke: Did you do something, thomas?

Thomas: No. What– what I mean is that my dad should have done this years ago, right? And he finally figured you out at least and moved on. He found my mother again and they’re very happy together. And they’re probably gonna get married.

Brooke: Because of you. Something you did.

Thomas: Of course, it’s something I did. It couldn’t ever be the fact that maybe he prefers my mother. You– from day one, you have just hated me. It’s like you never ever were on my side. You were never kind or supportive of me at all.

Brooke: Are you kidding me? I was there. I helped raise you. I was kind. I was supportive. It’s just been hard to support you these last few years because of some of the things that you’ve done.

Thomas: Hard to support me? You literally have never supported me once in the last couple of years. And if you had, then maybe I could’ve supported you and things would be different.

Brooke: Wow. I just don’t trust you.

Thomas: You know what? That’s fine. You never have trusted me. And you don’t need to trust me ’cause I don’t need your trust. I need my– my parents, I need my son. I need hope’s trust. But I don’t need yours.

Brooke: Yeah, well, if they do trust you, that could cause a lot of potential harm to people. I don’t care what you do to me. Just don’t you dare hurt my daughter or your sweet, loving son. I’m telling you, thomas, don’t you dare put douglas in danger ever again.

Brooke’s voice: His father,

thomas forester, is unstable.

He has a knife.

Brooke logan, please hurry.

Douglas: Why would grandma? She used my app?

Thomas: Hello.

I’d like to report a child

in danger.

His name is douglas forester.

He’s at 369 willow hill road,

los angeles, california.

His father, thomas forester,

is unstable.

He has a knife.

Douglas: Wait, does this mean…

Thomas: Brooke logan,

please hurry.

Douglas: Dad called cps on himself? Dupixent helps you du more with less asthma.

Taylor: Ridge. Ridge? Are you in here?

Ridge: Hey, doc.

Taylor: Hey, what are you doing?

Ridge: Can I ask you something?

Taylor: Yeah.

Ridge: Do you remember being in this room many years ago? Sharing a great triumph with me.

Taylor: Oh. Yes. Yes, I do.

Ridge: Walking down the runway? Showstopper. Looking absolutely beautiful and luminous? It seems to me that we have an opportunity to pick up right where we left off.

Taylor: Uh, what do you… um. Ridge… yes. Yes, yes, yes! Yes, yes, yes, yes!

Thomas: His father,

thomas forrester is unstable.

He has a knife. Hey, bud. What’s with the guilty look? You deleted the app like I said, right?

Douglas: I started to, I did. But I wanted to hear the recordings just one last time.

Thomas: Recordings? I mean, you said they were all lost in some kind of glitch.

Douglas: Turns out you can restore them.

Thomas: I doubt that. You know, I don’t think donna really knows what she’s talking about.

Douglas: You can. It’s super easy.

Thomas: Well, you did it? You got all the files back?

Douglas: Yeah, got all of them back. All of mine. Even some others.

Thomas: Others?

Douglas: There was this one was grandma brooke’s voice. Remember when those people came asking all kinds of questions? Must be why they were here. Because of that recording.

Thomas: Yeah. You know what, bud? Sadly, your grandma brooke called C.P.S. On me. She doesn’t want us together. And that’s– that’s– that’s sad but I don’t, honestly, I don’t want you thinking about that. And I don’t even know how it got on your phone. It must’ve been some kind of mistake.

Douglas: I think it was on purpose. I think it got erased on purpose too.

Thomas: You know what? It doesn’t really matter, though, because you’re going to delete the app, right?

Douglas: I’m not a dummy, dad. Grandma brooke’s call, that was the processed voice, not the original.

Thomas: I– I don’t really think you know what you’re talking about here, bud.

Douglas: Yes, I do. I heard it. I heard you. You made that call in her voice. You did it so granddad would get mad and want to be with grandma taylor instead. Admit it.

Thomas: You know what, kid? You’re right. I called C.P.S. And you want to know why? Because your grandma brooke, she’s threatened to do it. Right before I did. She doesn’t want us together. She doesn’t want us living in the same home. And I’m not okay with that. I’m not going to allow that. And you don’t know how much happier your grandfather is with grandma taylor?

Douglas: No, but I know when something’s wrong.

Thomas: Exactly. And it would’ve been wrong for your grandfather to spend any more time with brooke.

Douglas: No, I was talking about you. What you did was wrong, dad. Reminds me of when we found out baby beth was alive. How you kept it from everyone?

Thomas: It’s not the same, douglas. And it’s not going to end the same either.
