Update written by Shane

At the Quartermaine gatehouse, Michael told Willow that he thought that people should know about her diagnosis, but Willow stubbornly argued that she wanted to do things her way. Michael reminded her that she had just fainted, but she blamed the whole thing on Nina. She went even further to blame Sonny for supporting Nina because she knew this would distract Michael. Willow thought that Michael’s anger with Sonny was only hurting him. Michael insisted that his primary focus was on Willow and helping her to fight her cancer, but Willow believed otherwise.

At Dex’s place, Dex told Josslyn that he had been trying to do the right thing, and she told him she wanted honesty. He grabbed her and began to kiss her until they were interrupted by a knock at the door. It was Sonny, who called out that he knew that Dex was home. Joss and Dex tried to come up with a plan, and finally Joss hid and Dex opened the door. Sonny barged in and Dex said that he was in the middle of something. He suggested that he and Sonny meet at Sonny’s office instead, which only made Sonny want to know what was going on there at his apartment.  “Why do you want to get rid of me?”  Sonny said.

As Josslyn hid, Sonny interrogated Dex about everything that had happened after he was shot. Sonny suspected that Dex was hiding something. Dex tried to explain that he had located a secure spot on the Quartermaine grounds where someone had taken care of him. He refused to divulge the person’s name, but Sonny insisted that he tell him. Before Sonny could press Dex anymore, Josslyn emerged and said, “It was me.”  She told Sonny it had been her who had helped Dex but pointedly did not say where she had found Dex. Sonny was less than pleased that Josslyn had become involved in what could be a criminal matter. Dex asked her to go, but Josslyn went off on Sonny before leaving. She told Sonny that he was a pathetic person for completely disregarding Dex’s health because he was too focused on whether a trail of evidence could lead back to him.  She didn’t understand why Dex remained loyal to Sonny when the last thing Sonny would do was exercise any loyalty to Dex in return.  Sonny offered to take her home but she refused.

After Josslyn had gone, Sonny was livid. Dex stated that he hadn’t planned to run into Josslyn on the evening of the prison transport, but she had found him on the grounds of the boathouse. He added that later, she had taken him to her dorm. “Big mistake, Dex,” Sonny yelled. Dex insisted that he would never have involved Josslyn had he been in his right mind.  Sonny asked if he was delirious and Dex replied that he had been shot so he definitely was delirious and in shock.

Sonny said that he had come there to offer Dex a job which would be a significant promotion in his organization.  But, Sonny wondered if he had made a mistake thinking that Dex was ready for it. He outlined the possibility of his facilities being used for unofficial exports. Dex replied that he was up for it.  Sonny implied this would be Dex’s last chance to prove himself and said there was “no more room for mistakes.”

Shortly after, Michael showed up, and Dex revealed that Sonny had just been there. Michael offered an envelope to Dex that he said was his severance pay and Michael asked Dex how quickly he could pack and leave town. Dex told him about the upcoming illegal activity that would be occurring in Sonny’s facilities. Dex maintained that there would never be a better opportunity to take Sonny down than the upcoming shipments that would be moving through Port Charles.

Robert stared at a photo of himself and Holly as he sat in his office. There was a knock at the door, it was Olivia.  She said she wanted to check in on him and offer her sympathies for Holly being ripped out of his life again right after he she had reemerged after years. Robert divulged that Holly had a long road ahead of her in recovery, but she would pull through. Olivia was more concerned that Holly had betrayed Robert. Olivia didn’t think that Robert would ever be able to trust Holly again and Robert admitted he had some very difficult decisions ahead.

As Cody stepped off the elevator at General Hospital, he received a message that Mac wanted to see him at the Metro Court bar. Nearby, Britt and Austin were speaking about her birthday party that she was planning for herself because she had never had one. Cody asked if he would be invited. Britt glared at him and sarcastically suggested that he concentrating on playing the field. The two argued, and finally, Britt told him they had no future and she walked away with Austin.

Heading into Britt’s office, Austin wanted to know what had just happened, but Britt didn’t want to discuss it. She said that she wanted her party to be on the Haunted Star because she didn’t know how many birthdays she had left. Austin pointed out that this would not be Britt’s last birthday, and she told him that she was so angry about her condition. She fumed that she had the curse of being Faison’s daughter had also brought her this disease. Britt said that she didn’t fear death but that she did fear “being a burden” to others.

Austin accepted Britt’s invite for himself and said that Maxie would be his plus one for Britt’s party.  Britt explained that she would be leaving Port Charles right after the party in order to protect her privacy. Austin mentioned the exchange with Cody but Britt refused to speak about it.  She said that she was sparing people having to deal with a condition that would rob her of her ability to care for herself in a matter of years, possibly even months.  Austin said she actually wasn’t sparing people, she was being selfish.  Britt was furious with his choice of words and Austin quickly backpedaled.  Austin said that he shouldn’t have used the word “selfish,” that was too harsh.  He said that she was being too proud.  He told about his own father, who had avoided conversations that were uncomfortable, and then by the time he was ready to broach the subject, it was too late.  He said that Britt was making decisions for people in her life that they should be allowed to make for themselves.  He then joked about what the dress code would be to lighten the moment which had gotten extremely heavy.  Britt playfully joked back and told Austin to have Maxie pick out his outfit.

Drew stopped at Carly’s house to let her know that one of his contacts had found a friend of Harmony’s from the Peace and Love Commune, a female firefighter named Denise McKenzie.  He hoped she would be able to fill in some of the dots on how Harmony had “adopted” Willow. Carly hoped that Drew wouldn’t be disappointed, but she stopped him from calling Willow to give her the news. Carly told Drew about Willow’s fainting and suggested that he talk to Denise first. He mentioned how so many people had lied to Willow in the past. Carly was distracted as she realized she was one of those people as well, and she told Drew about Nina’s spreading the lies about Carly having an affair with Brick. She admitted that it had been the reason for her telling Sonny about her and Drew. As they shared a kiss, Josslyn walked in, and she recalled Dex’s kiss in her mind. Carly said she was looking forward to when she no longer had to hide kissing Drew. “I hear ya,” Josslyn replied, thinking of her feelings for Dex, which she also has to keep on the down-low.

Later, after Drew and Josslyn had left, Carly phoned Olivia to ask for a favor. She wanted to know immediately when Denise McKenzie checked into the Metro Court.

Mac, Felicia, and Laura sat at a table at the Metro Court. restaurant. Mac suspected that Robert was brooding in his office. Valentin stopped, and Laura informed him that Holly was “holding her own.” Mac accused the Cassadine family of being behind all that had transpired, especially where the Ice Princess was concerned. “Where there’s trouble, there’s Victor,” Mac said.

Valentin told Mac not to assume where Valentin’s loyalties lie, but Mac warned him not to be too close because Victor would be going down. Felicia and Laura exchanged glances. Mac left, and Valentin sat down. Laura noted that Robert had suspected Holly of passing information to Victor because no one had been able to reach Ethan. Valentin thought that he could help, but Felicia quickly shouted out for him not to do that. She stated that everything was not as it seemed, and she suggested that Laura talk to Robert. Laura invited Valentin to get in touch with her for dinner, and she left.

Valentin thought that his contacts could help in locating Ethan. Felicia admitted that Lucy was also a hostage of Victor’s after Valentin guessed, and she told him what had been suspected of happening at the pier the day that Lucy had disappeared. Valentin demanded to know where Anna was, as she needed to know. Felicia wrote down a name on a piece of paper and handed it to Valentin. She told him that the person would know how to get in touch with Anna. Valentin opened the paper, and his eyes widened. He ripped the paper and dunked it into his drink. Felicia told him it wouldn’t be easy.

Nearby, Mac met with Cody at the bar and bought him a drink. Mac divulged that the necklace was missing and presumed destroyed in the fire. Cody couldn’t believe that he’d lost another inheritance, and he told Mac a story about breaking in a wild mustang before getting tossed onto the ground with both a broken wrist and pride. He said that he was back to having nothing, and he wondered about always making wrong choices. Mac told him that money wasn’t everything, and Cody was not the same man as his father, whose only good had been to provide Cody with an inheritance.

Cody was about to say something, but Felicia interrupted and said that she wanted to leave. Cody remarked that the DNA test result had been his loss. “Ours, too,” Mac replied.

As Robert sat and stared at the necklace in his office, there was another knock on his door. It was Laura.  She told Robert that Victor had to be brought down and they needed to redouble their efforts.

Drew visited with Willow to make certain that she was behind him one hundred percent in his search for her family. He hoped he wouldn’t disappoint her. Willow confirmed that she wanted the answers and was 100% in support of his efforts.

Update written by Shane

Sonny and Nina spoke on the phone and Nina told him how Donna was doing as she was clearly playing babysitter. Sonny said  they could discuss his day when he got home. Nina tells Sonny that Donna is having an early dinner in the kitchen, but that she had ordered a gourmet dinner for two from the Metro Court for them to enjoy.

At that moment, the doorbell rang and Nina announced that the catering guys were early, she opened the door to reveal Josslyn standing there.  Josslyn was none to happy to see Nina and said that she didn’t believe that Nina was supposed to be around Donna at all.  Nina took pleasure in telling Josslyn that she was operating off of dated information.  Sonny and Carly had spoken and they had come to a new understanding.  Josslyn said that she would be sure to verify this with her mother as soon as she made it home.  She told Nina she would wait for Donna to finish dinner but then she would be leaving.

Nina told Josslyn about the drama at Willow’s house. Josslyn instantly blamed Nina for the whole sordid affair and said that “only Nina would pick an argument with a pregnant woman.”  Nina denied picking a fight with Willow and she added that she and Carly had put aside their differences to revive Willow and to talk about what was in her best interests.  Nina said that if she and Carly could put aside their differences that she didn’t understand why she and Josslyn could not do the same. Josslyn refused to even discuss the subject.  When Nina asked Josslyn how Cameron was doing, Josslyn flashed back to a moment with Dex, when she finally came out of it, she screamed at Nina that she was nothing like her.

At Pozzulo’s, Dex walked in to Sonny’s office.  Sonny asked Dex what was more important to him, working for him or spending time with Josslyn. Dex looked floored.

At the Port Charles Grille, it was difficult for Spencer to hear Rory proclaiming his love for Trina.  But, he then gives her a box of perfume called L’Amor. But Trina’s eyes were all on Spencer as she couldn’t believe he was even there, as he stood behind Rory. He explained that he used his Cassadine connections to get out of jail early and then sat down with Trina as soon as Rory got a call from Jordan and left the table.

Spencer sits down at the table and asks Trina if they can start over, and Trina could not say yes. Instead, she went on and on about how it’s not possible for them anymore. Spencer sadly had to say he guessed what happened between them in the past had consequences. Trina then tried to backtrack and tell him he misunderstood what was going on with Rory.

Later, a rejected Spencer tried to throw out the two turtle doves, but Victor kept them for safekeeping.

Finn told Elizabeth that he was sure that Esme was on Spoon Island and Nikolas was definitely hiding something. Why else would Esme have been on the pier with the launch the night Liz tried to go there? Liz was stunned to hear that Finn even made his way to Wyndemere to look for Esme, but she was relieved that Nikolas managed to cover up their elaborate ruse.

Liz tried to talk Finn out of going back to Spoon Island, so he tried to drag Elizabeth to see Jordan instead so they could tell the commissioner his suspicions. When he went back into his office to get what Liz left there, he noticed the bottle she was carrying was prenatal vitamins — the same ones he saw at Wyndemere. Finn then asked Elizabeth if she was pregnant.

Over at Spring Ridge, Heather and Ryan caught up, and we learned that they met one night in the woods when Heather saw this handsome man chopping down wood with an ax. They called themselves Hazel and Richard and had a glorious time in this cabin many years ago. Heather told Ryan that she knew he was faking the catatonic state, so he came clean and just started talking, telling her she left him with no word and broke his heart.

Heather then slapped him across the face for setting her son Franco up to take the fall for his last round of serial killings but mentioned how they made a good team, and she owes him one. Ryan said she owes him two because he later learned that Hazel was pregnant when she left Richie all those years ago. Heather looked like she had seen a ghost.

In his office, Sonny gave Dex a whole speech about how he started off in the mob business.  He told Dex that when he first got in the business he was ordered to take care of someone and he was arrogant, naive and sloppy and he left a trail that could have easily been traced back to him or to his boss.  Dex wanted to know how he was able to continue after that situation.  Sonny said that he had a guardian angel and Dex said that he was lucky.  Sonny snapped, “luck will only get you so far.”  Dex told Sonny that he was smart and a fast learner and could adapt quickly.  Sonny told him he believed that was true. But, he cautioned Dex as he opened his desk drawer to reveal a new gun. You have to know when to keep the safety on a gun or when to take it off. He then handed Dex the shiny, new gun and told Dex that he would be accompanying him to a meeting. It turned out this meeting was with Nina at his place for dinner, but when Dex saw Joss there, he tried to get out of staying. He quickly asked Sonny if he could skip dinner because he wasn’t really that hungry.  Sonny said that was fine and Dex left.

Sonny then asked Nina if Josslyn had been at the penthouse long and she said they had been talking for a while.  Sonny said that he didn’t see any broken glass so he was curious what they had been talking about.  Nina laughed and said that Josslyn clearly had other things on her mind.

Update written by Shane

In Ireland, Anna and Valentin are reunited at an acquaintance’s house where Anna is staying.  Valentine arrives and calls out for Tiffany.  “Tiffany are you here?”  The second time he asks Anna says hello stranger and slides her hand down the back of his neck.  The moment is ruined quickly when Anna and Valentin answer the door to find Martin. He admits hacking into Valentin’s personal information in the hopes that he would lead him to Lucy’s killer. Anna again insists that she did not kill Lucy. Martin finally admits that he is beginning to believe her. He assumes that they are looking for the real killer and he wants to help them in any way he can.

There’s another firm knock at the door and someone screams, “U.S. Marshals, open up!”  Agent Whitten stands at the front door, he has followed Martin to Ireland.

Martin answers the door, and Whitten barges in without a warrant and demands to know where Anna is. Martin has no idea, so Whitten asks what he’s doing here. Martin explains he came here to be alone and grieve Lucy’s passing. Whitten demands his agents search the house. Martin tells them no one is searching anything until he sees a warrant. When he finds out they have no warrant, he suggests they wait outside because he didn’t give them permission to enter. The agents leave, but Whitten stays and tells Martin that standing in his way is a bad move, and orders him to tell him where Anna is. He places his hand on his gun, and Martin scoffs that he can’t shoot an unarmed man. Valentin appears and tells Whitten to stop, and that Martin followed him knowing he was looking for Anna, but she’s not here. Whitten refuses to believe that. At that point, Anna puts a gun to Whitten’s back and orders him to take his hand off his gun.

Whitten says they won’t get away with this. Anna disagrees and knocks the agent out with a blow to his head. Later, Martin calls for help, and the other agents burst in, and Martin explains Whitten just collapsed. Meanwhile, Valentin and Anna escape thanks to Martin’s diversion. Back at the house, Whitten regains consciousness and demands Martin be arrested.

At Wyndemere, Victor thinks with Spencer home the Cassadine’s should host a huge Christmas dinner to celebrate.  Spencer asks Victor to wait with the large scale plans because his father has even said whether or not he wants him there.  Nikolas says that in fact he is not ready for Spencer to live there with him at Wyndemere.  He says that their relationship is too volatile and that they can’t be in the same room without Spencer going for his throat. Nikolas explains his long term goal is to save their relationship, and they must maintain some distance for the time being. Victor reminds Nikolas that he has to watch over Spencer per his release conditions, so Nikolas says Victor will have to leave too. He suggests they get a room at the Metro Court. Victor calms Spencer down and suggests they go to the Port Charles Grill for dinner. Victor and Spencer leave, and Nikolas clears a table in the hallway of its contents, smashing everything to the floor and screams, “Damn you, Esme!”

At the Port Charles Grill, Rory and Trina enjoy a three-month anniversary dinner. He asks her about her work at the museum, and she tells him about a new exhibit she’s working on. She asks what he’s doing on Christmas. He has to work in the morning and spends the afternoon with his family. He asks if she’d like to come with him. She’s a bit surprised that he wants her to meet his parents, but she agrees.

Dessert eventually arrives and they share it. Trina tells Rory that he makes her feel so special. Rory tells her she is exceptional, and that he loves her. Trina looks shocked, as does Spencer who has just entered the restaurant and heard Rory confess his love for Trina.

At Spring Ridge, Jordan and Ava, question Ryan. Jordan is curious about what Esme said to him when she visited him into his room at General Hospital. Ryan communicates through blinking, the letter board and his caretaker that they were close, and she was worried about him. When asked if Esme is capable of murder, Ryan answers yes.

Jordan shows him the letter the Hook killer penned to the paper and asks if Esme could have written it. He says no. Ryan explains the killer wrote the letter, but it’s not Esme. The killer used the words me and mine, and Ryan says that Esme has no one. Ryan also wonders why Ava is wearing her wedding ring when it’s obvious she and Nikolas are over. Ava asks how he knows that. The caretaker explains Ryan follows the news and gossip columns. Ryan wants Ava to come back to him. Ava tells Ryan that her marriage is none of his business.

Sonny visits Heather and asks her what she knows about Dex.  Heather describes Dex down to the last detail and says if she saw him again she could easily point him out.  “That’s unfortunate,” Sonny says. Sonny tells Heather that Sonny tells Heather it would be wise for her to forget everything she knows. He threatens her and tells her that even in minimum security prisons horrible things can happen. He tells her to take care of herself as he leaves her cell.

Later, Sonny joins Jordan and Ava, in the common room as they question Ryan.  Ava tells Sonny she is participating with the PCPD to try and profile the Hook killer.  Sonny asks Jordan if she believes that Esme is the killer.  Jordan, who had once been operating under the theory that Esme was the principal suspect now doesn’t seem so sure.

Sonny notices that Ava seems jumpy and before he leaves he tells Ava that if she is going to participate with the PCPD to draw up this profile, she needs to find a way to keep Ryan out of her head. Ava confesses it’s not just that, she tells Sonny that she and Nikolas are having problems.  Sonny tells Ava she needs to ditch Nikolas for good.  Sonny says he is nothing but bad news.  He then leaves her to think about what he has said.

Later, back in his cell, Ryan is visited by Heather, who refers to him as “lover.”

Update written by Shane

At General Hospital, Portia informed Stella that everything looked good on her annual checkup. Marshall was with Stella, and Portia took the opportunity to ask (in front of Stella) if he had given more thought to genetic counseling. Marshall tried to reassure Portia that he didn’t need a reevaluation and that he was at peace. Marshall politely asked Portia to respect his wishes.  Stella too agreed that Portia should respect Marshall’s privacy.

In Jordan’s office at the PCPD, Curtis hand delivered an invitation to his and Portia’s wedding. Curtis grew angry when Jordan said she couldn’t “protect” Curtis’ family.  A poor choice of words from Jordan because it left Curtis believing she was speaking about the Hook killer and Trina, when she was actually speaking of Trina’s true paternity.  Curtis yelled at Jordan, and he accused her of keeping secrets from him again. Rory entered to provide Jordan with reports, including one for her to sign off on which detailed police plans for the city on Christmas Eve. A furious Curtis left as Jordan would not give him any details on what she had meant by her comments. On Curtis’ way out, he told Jordan not to forget to RSVP to the wedding. Later, Jordan stared at the invitation for a long time before she eventually used a pen to check the box marked “regretfully declines.”

At Rice Plaza, Ava took Trina shopping. Rory appeared, and Ava left them alone for a moment. Rory asked Trina to go with him to a nice dinner for their three-month anniversary, which Trina seemed to have forgotten.

Trina thanked Rory for having always believed in her innocence, and they finalized plans for dinner. Rory left, and Ava and Trina picked up their conversation where they had left off. Ava asked Trina to tell her what was on her mind, and Trina admitted that she hadn’t been able to stop thinking about Spencer. Ava remarked that Spencer was still weeks away from being released from Pentonville and that Trina could use that time to prioritize and take stock of her life and what she wanted from it. Ava said she envied Trina. Ava said that having a man who worked an honest job was a blessing.  She added that complicated men create nothing but chaos. Ava thought it was best if she and Trina avoided those kinds of men altogether. The two parted ways.

Also at Rice Plaza, Eileen had whispered to Victor that the necklace had been destroyed. Victor reminded Eileen that her primary function was to keep Laura distracted, and Eileen replied that she had pulled the necessary strings.

Victor walked away, and struck up a conversation with Ava. The two talked about love, and Ava accused Victor of having never experienced true love. Victor said that when Ava was free from Nikolas, perhaps there would be hope for Victor and Ava. Ava pointedly reminded Victor that her marriage to Nikolas wasn’t over, and she asked what Victor would use to hold over Nikolas’ head, since Esme was still alive. Victor remarked that he wouldn’t need to coerce Nikolas into a divorce because Nikolas was already showing signs of moving on.

At Pentonville, Cyrus noted that Spencer had kept his distance since Victor’s visit. Spencer naively said that Cyrus had been out of line for having suggested that Victor was responsible for the attempt on Laura and Martin’s lives, and he defended Victor.

Cyrus hoped that his friendship with Spencer would continue after Spencer was released. Cyrus then produced a ring-sized box, and slid it across the table. Spencer said that he was uncomfortable taking a gift from Cyrus, who revealed that the gift was for Trina. It was a pair of white, turtle doves.

Spencer said that Trina would love them. However, he thought that he had caused Trina enough pain and had decided to stay away from Trina forever. Cyrus encouraged Spencer to take the gift and for Spencer to follow his heart. Just then, Victor entered the room, and he scowled at Cyrus. Cyrus started to leave, but Victor asked him to stay to hear what he had to say. “I have some news about my great-nephew’s future,” Victor exclaimed.

Elsewhere at Rice Plaza, Alexis tried to get Finn to open up to her about where things stood between him and Elizabeth. Finn informed Alexis that the man Reiko had an affair with had been Elizabeth’s father.  Alexis asked Finn to tell her more and asked where that left Finn and Elizabeth.  But, Finn did not answer her inquiries.

Their talk then turned to Alexis’ coverage of the Hook killer, and Alexis said that while it was not at all abnormal for Elizabeth to be on the pier waiting for a launch to Wyndemere, she couldn’t understand why Esme had been spotted there.  She wondered aloud what Esme had been doing there and why she hadn’t been seen since.  Finn said that he knew there was a history between Elizabeth and Nikolas and that Elizabeth trusted him.  But, Finn made it clear that he did not trust him and couldn’t stand the fact that Elizabeth did.

At Wyndemere, Nikolas had phoned Elizabeth to check on Esme. Elizabeth was worried when she found Esme “unconscious” on the bed after learning that Esme’s prenatal vitamins had all disappeared. Elizabeth and Nikolas thought that Esme might have swallowed the entire bottle of vitamins, and Elizabeth said that if that were true, Esme’s stomach would need to be pumped. Esme jumped up, and screamed at Elizabeth to stay away from her.

Esme said she had thrown the bottle of vitamins away, but not before she had taken one. Elizabeth took that as a sign that Esme cared about the baby. Esme swore that she wasn’t the Hook killer, and she told Elizabeth to ask Nikolas what had really happened on the night Esme had gone over the parapet. Esme implored Elizabeth to ask how Ava was involved as well.

Elizabeth wanted to know what she meant but Nikolas convinced her to return to General Hospital to get more prenatal vitamins.  Nikolas assured Elizabeth he would explain everything later.  Elizabeth left and Nikolas glared at Esme.  “That was a mistake.”

Nikolas wanted to know what Esme wanted.  Esme said that she wanted a Christmas tree, a real one, and that she wanted to pick it out from the Spoon Island grounds.  Nikolas scoffed and left the room, coldly. Once downstairs, Nikolas heard a knock at the door. Nikolas opened the door. Finn was there waiting.

At Spring Ridge, Heather was stunned that Jeff had come to visit her. Jeff told Heather to stay away from his family, and he mentioned Heather’s run-in with Cameron at Kelly’s. Heather said that Jeff didn’t care about his family, and never had.

Just then, Ryan was wheeled into the room. Jeff glanced at Ryan, and he asked if Ryan was who Jeff thought he was. “The one and only,” Heather remarked. Jeff again warned Heather to stay clear of his family, and he started to leave when Heather reached for his hand. Jeff seemed repulsed by Heather and left.

After Jeff left, Heather approached Ryan. “If you could speak, I imagine we’d have quite a lot to discuss,” Heather told Ryan, who blinked his eyes once in response. After Heather walked away, Ryan made a fist.

Update written by Shane

Dante arrived at Pozzulo’s and knocked on Sonny’s office door. Sonny ended a call with Brick, and Dante thanked him for Thanksgiving dinner. Dante admitted that Michael had been right about Sonny having Dex abducted and beaten, and he admitted that he’d covered for Sonny. Dante said that the line between his love for his father and his duty as a cop was starting to blur, as he would have pursued Dex’s case more aggressively if the suspect had been anyone else. He added that he needed Sonny to know that he was aware what Sonny had done. Sonny didn’t see the problem because he had never asked Dante to cover for him and said that he never would.

Dante wanted to know about Sonny’s involvement in Anna’s escape. Sonny didn’t have a response to that question and Dante hoped that Sonny had been very careful. Dante said that he wasn’t out to get Sonny (like his brother Michael) but he intended to keep his oath to uphold the law. “I wouldn’t expect any less,” Sonny said. Sonny wanted Dante to know that no matter what happened in the future he wouldn’t love Dante any less.  Dante told Sonny that he loved him and then gave him a hug.  Dante then left.

At Dex’s apartment, Josslyn dressed Dex’s wound in fresh bandages and said that it was healing well. When she was done she told him he could put a shirt on. He apologized and remarked that he hadn’t noticed that it made her uncomfortable.  She had, after all, seen him in less. “You’ve even slept in my bed,” she replied. Dex said it was a shame that he had been so feverish that all he could do was sleep. “There’s always next time,” Josslyn joked. She advised him to take it easy and limit his activity, as she’d done some research on gun shot wounds. She promised not to bail on him before he was fully healed. Dex recalled his conversation with Michael about keeping Josslyn at a distance, and he told her that she needed to leave and never return.

Josslyn said that she needed to get more bandages and antibiotic ointment for Dex, but he insisted that he could order those things online. He said that he was trying to do the right thing, but she demanded honesty. “You want honest?” he asked, and he kissed her. At that moment, there was a knock, it was Sonny, who instructed Dex to open the door.

Drew arrived at Carly’s house, and Michael wondered why Drew had wanted to meet there. Drew confided that he wanted to have a confidential conversation about the potential criminal charges against him and Carly for insider trading. Drew thought that it was best for both he and Michael to reconcile their relationship with Ned. Michael agreed. Drew added that he and Carly needed to stop seeing each other. A surprised Michael admitted that it was the happiest he’d seen his mother in a while. Michael didn’t want to get involved in Carly’s personal life, but he did say that people usually got less time together than they thought they would. Drew wondered if Michael was worried about Sonny retaliating, but Michael replied that the feud with Sonny had made him value his family more. He told Drew to take advantage of the time he had with Carly, and then he left to return home to Willow.

Carly arrived at the Quartermaine gatehouse and found Willow screaming at Nina to leave. Carly entered the house as Willow passed out. Carly and Nina tried to revive Willow. When Willow finally woke up, Nina insisted on calling 911, but Willow refused. Carly asked Nina if they could speak outside and they walked out. Willow apologized to the baby, but she promised to get the baby into the world safely. Outside, Nina told Carly she didn’t want another lecture, as she’d only come by to ask a favor of Willow. Carly said she believed her, but she told Nina that her visit had a terrible effect on Willow and that the best thing for Willow and the baby was for Nina to stay away. Nina insisted that she never wanted to hurt them, and Carly told her she believed her. Nina left and Carly went back into the house with Willow and insisted that Willow see a doctor. A few minutes later, they returned to the living room after Carly had checked Willow’s blood pressure and the baby on the fetal monitor.  Willow appeared to be fine, but Carly pointed out that she was not an obstetrician.

Michael arrived home, and Carly told him that Willow had collapsed. Michael promised his mother that Willow would be seen by a doctor. Carly advised Willow to rest, and she left. Michael messaged Dr. Randolph on his phone. A short while later, Willow thanked Michael for the soup, and she told him Nina had been a factor in her collapse. Michael was furious when Willow told him that Nina had accused her of being selfish. But, Willow assured him that Nina wouldn’t be back. Michael insisted that the entire situation could have been avoided had Nina known that Willow was sick. He told Willow that it was time to tell people about Willow’s leukemia so they could concentrate on finding a bone marrow donor.

Carly arrived home to find Drew there. He kissed her and told her that they needed to take advantage of the time they had together. She reminded him that they were supposed to stay away from each other, but he said that he couldn’t do that. Drew got a notification on his phone and Carly insisted that he check it. He looked at his phone and shared the good news that he’d gotten a lead on Willow’s birth parents. Carly was shocked.

At Rice Plaza, Sasha continued to decorate with Sam’s help. Sam said she hoped that the boys wouldn’t claim to be too old to help decorate. Sasha talked about how magical Christmas was for kids, but then she quickly changed the subject. Sam told her that she didn’t have to do that. Sam told Sasha that she could say whatever she was thinking. Sasha admitted that she was working on acknowledging her feelings in therapy. Sam told Sasha that her first daughter was stillborn.  Sasha was obviously moved and told Sam how sorry she was. She then shared her hopes of taking Liam to see Santa with Brando.

A short while later, Sasha talked about how good it felt to do something useful and positive. “Helping others is a great way to help yourself,” she said happily. After their conversation, Sam departed and Nina returned. Sasha could tell that something had happened, and Nina told her that sometimes she feared that she was just as horrible a person as Willow believed she was.

Dante found Sam at Rice Plaza, and he advised her to pace herself, as they still had to decorate their place. Dante talked about Sonny, and how he hoped that his relationship with Rocco wouldn’t end up as troubled as his relationship with Sonny. Sam told him how much love she saw between Dante and Rocco. He thanked Sam for everything she had done for him, and they kissed.

At Pentonville, Victor spoke to someone on the phone and demanded an update on what had happened to the necklace. He and Nikolas then stepped into the visitation room. Spencer was led in by a guard, and when he saw that Nikolas was there, he demanded to be returned to his cell. Victor insisted that Spencer would need his father’s support once he got out of jail. “Not if you keep your end of the bargain,” Spencer replied. Nikolas demanded to know what that meant and Spencer revealed that he had agreed to keep quiet about Nikolas sleeping with Esme, in exchange for Victor giving him his birthright ahead of schedule. Spencer advised Nikolas that he would no longer need his support.

Nikolas told Spencer that if he would just give him another chance, he would never hurt Spencer again. Spencer replied that he would settle for never having to listen to any more of Nikolas’ empty words. “I told you this was a bad idea,” Nikolas told Victor, and he left. Victor seemed disappointed and demanded Spencer sit down. Spencer didn’t care that Victor was disappointed. He told Victor that while Victor might be “all-powerful on the outside,” inside Pentonville, he had serious competition. As he finished making his point, Cyrus entered and apologized to Spencer for being late to their chess game.

Victor was glad to see that Spencer had made friends, but Cyrus said that he was family. Spencer was grateful for all of his uncles looking out for him, including Sonny and Martin. Victor revealed himself as Spencer’s true, biological uncle. Cyrus, having found the remark to be an insult, revealed that Victor had ordered hits on Martin and Laura, which prompted a shocked response from Spencer. Victor then proceeded to announce all of Cyrus’ crimes.  “I don’t hear you denying it,” Cyrus said. “I don’t answer to you,” Victor hissed. “You will if you ever go near my family again, and that includes Spencer,” Cyrus countered.

Victor told Cyrus to exercise caution as he would not want to have Victor as an enemy. Cyrus asked if that meant that Victor was adding him to the hit list as well. Victor warned Spencer to not allow himself to be manipulated by Cyrus. Spencer advised Victor that he would never allow himself to be manipulated again. Victor reminded Spencer that he still needed Victor’s help and he left. Cyrus apologized that Spencer had to learn of his uncle’s guilt in that way. Spencer said, “could it be more obvious?”  He told Cyrus that he was no longer in the mood for chess, so he excused himself and returned to his cell.

Update written by Shane

At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn greeted Dante and provided him with the letter for the review board. Dante told her that it was too late.  The review board needed her letter by Friday of the previous week.  Brook Lynn was desperate to help Chase and said there must be something that she can do and rushed to get her coat.  Dante said that unless she had connections on the review board there was nothing she could do and even then Chase would not want her using her connections because she would be forced to lie.  Dante explained that Chase would not want his badge returned to him based on lies that were engineered by Brook Lynn.

Brook Lynn came clean to Dante and explained that she had been extremely selfish in her desire to take down Linc, and she had hoped that Chase would have eventually changed his mind and wanted to be a singer more than a cop. She told Dante that Chase had ended their relationship.  Dante appeared sad for her and said that he was sorry.  Brook Lynn said that there was no need for him to lie to save her feelings.  Dante explained that he wasn’t lying and that he thought that Chase had been happy with her. Brook Lynn was surprised when she heard this news.  Later, after Dante left she read the letter aloud she had written for the review board.  She then became angry and threw it across the room.  Suddenly, her emotions seemed to change and she vowed to do whatever was necessary to help Chase be restored to the police force. She made a call to an unknown individual and pleaded for “help.”

.At Rice Plaza, Nina and Sasha carried Christmas decorations to a table. Nina looked around and realized that she and Sasha had been the first to arrive, but Nina was confident the volunteers would be there shortly. Sasha was flattered that Nina had put her in charge of the holiday decorations for the plaza. Sasha assured Nina that she didn’t need her staying around to supervise and said she would not let Nina down. After Nina left, Sasha began to organize things when Chase arrived. Chase was curious what Sasha was up to, so she told him that Nina had put her in charge of transforming the plaza.

Chase thought it had been generous of Sasha to take on the project, but Sasha confessed that it helped her to stay busy, since the guardianship limited what she could do at Deception. Sasha invited Chase to help, and he took her up on the offer. He admitted that he needed something to focus on because he had broken up with Brook Lynn. Sasha felt bad for Chase, and offered to listen if he needed to talk. Chase explained the break up by saying that he and Brook Lynn simply had different priorities.

Chase accused Brook Lynn of acting in her own self-interest by putting his singing career ahead of his police career, but Sasha asked if it was possible that Brook Lynn had sincerely believed that Chase becoming a singer would be best for their relationship. Chase considered what she had said and said that she might have a point.

Dante joined Chase and Sasha on the plaza. Chase wanted to know if Dante had heard anything from the review board. Dante told Chase that he had already given his testimony and hoped that it would help Chase. Chase thanked Dante. Sasha invited Dante to help them decorate and to her surprise, he agreed to help before going to work.

After Sasha went to fetch a box, Chase received a text notification. Chase read the text message. “It’s final. The review board turned down my appeal,” Chase said. Dante was obviously sympathetic to Chase’s plight. Chase’s tone filled with sadness as he realized that he was no longer a police officer — and would never be one again.

At Pozzulo’s, Valentin was escorted into Sonny’s office. Sonny asked about Anna, but Valentin revealed that Anna had decided to handle things on her own. Sonny was curious why Valentin had come to see him, so Valentin revealed that he had a business proposal for Sonny. Sonny wasn’t interested in doing business with Valentin. Sonny explained that his collaboration with Valentin had been for Anna’s sake because Anna was important to Sonny.

Valentin asked if Sonny had heard of the Pikeman Security Group. Sonny was familiar with the mercenary group, so Valentin revealed that the group wanted to move “classified merchandise” through Port Charles — without interference from the government or law enforcement — and Sonny’s facilities would be ideal for the operation. Valentin acknowledged that he would receive a fee, but the group was prepared to pay Sonny $10,000,000 for every successful shipment. Sonny had reservations because it sounded too good to be true, and Sonny was curious how Valentin was connected to the group. Valentin explained that he had occasionally worked as a logistics contractor with Pikeman, and extending the offer to Sonny had earned Valentin a favor.

Sonny wanted to know about Valentin’s agreement with Pikeman, but Valentin would only tell Sonny that it had nothing to do with him or his organization. Valentin gave his word, but Sonny said that Valentin’s word was worthless to him. Valentin said that it would be in Sonny’s best interests to take Pikeman up on their offer. Sonny made it clear that he did not like ultimatums, but Valentin clarified that he was just the messenger.

Valentin explained that Pikeman would find someone else, but the group fully intended to move their merchandise through Port Charles because it was a shipping hub with access to the Atlantic and Canadian waters. According to Valentin, if Sonny wasn’t interested in working with Pikeman, then Sonny would be reclassified as a liability and obstacle, and Pikeman had a reputation for removing obstacles. Valentin told Sonny that he could either make a boatload of money, or gain a new set of powerful enemies. “Ball is in your court,” Valentin said as he exited Sonny’s office.

After Valentin left, Sonny called Brick. Sonny asked Brick to gather as much information as possible on Pikeman Security Group and to get back to Sonny as quickly as possible.

At Carly’s house, Carly entered the kitchen and said good morning to Josslyn.  Josslyn, who was seated at the island and focused on her open laptop, did not return Carly’s greeting. So, Carly repeated her greeting and made sure to get her daughter’s attention. Josslyn told Carly that she had decided to change her major to pre-med. Carly was taken aback, and was curious what had prompted the sudden change. Josslyn explained that she had hated feeling helpless when Dex had been shot, but Carly assured her daughter that Josslyn had done more than most people would have done under similar circumstances.

Josslyn admitted that she had felt a sense of fear both when Dex was shot and when Ava had been stabbed.  She said she did not wish to have that sense of fear anymore.  She wanted to know what to do in those situations. Josslyn was surprised at Carly’s lack of enthusiasm for her decision, but Carly had concerns because medical school was difficult and time-consuming.

Carly wanted Josslyn to be clear on her motivations.  She wanted to know if Dex had any role in Josslyn’s decision.  She cautioned Josslyn to admit her feelings for Dex with an awareness of the violence that was likely to plague Dex’s life. Josslyn promised that becoming a doctor was separate from Dex. Carly asked about Cameron and Josslyn’s mood saddened.  She said that things with Cameron just weren’t the same anymore and that she simply didn’t know how to end it.  She couldn’t stand the idea of hurting Cameron. Carly told her she understood, but that the longer she waited, the harder it would be to end things with Cameron.

At the Quartermaine gatehouse, Michael and Willow arrived home. Willow was weak and Michael helped guide her to the couch in the center of the room. He offered to make some tea, but Willow declined. She sat as Michael knelt at her feet and slid off her boots. Willow urged Michael to go about his day as usual because Michael and Wiley’s routine gave her a sense of normalcy. Willow lay down to take a nap as Michael draped a blanket on her. He promised to return soon, but he stopped at the door to look at her. “And he says he doesn’t hover,” Willow said. She smiled but her eyes remained closed.

At Dex’s apartment, Dex had a dream about Josslyn and their passionate kiss in her dorm room. He awakened and sat up quickly, but was overcome with pain from the gunshot wound. There was a knock at the door and Dex answered it to reveal Michael with his phone. As Michael entered the apartment, he handed the phone to Dex. Michael asked how the phone had ended up outside the gatehouse, so Dex told Michael about his role in Anna’s escape and the gunshot wound.

Dex explained that he had hoped Michael might get him patched up or at least to his apartment. Michael was not happy when Dex admitted that Josslyn had helped, but Michael realized that it had explained Josslyn’s strange behavior when Michael and Willow had arrived home. Michael was furious that Dex had made Josslyn an accomplice to a crime, and he was further angered when Dex admitted that Carly had gotten involved by getting him antibiotics.

Michael made it clear that he had no desire to dismantle Sonny’s organization at the expense of his mother and sister. Dex promised that this was an isolated incident and that it would never happen again, but Michael still wasn’t satisfied. Michael warned Dex that he would rather call everything off than put Josslyn at risk. “You need to find a way to keep her at arm’s length,” Michael said. Shortly after Michael left, Dex answered a knock at his door to reveal Josslyn standing in the hallway.

At the gatehouse, Willow woke up when she heard someone knocking at the door. She was confused when she saw Nina standing at the door. Nina explained that she had a favor to ask of Willow. Willow informed Nina that Wiley was at school, so Nina’s attempt to accidentally run into him would not work. Nina admitted that she had purposefully stopped by when Wiley was not home. “I was hoping you might want to help out a friend,” Nina said.

Willow poured herself a glass of water as Nina told her about the holiday project at Rice Plaza and Sasha’s role in getting everything done. Nina admitted that she had thought it might help Sasha to have Willow on hand to get the work done, but Willow told Nina that it was not a good day for her. Willow pointed out that Nina had not only taken on the project because Nina had decided it was what Sasha had needed, but Nina had put Sasha in charge of it without consulting Sasha about any of it. Nina was confident that she had made the right decision because Sasha had seemed happy when Nina had left the plaza. Willow was curious why — if Sasha had been doing great — Sasha needed friends to rally around her. “You are spinning your own narrative like you always do,” Willow said.

Willow accused Nina of not having consideration for anyone, and Willow advised Nina to pick a lane and stay in it. Nina grew  defensive. Nina claimed that she had hoped that Willow would be willing to set aside their differences to help a friend. “There goes that narrative again,” Willow said. “Willow Tait, you’re as selfish as they come,” Nina shot back. Nina insisted that Willow had everything, while Sasha had lost Liam and Brando, suffered several nervous breakdowns, and been put under a guardianship. Nina claimed that Willow’s life was perfect because Willow had graduated from nursing school, had plenty of time off from work for naps, and lived on a beautiful estate in a house with a man and son who loved and adored her. Nina also reminded Willow that she was pregnant with another child. As Nina ranted about Willow’s life being perfect, Willow lost it.

“Shut up!” Willow screamed. Willow repeated it two more times, each time gaining momentum and anger.  Stunned by the screams, Nina stopped speaking. Willow accused Nina of using Sasha as an excuse to scheme her way back into her good graces. Willow insisted that Nina had lost her mind if she thought that she would simply look past all of the lies that Nina had spread about Willow and T.J. Carly approached the gatehouse, but slowed when she heard Willow screaming. Carly got close enough to see what was going on through the window in the door. She paused to see who Willow was speaking to and was shocked when she saw that it was Nina.

When Willow ordered Nina to leave, Carly opened the door and stood in the doorway. Nina threw her hands up in defeat. Carly was ready for an altercation, but before she could say anything, Willow fainted, her head striking the floor.

Update written by Shane

At the cabin where Holly has taken refuge, Jordan orders Mac to move in, the cabin explodes taking everyone by surprise.  Holly rushes out consumed by flames. Robert, who is at first subdued by Mac, rushes over with a blanket and extinguishes the flames covering Holly.  Robert screams.

The paramedics, after conducting their initial exam, explain Holly has third-degree burns over most of her body. They tell Robert that the burn unit at General Hospital is not equipped to handle such a serious case, so they plan to airlift Holly to a hospital that is better equipped. Robert goes with her. Jordan tells Mac she needs him on site.

The paramedics load Holly into an ambulance with Robert by her side. Later by the side of the road, the ambulance stops and the back doors open.  The paramedics exit and Felicia reveals herself as the driver. Holly sits up in the back of the ambulance without a hint of injury.

They all exit the ambulance and Holly thanks Felicia, who provides her with a new passport. Holly explains the events as they have unfolded over the past 24 hours. Felicia had shown up the previous night at the cabin and helped her fix the stove to explode when the time was right. She had also brought flame retardant clothing. Holly further reveals to Felicia that she and Robert staged his drugging, providing her the opportunity to “steal” the necklace. Holly explains that Ethan’s only chance at survival is if Victor thinks she is of no use to him. Felicia tells everyone that the official story will record that Holly was transported to a burn unit thousands of miles from Port Charles on the other side of the world. Holly is just sorry they had to keep Mac in the dark. Felicia says that under the circumstances she believes he would understand and says it provides him with plausible deniability.  As long as he is in the dark, he will not be lying to Jordan.

Holly then recalls meeting and giving Selina one of the diamonds from the necklace, in exchange for her drugging Victor.  Selina asked her what Victor did to her, and she explained he was holding her son hostage. Selina says that there is a special place in hell for men like him.  Holly says, “Yes, the 9th ring.” The drug will pay him back in kind, but it won’t kill him. She’ll never get Ethan back with Victor dead. Selina agreed to help her.

Once Felicia departs, Holly tells Robert she’s sorry that this must be goodbye. She notes this isn’t their moment, and he laughs, “It never is.” Before he can let her go, he asks for the necklace. She laughs, and hands it over. Holly tells Robert to be careful and blows him a kiss as she walks away.

Back at the cabin, Jordan tells Mac that it appears a faulty stove had caused the explosion. Mac is handed the remains of Robert’s briefcase, but there is no necklace to be found. He tells Jordan that the fire was so hot it could have destroyed the necklace.  Jordan says that the WSB is not going to be happy with the news.

At Portia and Curtis’ place, Marshall sits outside cleaning his clarinet when Trina tries to sneak out. He expected boredom to drive her out sooner or later. She admits she has cabin fever and needs room to breathe.

Inside, Portia and Curtis talk about the holiday. Curtis plans to make the most of his time with his father in case his disease returns. He asks what the chances are of that happening. Portia says she is not a psychiatrist and so she can not help Curtis in that regard. Curtis tells her Marshall claims he hasn’t had an episode since his arrest at the protest, and maybe he caught a break.

Back outside, Curtis and Portia find Marshall with Trina. Curtis tells his dad the game is about to start if he wants to watch. Portia and Marshall head in, and Curtis offers Trina the last piece of the pie. She pushes it aside. Trina knows he posted Marshall outside, which Curtis admits he did, but only to watch out for Esme. She accepts the pie and cleans the plate.

Back inside, Portia hopes Marshall will play the clarinet for them tonight. She asks if his illness has ever affected his music. Marshall says it never did, just his ambitions. He wonders why all the questions. She says that genetic counseling wasn’t available back when he was diagnosed and he could get it now. Marshall says that it can not possibly tell him anything he doesn’t already know.

In the kitchen of the Quartermaine mansion, Chase asks Brook Lynn if she had ever planned on telling him about the letter Dante asked her to write. She’s shocked Dante told him and explains she’s been so busy with his singing career she hasn’t had time to think about it. Chase wonders if she was ever planning on telling him or writing the letter. She swears she had every intention of writing the letter once they had taken Linc down. Chase grows angry and says that taking Linc down was never a certainty.

Brook Lynn says, “There is only one reason, us.” She cries and tells Chase that she’s never had anything like she has with him, and she didn’t think she was capable of finding it. However, he showed her that wasn’t the case. She says even if she never exposes Linc or gets her songs back, she’d be okay because they keep getting closer. She thought that given enough time he’d forget about the badge and simply want what they have together.

Chase admits that singing has been fun. However, he is not a singer. He explains she took away the choice for him to decide for himself what he wanted to do with his future. Brook Lynn understands and says she is fine with him “hanging up the mic.” Chase says, “Yes my singing career is over, but so are we.” She begs him to think about what he’s saying. Chase tells her that she kept him from the thing that makes him who he is. He says that they are over and leaves.

At The Savoy, Britt collides with Ava (at the bar drinking a martini) and orders herself a cosmopolitan. Cody shows up, as does Nikolas. Britt complains to Ava about how long it’s been since she had real “relationship sex.” 2014 was the last time and with her husband Nikolas, who approaches them and brags that he’s a “tough act to follow.”

Meanwhile, Liesl grabs Cody and drags him to another area of the club. Liesl tells Cody that Britt doesn’t have the time or energy for romantic distractions. She offers him money to stay away from Britt.  Cody says that he doesn’t want her money.

Cody says he originally wanted the necklace, but then he wanted Britt. He thought he could have both, but now he’s lost them both. He tells Liesl not to worry, he knows where he is not wanted and that he will not be bothering Britt anymore. Cody does ask Liesl to tell him what is wrong with Britt. Liesl tells him that answers were never part of the offer.

Selina finds Victor drinking by himself and joins him. Victor gets a text from Gavin that he’s at the location and trying to get the necklace. Victor texts Gavin and tells him that the necklace is key and that Holly is expendable. Victor and Selina discuss their recent family holiday.

Back at the bar, Britt orders another round for her, Ava and Nikolas. Britt suggests Nikolas be her wingman tonight.  Britt suddenly becomes woozy and can’t stand. She is caught by Victor and Selina who rush over to help.

Selina asks if Britt has been overserved. Britt says that she has only had one drink but becomes unstable again. Victor helps her to a table. Selina follows, and Britt continues to yell at them to get away from her as she can handle her alcohol. Victor soon realizes that Britt is sick and tells her that this has nothing to do with alcohol. Britt screams, “Don’t say that!”  Liesl appears and slaps Victor, and Cody forcibly moves Victor to another area of the club. Selina meanwhile recalls sending Victor a drink earlier containing the drug Holly had given her.

Later, Liesl tells Britt they should go home. She helps her daughter walk out of the club as Cody watches.

Elsewhere, Ava fills Nikolas in on Mac and Kevin believing she can convince Ryan to help them find Esme. Nikolas is understandably upset, and makes it seem he fears for Ava’s safety.

Alone, Victor finishes his drugged drink. He gets a text from Gavin that Holly is disabled and the necklace is missing. Victor smashes the empty glass that had contained his drink. He has consumed every last drop.

Update written by Shane

Carly arrived at the Quartermaine mansion and Drew told her that she looked absolutely beautiful.  She responded by saying that Drew looked pretty handsome himself.  Before they could continue the conversation, Willow and Michael arrived and Carly and Drew greeted both of them. Michael and Willow were pleased when they learned that Carly intended to help Drew with the search for Willow’s birth parents.

Olivia would not hear of any talk about the Quartermaine’s jaded Thanksgiving past and was determined that this year the Quartermaine family would have a turkey for Thanksgiving.  She informed Ned and Michael that she had ordered it herself from a farm with a French name, in Port Charles. But Olivia clearly doesn’t know French that well or she would have figured out that they were sending her a real, live turkey.  When it arrived, both Michael and Ned made fun of Olivia for not realizing that she was being sent a live turkey.  Michael suggested that they prepare the bird themselves when Olivia’s plan to bribe the Quartermaine chef to prepare the bird, failed miserably.  Ned said that preparing the turkey had been part of Thanksgiving since the dawn of the holiday.  Michael agreed and said that he would grab Drew and Chase to assist.

Leo was thrilled to see the turkey but did not like the idea of Ned and Michael prepping it and cooking it, so he set it free inside the house and then proceeded to run room to room screaming for everyone to get out of the house because there was a turkey on the loose.

Sonny hosted his own Thanksgiving dinner but found time for romance beforehand by giving Nina a pair of diamond earrings. Sam and Dante were the first guests to arrive. When they shared a private moment, Sam voiced her concerns about Cody, and Dante shrugged them off. Sam said she appreciated Dante defending his friend but she was curious if Cody was up to something concerning the Ice Princess.  Dante said that the necklace might actually be Cody’s property and he said that having come from nothing, it was perfectly natural for Cody to defend his interests in the necklace.

The conversation between Dante and Sam was brought to a screeching halt when they heard Gladys tear into Alexis from the other room for publishing the fact that Esme might be the prime suspect in the Hook killings. She felt she should have been the first to know, seeing how Brando was one of the killer’s victims. Nina was confused and asked Gladys if she had not been informed that Esme was a suspect. Gladys responded by saying she had not. Dante told them all that this was because the PCPD did not have a prime suspect because the investigation was ongoing and it was important that the press not release information prematurely.  Alexis glared at them all, knowing that she had already authorized the story to be printed.  Sonny asked everyone to remain calm and reminded them that Thanksgiving was about family.  Gladys reminded Sonny that Brando was her family.  Her only family.  Alexis then apologized for releasing the information.  She said that she thought that Gladys would be pleased with her decision because she was turning up the heat on the investigation at a time when it appeared to have run cold.  Gladys, however, was having no part of Alexis’ apology and retreated from the room.

Laura, Robert, Mac and Jordan gathered to track down Holly. They finally got a lead on her. But before they began discussions, Laura dispatched the duplicitous Deputy Mayor Ashby elsewhere, before she could overhear the details of the search.

Meanwhile, Holly modeled the Ice Princess necklace while hiding out in an abandoned cabin in the woods. She made herself a fire to keep warm without noticing that gas had been leaked onto the floor. When the authorities arrived, Robert begged her to give up and come out of the cabin. Holly asked if Laura was all right and told Robert to apologize to her for her actions.

Back at the PCPD, Felicia had brought everyone Thanksgiving dinner because she knew that they would be working. Felicia asked Laura how she was doing with everything that had happened in the last twenty-four hours.  Laura replied that she was fine.  Felicia said that she couldn’t believe that Holly would steal Laura’s car and leave her on the side of the road all for a necklace.  Laura told Felicia she believed the matter was far more complicated than just “a necklace.” Felicia said that she agreed, but that she still could not believe the events that had transpired.

The Q’s looked on in horror from the back windows of the mansion’s kitchen as the turkey tore the room apart. Brook Lynn congratulated Olivia on her valiant effort to create a perfect Thanksgiving for the family. She then named all the wonderful women who had tried and failed in the past to set the Quartermaine Thanksgiving curse right (including her grandmother, Lila Quartermaine). But, she said that at some point you have to accept tradition, as it is. Olivia agreed, but was out of ideas for what they would all eat.  The entire group said in unison, “Luigi’s.”  The pizza arrived, the Quartermaine’s sang, and once again, all appeared right with the world.

Sasha stared out of the windows of Sonny’s penthouse, while she recalled the events of her wedding to Brando. Sonny came in and asked how she was doing. They spoke briefly and Sonny told her she was always welcome at his house.  Sasha thanked him and he then asked her if Gladys was still exercising her responsibilities as guardian with a “hands-on” attitude.  Sasha said that she believed that she and Gladys finally understood each other.

Gladys, on the other hand, said that she had to make a call and excused herself.  She called the Savoy, told them she was having a bad day and needed some fun.  She then booked herself a seat at Selina Wu’s next poker game.

Back at the cabin, Jordan instructed Mac to move in with armed police units as Robert begged her to give Holly more time to do the right thing.  Jordan said that Holly had already had enough time; but before she could finish her statement there was a large explosion in the cabin which nearly knocked everyone to the ground.  Shortly after, a woman, who appeared to be Holly burst through the front door, completely consumed by flames.

Jordan phoned Mac and instructed him to secure Ava’s cooperation in their quest to locate Esme. Mac looked over at Kevin and Ava, at the Metro Court and made his way to their table. Mac told Ava that he needed her help in catching Esme. Kevin backed Mac up and said that they believed Ryan Chamberlain was likely to know Esme’s whereabouts. They both believed that if anyone was likely to somehow get Ryan to slip up and reveal information it would be Ava. Ava listened intently to their plan and agreed to it without the slightest hesitation. Mac told her to take some time to consider it and she said that she didn’t need any time.  She said she wanted to protect Trina from Esme and added that she wanted Esme to “rot.”

At General Hospital, T.J. told Diane and Jordan that Robert was “sleeping it off” although he was waiting for the results of the tox screen. Jordan said that she was convinced that Robert had been drugged, and T.J. ordered a rush on the tox screen. In his room, Robert awakened, and Diane was sitting with him. Diane refreshed his memory about the tequila shots and the reaction she believed he had to them.  She also filled him in on his strange behavior and the trip to his room with Holly. Diane added that she had given the WSB his message. Robert suddenly realized that his briefcase was gone and Diane confirmed that he had not been in possession of it when he stumbled off the elevator at the Metro Court. He said, “get Ashford in here……now.”  Diane rushed to get Jordan.

Dante paid a visit to Heather at Spring Ridge. As he was led into her cell, he found her painting. Heather asked Dante if he wanted to model for her. Dante revealed that he was there to question her about the transport crash. Heather offered to tell him for a price. Dante admitted that he couldn’t make a deal, but he thought that if she provided information, it would help her later.

Heather refused, and Dante told her she’d have plenty of time to perfect her painting in prison. He knocked on the door for the guard to let him out, and Heather frowned. She later banged on the door and requested a phone call.

Elsewhere at Spring Ridge, a caregiver attempted to read stories of interest from the newspaper to Ryan. He noted that there had been no new developments on the hook killer, and that Anna DeVane was still on the run.

Laura and Scott chatted while standing in Rice Plaza. They talked about family, and Laura noted her intention to locate Lucy’s real shooter to bring them to justice. Holly sat on a bench nearby and overheard their conversation. Laura and Scott made their way to the bench, and Holly said she had seen a woodchuck floating up into the air. She noted that she was waiting for a ride-share because she had business to tend to. She said she hadn’t expected to see so much activity around her.  Laura and Scott were perplexed that Holly would be working on the night before Thanksgiving. Scott received a phone call from Heather and walked off sounding annoyed.  Laura insisted that she drive Holly to her meeting with her contact rather than leave Holly alone waiting for a ride-share.  Laura said that she would not take no for an answer.  Holly reluctantly agreed. Laura and Holly couldn’t believe that Scott had taken the phone call from Heather and agreed it couldn’t be good.

Esme let out a scream but quickly apologized to “Ace” in her locked room at Wyndemere. The door opened, and Elizabeth walked in. She announced that she was there to help Esme. She checked Esme’s vitals and told Esme that stress was bad for the baby. Elizabeth instructed Esme to take her pregnancy seriously and gave her some prenatal vitamins to take once a day. Esme begged Elizabeth to tell Nikolas to let her go.  Elizabeth said that living at Wyndemere was preferable to life behind bars at Pentonville, which is definitely where Esme would be headed if she were discovered.

After Elizabeth had gone, Esme wondered what her daddy would do. She had a vision of Ryan sitting on her bed, and she complained and argued about her situation. “Use the baby,” he said. He urged her to toss the vitamins out and refuse to take care of herself. Esme thought she could lose her leverage if she lost the baby, but Ryan assured her that the baby was her only leverage. Esme dumped most of the pills and figured that Elizabeth would bring her more. Downstairs, Nikolas left a phone message for Ava and told her he loved her. The doorbell rang, and Nikolas was irritated to see Victor standing there with all his luggage. Victor announced to Nikolas that tonight was the night he had decided to move in. Nikolas tried to tell him it wasn’t a good time, but Victor stated that there had been a development. He said he needed some extra security and he wanted to prepare the family for what was to come. Victor said that Nikolas and Spencer were the only ones he could trust, and he wanted Nikolas to “get his house in order.”

Victor poured drinks and handed Nikolas a glass. He told Nikolas that he would pick out his suite in the north tower. “No!” Nikolas shouted. He quickly told his uncle that the ongoing renovations were nowhere near complete and that Victor would have to stay in the south tower. Victor complained about the views in the south tower, left the room and closed the doors. “What the hell, Nikolas?” Elizabeth said. She wondered if Nikolas was trying to get caught. Elizabeth told Nikolas that Esme was doing well, even though she should have had prenatal care. Victor returned to the room and Elizabeth departed because being there with Victor obviously gave her the creeps.

Nikolas claimed that Elizabeth had shown up to talk because she’d had a rough time. Victor didn’t believe Nikolas and said that he was at least pleased to see Nikolas acting like a single man again. Victor then received a message and left to make a call. He was angry to hear that Holly had vanished.

Scott visited Heather, and she cried about Franco’s death. She said that Dante had stopped by to question her, so she knew that she was valuable. She added that she knew who had helped Anna to escape.  Heather wanted to make a deal with Scott.  He would help her get paroled from the prison and then she would sue Port Charles for millions claiming the prisoner transport crash had caused permanent damage to her neck.

Scott assured Heather that no judge would ever grant her release and that no one would ever take her seriously because she was a “crackpot.”  Heather implored him to think twice because she never forgot her friends, or her enemies.  “Neither do I,” Scott replied and he knocked on the door to be released.

Ava and Mac bumped into Dante at Spring Ridge when they arrived to see Ryan, and they gave Dante an update. Ava spotted Ryan and headed over to him. She told Ryan that Esme had been her attacker. “The audacity!” she exclaimed. She wondered if Ryan would like to help her get back at Esme for trying to take what was his.

Back at General Hospital, Robert tried to unhook his I.V. and other lines while T.J. sat with him. Robert was in a full-on panic because he had lost the necklace and was worried for Holly’s safety. T.J. told Robert that he couldn’t leave. Diane and Jordan arrived, and Jordan announced that some footage from Metro Court had been reviewed, and Holly appeared to be fine. She asked why Holly would do such a thing. Robert appeared to want to say something, but Jordan received a phone call and left. Diane surmised that Holly had stolen the necklace and drugged him. She added that she knew he was in trouble. Robert denied everything and Diane begged him not to let Holly drag him down with her.

In the car, Laura and Holly discussed her mother and the fact that Kevin was working. She thought that Holly’s memory would return, and she asked what agency Holly was working for. Holly responded that it was classified. Laura received a phone call from Jordan, but before she could tell Jordan who she was with, Jordan began to talk over the speakerphone. Jordan said that Robert had been attacked and that the attacker had the missing necklace in Robert’s briefcase. Laura realized what was happening but before she could react, Holly disconnected the call and held Laura at gunpoint.

Laura admitted that she had suspected all along that Holly and Deputy Mayor Ashby were on Victor’s payroll. When Holly told Laura to exit the freeway Laura refused to follow any of Holly’s commands.

Later, Holly and Laura were shown standing on the side of the road by an exit sign. While Holly held her gun in Laura’s direction, she grabbed Laura’s phone and called Kevin. She tossed the phone on the ground and ran. Laura picked up the phone and told Kevin where she was. She told Kevin that Holly had stolen her car and advised him to tell Jordan that Holly was armed and dangerous.

At the Metro Court, Sam and Dante meet with Alexis for lunch. Nina interrupts and asks Dante how worried Ava needs to be about Esme. Alexis is surprised to hear Esme is back in town, and of the theory that the attacks are connected to Trina’s trial. Nina pretends to be worried about Ava but it is clear she is looking out for number 1.  Since Ava is temporarily staying at her place, she feels she may be in dangerous.  Dante can only say the investigation is ongoing and suggests they stay vigilant.

After Nina walks off, Alexis turns the discussion to food, and what Sonny will be cooking for Thanksgiving. Dante says a feast from what he hears. They all plan to go to Sonny’s, but Sam and Dante are later going to the Quartermaines for pizza. Dante says his mom even invited Cody, but he doubts he’ll come. Dante says he will probably have to go down to the stables to coax him out. Sam seems surprised. Dante messages Brook Lynn again about her statement to help Chase. She tells him that she’s in a meeting at Kelly’s. Dante tells them duty calls and excuses himself.

Alone, Alexis asks what the face Sam made was about when Dante mentioned Cody. Sam reveals Cody dropped hints that Dante may have done something illegal as a child, and she thinks she should find out what it was. When Sam steps away, Alexis asks Nina why she’s so certain Esme could be the hook. Nina says Ava seems very concerned about her return. Later, Alexis calls the PCPD and leaves a message for Jordan. Because she has not received her exclusive that she was promised she is going ahead with the printing of the hook’s letter on the front page the following day and would like a comment from the commissioner.  At Kelly’s, Chase and Brook Lynn arrive and meet with Blaze and Linc, who has issues with Brook Lynn’s song. Blaze loves the song, but she feels she’s singing too much back up to Chase. Chase and Brook Lynn believe they can work this out. Linc agrees as he caresses Blaze and says she knows how to play nice. Brook Lynn and Chase see this blatant sexual harassment but manage to keep their cool. Brook Lynn suggests she and Linc grab some coffee and let Blaze and Chase talk.

Brook Lynn says, “It won’t be just me.” She points out all the instances recently where one woman came out publicly against someone, which results in more coming out, and all she has to do is light the match. She says fortunately she doesn’t have a singing career he can hang over her head to keep her quiet, and she is going to destroy him. Linc says, “Or, you could get your songs back.”

Dante sits down with Chase and asks why Blaze is in Port Charles. Chase reveals they are working on a song together. Dante explains he’s been leaving messages for Brook Lynn and came to track her down. Chase relays that she’s been working around the clock promoting him. Dante says, “With this new career of his, maybe she doesn’t have to write that letter.”

In Britt’s office, Cody finds her on the floor holding the necklace. The office is a mess, and he asks if someone broke in and tried to steal the necklace. She tells him no. He can see she’s upset and asks if he can help. Britt cries to Cody that when she found out her father died, she thought it was finally over. However, his reach extends beyond the grave and he’s still hurting her. She can’t believe she wasted so much time seeking his approval. He tells her if Faison didn’t appreciate her then that’s on him, and she is worth loving. She asks, “Even with what’s been passed down to me?”

Cody initially assumes she’s speaking of the necklace and suggests she can give it to him because it’s basically his anyways. She can’t believe she didn’t see this before and screams she wasn’t talking about the necklace. She thinks that’s all he wanted. She tells him if he wants it so bad take it and get out! She hands it to him.

As Britt opens the door and demands Cody leave, Robert is standing there with a cop. He has a warrant for the necklace and demands Cody hand it over. Cody hesitates. Robert explains some of the diamonds in it are possibly stolen, Cody continues to stand there motionless so Britt finally grabs the necklace and hands it over to Robert.  Robert and the officer leave.

Britt again demands Cody get out, but he refuses. He wants to know if she wasn’t talking about the necklace then what was she talking about? He apologizes for making a mistake, and she knows he has a habit of putting his foot in his mouth. He asks what it will take for her to give him the benefit of the doubt. She says, “More than I have to give.”

Obrecht arrives and says, “What is going on here?”  “Absolutely nothing,” Cody says as he exits. Obrecht asks what is going on, and Britt breaks down and cries “I’m sick.”

In the lobby of , the officer cuffs the briefcase with the necklace to Robert’s wrist. He reveals he’s going to turn it over to some WSB agents at the Metro Court. One of Victor’s men overhears this and calls Victor.Elsewhere, Michael and Willow arrive for her first chemo appointment. They run into Carly, and soon after TJ appears. Willow whisks TJ aside to talk to him about her pregnancy. While they are alone, Carly asks Michael how everything is going. Michael reveals Willow wants to find her birth parents. Carly is stunned and asks what changed her mind. Michael simply says with the baby coming, they thought it could be important to have all the medical information available to them.  He makes no mention of Willow’s leukemia to Carly.

Nearby, Willow admits to TJ that she feels like a coward not letting anyone know she’s sick. TJ assures her that she’s not a coward. TJ and Willow rejoin Carly and Michael. Carly asks TJ if he and Molly have plans for Thanksgiving. He explains Alexis is going to Sonny’s, but they thought that might be awkward. Carly is confused, so Michael tells her about Nina’s accusations about Willow and TJ having an affair. Carly is livid and storms off.

At Kelly’s Diner, Linc asked Brook Lynn to help him salvage his less than stellar reputation. In exchange, Linc said he would give back to Brook Lynn the remaining contents of her catalog. Brook Lynn was incredulous.  She couldn’t believe that Linc was now suggesting she agree to rehabilitate his reputation in return for the songs that he virtually stole from her.

Chase joined them, and he asked Brook Lynn directly if she was okay with whatever Linc had proposed. Brook Lynn hesitantly said that she and Linc were on good terms, and Linc left. Chase told Brook Lynn that he trusted her to do the right thing. Brook Lynn appeared no where near as certain as Chase was as they walked outside.

Earlier, Chase was surprised to learn that Dante had asked for Brook Lynn’s help in getting Chase reinstated as a detective. Chase pointedly asked Dante how long ago he had made the request and Dante told him it had been weeks. Chase wondered if Brook Lynn had ever intended to send a letter on his behalf to the review board. Dante told Chase not to simply assume the worst about Brook Lynn.

In Britt’s office at the hospital, Britt told Liesl that her Huntington’s disease had advanced. She told her Liesl that the specialist had given her between five to 15 years to live. Britt said that within a year, she might require around-the-clock care. Liesl said that they were both intelligent, talented doctors and that they would not let the disease win so easily.  But, Britt was not having it.  She told Liesl that she needed a mother, not a doctor.  Liesl said that she could do that, but she stated that Britt deserved a better mother.  They cried together.  Britt asked Liesl to go home to Scott.  But, Liesl couldn’t stand the thought of Britt being alone.

At Volonino’s Gym, Drew told Sonny that he was searching for Willow’s biological mother at the requested of Willow and Michael. Sonny shared that he had heard the failed merger between Aurora and ELQ had recently caused trouble between Drew and Carly. Drew seemed surprised when Sonny said that Carly had felt the need to tell Sonny about her relationship with Drew. Drew asked how Sonny had reacted, and Sonny recalled that he had told Carly that he was happy for her. “Well, that was nice of you to say. Did you mean it?” Drew asked. Sonny said that he had been sincere when he had wished Carly well, and he added that he only wanted what was best for Carly because she was Donna’s mother.

At the Metro Court restaurant, Carly and Nina bickered at each other over Nina’s misinterpretation of Carly’s visit to Brick’s room at the Metro Court. The argument grew ugly and at one point, Carly took a bowl of soup from Trish, a waitress who had walked by. Carly eventually returned the bowl to the waitress after Sonny and Drew appeared. Carly said that she had been tempted to throw the soup in Nina’s face, but she claimed she had refused because she had too much respect for the hotel and its staff.

Sonny convinced Nina to walk away. Afterwards, Carly was surprised when Drew said he would help Willow search for her birth mother. Carly had yet another flashback to months earlier when she had learned that Nina was Willow’s biological mother. Carly then told Drew that she would help with the search for Willow’s mom.

At Pier 55, Valentin was surprised to find Martin, who was still grieving the loss of Lucy. Martin said that Anna had murdered Lucy. Valentin swore that Martin was wrong about Anna, but Martin said that Valentin’s judgment was clouded by his love for Anna. Valentin offered sincere apologies to Martin, who added that he wished Lucy hadn’t gone to the pier on the night of the gunshot. Valentin clarified that there had been two shots fired instead of one. Martin wondered what Valentin’s point had been. “If Anna was the shooter, she wouldn’t need two shots, especially at close range,” Valentine reiterated.

Valentin told Martin to come with him because the two had work to do. “Go where?” Martin asked. “To find out what happened to Lucy,” Valentin answered.

In the restaurant at the Metro Court, Robert waited for his WSB contact to appear. Diane joined Robert, who shared that the briefcase that was handcuffed to him contained diamonds from the Ice Princess. Diane was intrigued with being so close to the famed Ice Princess. Holly joined them, and Robert introduced her to Diane. Robert ordered tequila shots for the table. Robert said that Holly was someone he trusted with his life. Holly said that she and Diane had both cheated death, and then excused herself for a moment. When Holly was away, Diane told Robert that she was lovely and said she could see why Robert was so fond of her.  Robert warned Diane that she could be duplicitous. Holly returned to the table and found a way to drug Robert without he or Diane noticing.  Robert wanted Holly to do a shot with him, but Holly claimed she had to watch her salt intake. Holly and Diane had a conversation, and Robert grew quiet. Diane asked Robert a question, and suddenly, Robert’s head fell to the table.

Diane was concerned about Robert. Holly claimed that he just wasn’t able to handle his liquor anymore. Robert appeared to have been drugged, but he said he needed to stay at Metro Court to wait for the WSB contact. Holly convinced Robert to leave with her.

After Robert and Holly left, Diane left a voice message for Robert. Diane shared that she hadn’t had a good feeling about Robert being alone with Holly. Diane hung up, and she was stunned when Robert stumbled off the elevator. He appeared to have been assaulted and the suitcase that had been cuffed to his wrist was gone.

Elsewhere, Holly opened the box in the suitcase that had contained the necklace. She pulled the necklace from the box and held it in her hands.

Update written by Shane

At Pozzulo’s, Sonny continued to try to reach Dex by phone. He left a voicemail demanding that Dex call him. Brick arrived and told Sonny that he had also been unable to locate Dex. Sonny informed Brick that he was not cool with Carly visiting Brick’s hotel room, and Brick assured him that he would never disrespect Sonny. He added that he would tell Sonny if he insisted but to do so would be to violate Carly’s trust. Sonny’s guard came to tell him a supplier needed to speak with him. Brick was left alone in Sonny’s office.

After finishing up a run, Drew ran into Carly and Carly told him that they still needed to be super careful.  She informed him that Josslyn had seen them kissing, but she told Drew that Josslyn could be trusted. Drew agreed and then told Carly that he was trying to locate Willow’s birth parents or even possibly some family members.  Carly looked stunned for obvious reasons.

Olivia arrived in the plaza and greeted them but Carly quickly made her exit when she received a message from Brick. He told her that Sonny was aware that they had met, and Sonny had had some wild ideas.

In Josslyn’s dorm room, Dex awoke and grabbed a sleeping Josslyn’s hand as she slept in a chair next to the bed. She opened her eyes and checked his fever, which she said had broken. Dex said that he felt better, but he groaned in pain when he began to move. She handed him a bottle of water and urged him to stay hydrated. Dex asked her to get him some clothes so that he could leave. Josslyn reminded him that he couldn’t walk, let alone stand, but Dex struggled as he got out of the bed and stood up by himself. Josslyn thought that Dex was too weak to leave, but he didn’t want to take a chance of her getting into trouble with all the people around the dorm.

Sonny returned to his office, and Brick told him that he wouldn’t disclose discussions that were about private matters. There was a knock at the door, it was Carly. She announced that she’d heard that Sonny had gotten the wrong idea about her meeting with Brick, and said she was there to set him straight. Carly told Sonny that the entire matter was none of his business, and Sonny looked toward Brick, who stated that Sonny had been curious. Carly told Sonny that she and Drew were seeing each other but that had to keep it quiet for the time being. She claimed that she had gone to Brick and asked him to conceal any digital footprint that she and Drew might have left.

Sonny asked Brick to leave him and Carly alone, and Brick left. Sonny told Carly that he was happy for her. Carly said she didn’t want Sonny getting the wrong idea, and he disclosed that Nina had been the one to inform him that Carly had gone into Brick’s hotel room. Carly was not at all surprised, and she noted that it was time for Nina to get a life and stay out of hers.

Back at the dorms, Josslyn returned with clothing for Dex. She told him he could not take the antibiotics without food and grabbed a granola bar for him. Dex was surprised to see a pair of socks in the bag, and Josslyn explained that she wouldn’t dig through his bloody things for the pair he’d been wearing. He was unable to put them on himself, but Josslyn helped him. He also asked for help with his pants, and she slid them over his legs. He managed to get out of bed and pull them up himself. Josslyn packed a duffle bag of odds and ends for him to carry to avoid suspicion and told him she’d burn all the bloody clothing and rags in the fire pit at home.

Dex said that she had gone through an awful lot of trouble for him.  Josslyn agreed. Suddenly, Dex grabbed her, and they began to kiss passionately. “Damn!” Dex muttered when they finally separated. He told her that wasn’t supposed to have happened. “Well, it did!” Josslyn replied. She smiled broadly as Dex left.

At General Hospital, Austin informed Britt that Dr. Talone, a leading specialist in her field, was on the way. Britt appreciated Austin’s help, and while he didn’t have to stay, she admitted she’d like his moral support. When the doctor arrived, they all sat down. Britt admitted to a family history and symptoms as the reason for her pursuing Huntington’s disease further. She admitted to having given a false name with incomplete information when she’d had the hospital visit while on the run.

The doctor suspected that Britt could be further along than originally thought. She explained that the symptoms could have been masked by her carpal tunnel syndrome. Austin urged Britt to be honest, and she admitted to various symptoms such as tremors and irritability. Dr. Talone then stated that she wanted to run more tests. Once Dr. Talone left, Britt and Austin joked about the doctor’s lack of bedside manner and made a comparison to Britt.

Britt thanked Austin for treating her no differently. She admitted that her disease was easier to discuss with someone she didn’t know well because she wanted her loved ones to remember her and not her disease. She stated that she knew how her story would end. The doctor returned and announced that Britt had Stage 3 Huntington’s. Austin grabbed Britt’s arm as the doctor explained that while it was probably a low to intermediate stage, the symptoms would increase, including those of cognitive impairment. She thought that Britt could survive another five to 15 years, although she could need full-time care in as little as 18 months.

Scott met with Cody and sat down with him at a table in Metro Court. Cody said that he wanted legal advice because he might be coming into an “absurd amount of money.” Scott suggested that it was illegal, but Cody assured him it wasn’t. Cody told Scott about the necklace that belonged to either the heirs of Faison or those of Taub. Scott had advice for Cody. “Run for the hills!” he exclaimed. Scott said that the diamonds being cut from the Ice Princess were cursed.

At Pier 55, Robert shouted at Holly. He yelled that he had baited her with a phony address for Anna, and Agent Whitten had appeared there after an anonymous tip from Holly. “How long have you been working with Victor?” he demanded to know. Holly admitted the truth, although she insisted it was not by choice. She grew hysterical and informed him that he would be a target if she told him anything. Robert replied that everyone was a target with Victor around, and he wanted to hear all of it.

Holly told Robert of her lies, she remembered the past two years. She took a deep breath and explained that she had been investigating Rudge and his casino, and she’d heard that he’d been working with Victor. She went on to say that her cover had been blown, and she’d been taken captive. She recalled being able to phone Robert for help, and he remembered the call. She said that Victor had threatened her, and he’d forced her to watch as he killed her sister, Paloma.

Robert recalled Paloma’s body being found on the casino grounds. He noted that she’d resembled Holly. Holly recounted that Paloma had been wearing Holly’s wedding ring, and dental records had been falsified. She continued that she’d been moved from Crete to somewhere else and then to Port Charles. She explained that Anna had been in the way of Victor’s plans, and she had also been ordered to distract Robert. Holly admitted to being the one to have shot Lucy, although she maintained that she’d used one rubber bullet. She added that a second bullet had been fired into the water, leaving behind residue and casings.

Holly assured Robert that Lucy wasn’t dead, and he was skeptical. She said that Victor had never wanted to hurt Lucy. She explained that she had been wearing prosthetics when she’d committed the shooting, in order to resemble Anna. She said that Victor’s guards had retrieved Lucy from the water. She told Robert that  Victor couldn’t know that she’d told Robert anything, or her son Ethan would be in danger.

In Sonny’s office, Carly finished rebuking Sonny when Brick returned with Dex. Carly hastily departed. “Where the hell have you been?” Sonny asked. Dex told him about the bullet graze, how he’d been lying low and lost his phone. Brick and Sonny exchanged looks. They agreed it was all less than professional, but Dex insisted he could be counted on.

As Josslyn packed away all the bloody clothing and bandages, Carly arrived and announced that she’d seen Dex in Sonny’s office. Josslyn was annoyed, but Carly reminded her that Dex was working for Sonny of his own volition and it was his choice to continue to do so. Carly wondered if Josslyn would even see Dex again. Josslyn announced that she needed to get to the fire pit.

After Dr. Talone left Britt’s office, Britt told Austin that she wanted to be alone. She closed the door and wandered around. She picked up her diploma and her business card. Her quiet weeping turned into rage as she threw things and swiped the items off her desk with a vengeance. She looked at her trembling hand and sobbed. She picked up the necklace from the floor just as Cody knocked on the door.

Update written by Shane

At General Hospital, Spinelli told Sam that he had found a juvenile arrest record for Cody. Spinelli said that Cody’s record hadn’t been uploaded to any databases, and he added that he was more than ready to find out what was in the records.

Maxie confronted Austin regarding the odd number of surgeries he has been performing.  Austin explained that the hospital is simply understaffed but Maxie thought Austin had been avoiding her.

In her office at the hospital, Britt received a visit from Sam. Britt asked if Sam had come to talk about the necklace. Sam was leery of sharing information about the necklace because Cody was present but Britt gave her blessing, so Sam shared what she knew..

Based on what Sam has uncovered, the necklace had been in Leopold Taub’s possession, and Cody was likely its rightful heir. Sam added that the necklace could have been obtained by Faison and that if a sales receipt were to surface, the necklace could belong to Britt.

Austin knocked, and he asked Britt to step outside with him. Outside Britt’s office, Austin informed Britt that he had located a Canadian expert on Huntington’s disease and that she was driving into Port Charles to discuss the matter with Britt.  Britt began to give the same excuses about how she could possibly meet the doctor today because she had so many things to get done.  Austin implored Britt to meet with the doctor to put the issues to rest.

Alone in Britt’s office, Sam told Cody that she knew why Cody had forced Spinelli into matching Britt with Cody. “It’s the necklace. That’s what you’ve been after all along, isn’t it?” Sam asked.

Sam said that it was convenient that a necklace worth millions had turned up in Britt’s safe deposit box not long after Cody had arrived in town. Sam also pointed out that Cody had used blackmail as a way to get closer to Britt.

Sam asked what Cody meant, but Britt reentered before Cody could answer. Sam left, and Britt remarked that Cody had just inherited “some major coin.” Just then, Victor appeared outside Britt’s office, and he overheard Britt say that Cody had inherited part of the Ice Princess diamond.

Later, Sam asked Spinelli to hold off on looking into Cody’s arrest record. When Spinelli asked why Sam had changed her mind, Sam said that she had her reasons, and she asked Spinelli to promise to leave the matter alone.

At the Metro Court, Robert wondered why Holly looked so grim. Holly said that Lucy and Anna were both on her mind. Holly told Robert how much it had meant to her that Robert had never lost hope in finding her. Holly changed the subject back to Lucy and Anna. Robert said he knew that Anna was somewhere safe. Robert’s phone rang, and he asked the caller to text him the address to Anna’s safe house. Holly spilled her drink (on purpose), and she asked Robert to bring her a club soda. When Robert left, Holly looked at Robert’s phone, and she saw the address that had been texted. Robert returned, and Holly left with the excuse that she had made an appointment with Kevin to help treat her memory issues. On an elevator, Holly phoned Victor to ask for a meeting.

At Pier 55 on the Waterfront District, Laura ran into Victor. Laura had been on her way to visit Nikolas at Wyndemere, and Victor offered to share a launch. Laura refused. Victor asked Laura to drop her “pointless vendetta” against him. Laura said that when she sorted everything out, she would take Victor down.

Victor claimed that he was saddened by Laura’s “stubborn refusal” to let the past be the past. Laura accused Victor of having framed Anna for Lucy’s murder. Victor said he wanted Lucy’s killer brought to justice. Laura agreed that it was something they both had in common, and she left.

Later, Holly met Victor at the pier, and she reluctantly gave Victor the same address that had been texted to Robert. Victor was surprised by how easily Holly had volunteered the information, and he said that Holly would have to alert the police to Anna’s whereabouts herself. Victor left after he received a text.

At the Port Charles Police Station, Mac and Dante overheard Agent Witten tell someone over the phone to keep an eye on Valentin because Valentin could lead the Marshal’s office straight to Anna. Mac and Dante returned to the interrogation room. Mac shared that Cody wasn’t his son. Dante sympathized with Mac, and Felicia entered with food for Mac and Dante. Dante left to get coffee.

Felicia thought that Mac had been lying about his true feelings about the results of Cody’s DNA tests. Mac said he had more pressing issues to worry about, and he referenced that Anna was being framed for murder and that a serial killer was on the loose. Felicia pleaded with Mac to be honest with her about his feelings about Cody’s DNA results.

Mac acknowledged that he did wish he had a biological child so that he could share the bond that Felicia has with Maxie.

Dante returned with coffee, and moments later, Witten entered the interrogation room with Laura. Witten announced that he had a lead on Anna’s whereabouts, and he offered to let Mac and Dante ride with him.

Felicia received a text from Mac, and she shared that Witten’s van had pulled up outside the suspected safe house. Felicia added that Witten wouldn’t hesitate to “take Anna down” if Anna refused to surrender willingly. Laura hoped that Mac and Dante could get Anna out of the house safely.

At the safe house, Anna was surprised when Valentin had appeared. After Valentin entered, Anna pulled him close for a kiss. Valentin told Anna that it was no longer safe for her to be at the safe house, and he wanted to get Anna out of the country.

Afterwards, Valentin held Anna, and he swore that he would always fight for her. Later, Anna walked down the stairs with a suitcase. She and Valentin heard the sound of an approaching car. The two prepared to say goodbye, and they swore to bring Victor down.

At the same time, in an outdoor area near a house, Witten announced to his men that he had two SWAT agents stationed near the back of the house, and he instructed Dante to get in position to take a shot if necessary. Witten’s team entered the house with a battering ram. Once inside, Witten was stunned to find the place completely empty. Witten yelled for his men to find out how Anna had escaped. Mac asked Witten what he thought had happened. “Either the anonymous caller got it wrong and gave us a bad tip, or they got it right and we got here too late,” Witten snapped.

Dante wondered who had called in the tip. Mac said that Witten had learned a valuable lesson, not to underestimate Anna Devane.

Alone at the docks, Holly flashed back to the sound of two gunshots. Holly was startled when she turned to see Robert. “You’ve got some explaining to do,” Robert told Holly.

At the hospital, Spinelli told Sam that he had found a juvenile arrest record for Cody.

Update written by Shane

Sasha and Gladys were sitting at a table at the Metro Court restaurant when Sonny came in. Sasha thanked him for the flowers on what would have been Liam’s first birthday. Sonny said that it was important to remember birthdays.  Gladys joked that Sonny could go right ahead and forget her next one if he liked.  Sonny asked Sasha if she would allow him to say a few words that he knew that Brando would have wanted him to say.  When Sasha nodded, Sonny told Sasha and Gladys that there is nothing more important than family and that Liam would always be in their hearts.

Sonny asked how the guardianship arrangement was going, and Gladys told him about the deal she had to approve for Sasha at Deception to appease the investors. Sonny wondered if Sasha had seen the changes that the new chef had made in the kitchen yet, and he invited her along for a tour.

After the tour of the kitchen, Sonny took Sasha aside and admitted that he’d wanted a “one-on-one” with her to check in about how Gladys was really doing as guardian. Sasha responded that, after she and Gladys’ had their initial disagreement over the recent deal, Sasha had realized that Gladys was only trying to protect Sasha’s share in the company. She told Sonny that Gladys’ intentions were genuine and she knew that she was only trying to watch out for her in the long run.

Britt took a sip of her drink at the Metro Court bar and immediately launched back into coughing fits. Brad approached and advised her to do something about the cough, and she snapped, “Which one of us is the doctor?” She apologized and said that she’d had a bad day. She then remarked that she would “never get into heaven” so on that night she wanted to raise hell with Brad. He saw right through the act and wondered aloud what was going on with her.  At first, he quizzed her about Cody, but when Britt asked if he saw Cody, he changed the topic. Selina approached and in typical Selina fashion interrupted their conversation. Selina was pleased to see Brad enjoying a night out after a hard day at work and she was also happy he had a reliable friend. Britt pointedly promised that she had Brad’s back if anyone ever tried to hurt him. Brad looked at Britt like she had officially lost her mind. Selina advised the bartender to put their drinks on her tab, and walked away.

Brad was shocked at the way Britt had talked to Selina, because as he said no one spoke to Selina like that, at least no one who expected to live long. Britt replied that Selina didn’t scare her anymore and then dropped another bombshell when she casually admitted to Brad that Selina had blackmailed her into insisting that Brad work for her and not for GH. Brad insisted that he actually liked working with his aunt, so both she and Britt had actually done him a favor. He knew that she was dealing with something big and asked how he could help her out in return. She replied that it was nothing that alcohol and music wouldn’t fix. She grabbed his hand, and the two ran out to go to the Savoy.

Gladys approached Selina at a table and said that it was nice to see a “fellow investor.” Selina expressed her sympathy about Brando. Gladys commented that she and Sasha were looking after each other,  after the court had made it clear that what was Sasha’s was Gladys’. Seeing an entrance, Selina mentioned her “private party” she held occasionally at the Savoy, and she wondered how Gladys felt about Texas Hold ‘Em. “I’m not disinterested,” Gladys replied. Selina handed Gladys a card with information about the game and advised her to keep it private.

Sonny and Sasha approached Gladys and Selina, and Sonny mentioned that he  didn’t know that they were acquainted. Selina replied that they were “potential business associates.” “What kind of business?” a suspicious Sonny asked. Selina was glad to see Sasha doing better, and Sasha replied that she was getting help from friends. Selina hoped that Sasha would consider her a friend, as well, and she left as Sonny glared at Gladys. Sasha hugged Gladys for always having her best interest at heart. “Of course. Always,” Gladys replied as she held the card behind her back.

At the police station, Dante was talking with an officer when he spotted Sam. She’d decided to visit him at work, but she insisted that the surprise she had for him should be “private.” They went into the interrogation room, and he was delighted to open the bag she handed him and find “a hoagie from Sal’s.” As he ate, he vented about his assigned investigation into Anna. Sam was surprised when he mentioned that Sonny could be involved, and he asked about any safe houses she could direct him to. Sam said that Anna was a “super-spy” and would be far away from Port Charles by now.

After Dante’s sandwich, the two of them dreamed about winning the lottery and taking the kids on a vacation to Iceland before they became too old to want to go anywhere with them.

Nikolas let Elizabeth into Esme’s room, and they found Esme passed out on the floor. Elizabeth examined Esme and lied to Nikolas that the baby was in distress, so they needed to call an ambulance or risk a miscarriage. Because Nikolas didn’t like either of those options, Elizabeth advised him to get a knife from the kitchen so she could sterilize it and do a C-section.  “Without anesthesia?” Nikolas replied in disbelief.  “That just seems so inhumane.”  Elizabeth, continuing with the ruse, told Nikolas he needed to get his priorities straight and then she began to “prep” Esme for the procedure. But, at that moment Esme had reached her limit, “Get your grubby paws off me and my baby!” Esme screamed as she came off the floor.

Elizabeth smiled  and gave a sideways glance at Esme, saying she knew that playing Esme would be the only way to cure her. Esme yelled that Elizabeth was supposed to help her, but Elizabeth had zero sympathy for Esme because of what she had done to Cameron. As Nikolas and Elizabeth left the room, Elizabeth was put off by Esme’s cries for help. Esme couldn’t believe she had been outsmarted by Elizabeth.  Esme realized the baby was kicking. She wondered if the baby would be a soccer player. She began to laugh uncontrollably and then the laughter eventually turned to tears.

Downstairs at Wyndemere, Elizabeth asked what Nikolas’ endgame was. Nikolas thought that he would fly Esme to Cassadine Island, where she would live out the rest of her days after giving birth. He begged Elizabeth not to say anything to the police, and when she agreed, he replied that he owed her. Elizabeth insisted that Esme have the baby at Wyndemere, and she would serve as the nurse.

On the phone with Martin, Laura insisted that she was getting some take-out for the two of them, as they were family. She didn’t want to get his hopes up, but she revealed that there were a lot of people risking their lives trying to find Lucy.

Inside Haven Bistro, Robert and Holly were enjoying some private time together without people coming up to tell Holly how pleased they were that she was back. He talked about how worried he was about Anna, who he hadn’t heard from since her escape. Laura arrived and sat down with them while she waited for her take-out order. Laura explained to Holly that she had discovered she had two brothers, and Martin’s relationship with Lucy. Laura continued that Martin was convinced of Anna’s guilt because of the video “evidence.” Holly went on a passionate tirade against gaslighting. When she calmed down, she claimed that she knew what it was like to lose someone, and how many ways there were to lose them. She said she just knew that Anna wasn’t responsible.

Laura commented that Holly sounded sure of herself, and she wondered if Holly knew something that they didn’t. Holly abruptly excused herself to get some air. Laura was suspicious of Holly, but Robert thought that it was a big jump to think that Holly was working with Victor. Laura knew that Robert loved Holly, but she believed that he knew deep down that Holly was hiding something.

Outside, Holly ran through the evening of Lucy’s shooting in her mind: Lucy looking worried, begging for her life, shots being fired, Lucy falling into the water, a woman discarding the weapon and a wig in a bag, and then the woman turns to reveal her true face, it is Holly.

Update written by Shane

As Nina clears leaves off of a park bench, Sonny came from behind and startled her. She reminded him that Halloween was over and she was going to be less forgiving about being scared. He told her about wanting to help Carly out after taking Josslyn home, but as it turns out, Carly had all the help she needed from Drew. Nina noted that there had been no new victims in weeks, but Sonny made it clear that the suspect had to be caught. Nina told Sonny that if she needed to “step back” until the threat from the killer was over, she would. Nina said that she knew Sonny’s priority was his kids, but he informed her that Carly was aware that he would not be walking away from Nina.

Elsewhere in the park, Willow and Michael sat on a bench and watched Wiley playing in the leaves. Michael told her that there would be times when their children would get along and times when they wouldn’t. He added that the kids would have each other and them.

T.J. showed up, and Michael excused himself to take a work phone call. T.J. guessed that Willow hadn’t told Michael anything about her illness yet, but Willow said that she intended to tell him after her latest test results. T.J. thought that Willow sounded as though she’d already given up, but she assured him that she hadn’t. T.J. promised that she wouldn’t be alone, and they shared a hug. Just then, Nina and Sonny headed in their direction, and Nina shook her head in disbelief.

Wiley ran over to hug Sonny and Nina, and Willow pulled him away. She told Sonny that she’d arrange a date for him to see Wiley soon, and Nina did her best to get Sonny to leave. Michael rushed over to intervene, but Nina announced that she and Sonny were leaving. After they had gone, Michael asked about them, but Willow told him, she believe Nina had finally relented that she had no place in Wiley’s life.

Willow received a message that the babysitter had car trouble and would be late. She asked T.J. to take her to the hospital for her appointment and suggested that Michael take Wiley home to wait for the sitter. She confirmed that she would meet Michael at the hospital. Michael seemed fine with that even though T.J. looked suspicious.

Sonny told Nina that he was surprised she’d backed off so quickly, but she told him that being around his family was often painful. Nina told Sonny that she believed T.J. and Willow were having an affair, but Sonny found it hard to believe. Nina explained how she had often seen the couple embracing and whispering along with tears. She suspected she could be wrong, and that was why she hadn’t told Sonny previously because she knew he would feel he had to tell Michael.  Sonny said that was exactly what he was not going to do.  The two of them were going to stay out of it and Michael didn’t need to know any of it.  But, Michael was following Sonny and Nina closely and demanded to know what Sonny had said that he “didn’t need to know.”

Elizabeth arrived home with Terry and wondered what she might say to Finn about the trip. She couldn’t believe what she had learned from her parents. Later, there was a knock at the door.  Elizabeth went to it and opened it, only to find Finn standing there.

At Wyndemere, Esme stood in her locked room and tried to figure out a way to get out through the window. Nikolas walked in, and while she claimed that she only wanted fresh air for the baby, Nikolas replied that he knew otherwise. He assured her that his staff had been paid to look the other way, and Esme could make as much noise as she wanted. Esme reiterated that she was not the Hooker, and Nikolas noted that the attacks had stopped since she’d been locked up. He left and relocked the door.

Elsewhere at Windemere, Victor finished up a phone call to Johann, telling him that the necklace he was looking for could be their “final act.” Nikolas walked in and demanded to know why Victor was there. Victor announced that he would be moving back soon and had wanted to check out his room. Nikolas apologized and stated that he was distracted, while Victor announced that something big was going to happen, and he needed a “united front.”

Nikolas shouted at Victor and said that he was tired of Victor’s speeches that gave little in the way of facts. Victor decided that Nikolas had been loyal, after all, and he realized that Nikolas had been distracted by love. He thought that maybe Nikolas was the “real heir apparent” who should be included in his inner circle.

Laura visited Anna at the local jail and assured her that Valentin and Charlotte were safe. Valentin arrived, and he and Anna shared a kiss through the bars. Anna exclaimed that she had been worried, and Valentin announced that Charlotte was home, thanks to help from Laura and Kevin. Laura revealed that Charlotte would be staying at her place. Anna said that Lucy’s body hadn’t been found, and Laura added that she was aware that Victor had arranged with Deputy Mayor Ashby for the drone to fly over the pier.

Anna insisted that she had not been the one to shoot Lucy, and Laura replied that she would announce that the wrong suspect had been in custody. Valentin vowed to get Anna out, but Anna revealed that she would be leaving for Pentonville that night. Valentin cited that Victor had taken on Luke, Lucy, and Anna, and he wondered what Victor had been trying to protect. Valentin proclaimed that he had a plan, and he and Anna grasped hands.

Back in Robert’s office, Holly finished off her text message to Victor just as Robert walked in. She asked if he had any leads in Lucy’s case, and she suggested that they work together like old times. Robert frowned. Holly continued to press for details, but they were interrupted when Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby barged in. She snapped that she’d heard that Robert had been trying to get Anna out of prison on bail, and she accused him of trying to pull strings. She warned him that she would have to demand his resignation.

Robert replied that he had recused himself from the case, and he pointed out that he was an elected official, Ashby was not the mayor, and he couldn’t resign. Ashby pointed out that the election was in a matter of days, and if she went public, he would not win. She added that she would run the office the way she saw fit until the mayor “graced the city” with her return.

“Well, here I am, Eileen, gracing you,” Laura announced as she stepped into the office. Laura made it clear that she wasn’t happy with Ashby’s falling-out with Robert because she trusted him. She hugged Holly and told her how Robert hadn’t given up hope on her return as quickly as others had. She wondered where Holly had been. Robert informed her that Holly had had a lapse in memory, and Laura suggested that Kevin could help. After suggesting it more than once, Holly shouted a resounding no.

Holly apologized, and Laura announced that she wanted to check in with her family. She also wanted Robert to accompany her out into the hallway. Ashby accused Holly of almost getting them caught, and Holly claimed to not know what Ashby was talking about. Ashby revealed that she was aware that Holly was working with Victor, and he was the one who called the shots.

Out in the hallway, Laura wanted details from Robert. She couldn’t believe that Holly had just shown up, and she wondered if Holly was even telling the truth. Robert reminded her that Holly was the victim, but Laura declared that Holly had been known to mix it up with unsavory people in the past. Robert said that he trusted Holly, and Laura replied that she trusted Robert. They shared a hug.

Robert returned to his office and announced that he had city business. Ashby left, and Holly guessed that Laura had had her doubts about Holly. Robert thought that Laura was just less inclined to trust people, but he trusted Holly, who thought that was all that mattered.

At General Hospital, Heather was wheeled out into the hallway, clad in a straitjacket. She accosted Finn, who was standing by the nurses’ station, and asked why he was scowling. Heather taunted him in sexual terms and admitted that because people thought she was crazy, she had the freedom to say what she wanted. Finn, who had been looking at Elizabeth’s name in his phone contacts list, replied that he was actually happy. He said he planned to give the “all-clear” for Heather to go back to D’Archam.

Heather said that she was under the impression that Finn had wanted to ask her something previously. She guessed that he had been flustered by the mention of Jeff Webber’s name, but Finn replied that he didn’t expect anything coherent from Heather. She told him that years earlier, Jeff had been one who had denied his own shortcomings and never accepted responsibility for his own actions. She suspected that he was still the same. She thought that she had piqued Finn’s curiosity and was willing to discuss it further after certain terms were met. Finn told her he wasn’t interested and dismissed her, just as Valentin stepped off the elevator.

Valentin told Finn that it was time to move on their timeline, and Finn replied that it had all been handled. Just then, Terry arrived, and Finn welcomed her back. He asked about the medical conference and spa. After Terry provided an answer, Finn informed her that he was aware there had been no conference. He added that he was concerned about Elizabeth. Terry suggested that Elizabeth be the one to give him answers.

T.J. grabbed Willow’s hand as they sat and waited in Terry’s office. Terry walked in and sat behind her desk. She had the latest scan results and announced that Willow had Stage 4 leukemia.

Elizabeth heard a knock and opened her front door. It was Finn.

A guard showed up at Anna’s cell, and she guessed it was time for her to depart for Pentonville. He revealed that she was not going there.

Update written by Shane

At Charlie’s Pub, Willow and Michael enjoy a rare date night. Michael apologized for missing Willow’s doctor’s appointment at GH, but she lied and told him that it had been a routine appointment, and everything was fine. Willow briefly replayed T.J.’s words in her head that her Leukemia may have reached State 3 which would seriously limit their treatment options. Michael interrupted Willow’s thoughts. He promised to be by her side at the next checkup. Michael told her that she was stuck with him. After Michael left the table for a moment, Willow checked her phone, but there were no new text messages or voicemails.

Later, Michael noticed that Willow hadn’t touched her food. She admitted that she’d been distracted waiting for the results of her recent tests. Worried, Michael asked about the tests, but Willow rushed to assure him that it had merely been a precaution. Michael reminded Willow that they were a team, but her glance slid to her phone. After the food had been cleared away, Willow broached the subject of marriage. Michael was surprised, but he assured her that he was ready to get married right away. Willow’s eyes welled up with tears as she promised that she never wanted to leave Michael, Wiley, or the baby.

Willow saw that it was Terry, but she told Michael it was “the hospital.”

After a brief exchange with Terry, Willow agreed to meet the doctor the following day to discuss the results. After Willow ended the call, Michael made it clear that he intended to accompany her to the visit. Willow admitted that she wanted Michael to be there.

In Austin’s office at the hospital, Austin announced that he was done with both Mason and Mason’s boss because Austin was a different person now and he had built a life he was proud of in Port Charles. Mason laughed. Maxie barged in and  apologized when she realized that she had walked in on something. “You want to tell her, or should I?” Mason asked his cousin. Austin claimed that Mason had asked Austin to help with some hospital paperwork and Mason’s insurance company. Austin explained that he hadn’t been comfortable crossing any ethical lines, but he reluctantly agreed to look into the matter for Mason.

Maxie felt bad that she had canceled her date with Austin and offered to get something at the Metro Court Restaurant. But, Austin declined the offer saying that he had too much work to do.  Moments later, Austin’s office phone rang. Austin made arrangements to treat a patient that had asked for him in the E.R.

Later when Austin returned from the E.R. to find Mason in his office chair, he furiously ordered Mason out.  The details were not discussed but it was clear that Austin had performed a procedure on a gunshot victim without following the proper protocol of informing the police.

At Metro Court’s restaurant, Spinelli stood on the balcony as he spoke to someone about shutting down Society Setups as quickly as possible. Spinelli told the caller that he was fully aware that the stock had made significant gains, but Spinelli was adamant that the company be shut down. After Spinelli ended the call, he turned and saw Maxie standing in the doorway. Maxie revealed that she’d been waiting for a pickup order, but she was curious about Spinelli’s phone call. “I know the real story behind Society Setups, remember?” Maxie said. Maxie urged Spinelli not to give up because she was certain that Spinelli would find someone else.

At Curtis and Portia’s house, Curtis admitted that he feared the killer would not stop until she had targeted Trina. Jordan promised both Curtis and Portia that the police would do everything possible to keep Trina safe. Curtis realized that Taggert needed to be told, and security would need to be increased. Jordan advised Portia to follow Trina’s lead by carrying on as normally as possible, but Curtis worried that it might impact Curtis and Portia’s wedding plans. Jordan was surprised when Curtis and Portia revealed their plans for a Valentine’s Day wedding. After Curtis left to call Taggert, Jordan asked when Portia intended to tell Curtis the truth.

Portia explained that she needed more time and that she wanted to prevent Trina from any more stress.  Portia wanted to know for sure if Curtis had the genetic markers for schizophrenia before raising the topic with Trina. Jordan said she believed Portia was just stalling and didn’t realize how important the truth was to Curtis.  Portia snapped and told Jordan that she didn’t need her approval to conduct her familial affairs in the way she saw fit.  With that, Jordan said that her business there had been completed and Portia apologized for having snapped.  She explained to Jordan that there were things that she wasn’t aware of that she was dealing with.

After Jordan left, Curtis offered to postpone the wedding, in light of the new information. Portia didn’t really want to give some psychopath that much control over their daily lives and so they agreed to keep the wedding date on Valentine’s Day.  Portia asked Jordan to promise that everything would be OK.  He did and she smiled, but her smile quickly turned to an expression of concern.

At Carly’s house, Josslyn was upset that both her life and Trina’s had just been turned upside down by one visit from Jordan. Carly consoled her, but Josslyn realized that if the Hook killer was targeting people associated with Trina that Cameron was also in serious danger. She made several calls to Cameron but they all went to voicemail. After Josslyn left Cameron an urgent message to call her immediately because he might be in “serious danger,” she sent him a text message. Josslyn grew more anxious when Cameron didn’t reply.

Josslyn grabbed her things and said she was going to Kelly’s to warn Cameron, but Carly forbade her to leave the house when a killer was on the loose. Carly promised to take care of everything, but Carly insisted that Josslyn stay put. Carly called Drew and asked if he could find Cameron and warn him and he said that he didn’t have to.  Drew had found Cameron on the footbridge and they had been talking. She was relieved when he told her that he was with Cameron, but she asked Drew to make certain that Cameron got home safe.

At Kelly’s, Sonny and Nina enjoyed an ice cream sundae. Sonny confessed that he was pleased he and Nina no longer had to hide their relationship. Nina agreed, and she admitted that she’d been touched when Sonny had stood up for her to Carly. “I’m a part of your life, so that makes me a part of your kids’ lives,” Nina said. Sonny admitted that it hadn’t been necessary to tell Carly that because of the way that Avery and Donna had responded to Nina. According to Sonny, his youngest two daughters had made it clear that Nina was already part of the family.

Nina noticed Dex outside in the cold, but Sonny reminded Nina that Dex was working, and the cold made him more alert. Nina admitted that she was still getting used to having a bodyguard, but Sonny made it clear that her safety was paramount to him. After a kiss, Nina confessed that she was happy that both Avery and Donna had accepted her, but she noted that Michael and Josslyn had not. Sonny assured Nina that Michael and Josslyn were a “work in progress,” but Sonny had no intention of giving up. Nina smile and said that it wasn’t Sonny’s style to give up.

Outside, Dex was on guard, but his thoughts were on Josslyn. He recalled their talk in Kelly’s when she had told him that his choices had disappointed her, a comment that had clearly cut Dex to the bone. When Nina popped outside to offer him a cup of hot chocolate, Dex politely declined because he was working. Nina insisted, but Dex didn’t accept the offering until Sonny gave his approval. Nina was thrilled when Dex said that she brought out the best in Sonny.

After Sonny and Nina returned to their table, Josslyn approached the front door to Kelly’s, but she stopped short when she saw Dex. She was irritated when Dex revealed that Sonny and Nina were inside. Josslyn glanced through the window, but she didn’t see Cameron working. She decided to wait outside rather than be around Sonny. Within minutes, Josslyn berated Dex for wanting to work for Sonny. “You have no idea what I want,” Dex said.

Just then, Cameron walked up, and he immediately picked up on the tension between Dex and Josslyn. Josslyn ran to Cameron, threw her arms around him, and told him how relieved she was to see him. Dex averted his attention until he heard Josslyn tell Cameron that Jordan believed the Hook had been after Josslyn the night Brando had been attacked. “Wait, the cops think you were the target?” Dex asked Josslyn.

Josslyn explained that all the victims had been linked to Trina’s trial. Josslyn reminded Cameron and Dex that Ava had been Trina’s mentor, Diane had been Trina’s attorney, and Oz Haggerty had exonerated Trina. Josslyn warned Cameron that they were both in danger because both Josslyn and Cameron had testified as defense witnesses. Dex decided that Sonny should be told, but Josslyn objected. Dex asked if her pride was more important than being targeted by a killer.

Moments later, Dex, Josslyn, and Cameron approached Sonny. Dex explained that there was something Sonny needed to know. Sonny left to take Josslyn home as Cameron closed up. Dex assured Cameron that he would return after he dropped off Nina, but Cameron declined being “escorted” home. Dex reminded Cameron that Sonny had ordered Dex to escort Cameron home, but Cameron was adamant in his refusal. Cameron said, “I don’t work for Sonny.”  Nina sided with Dex and asked Cameron if he was sure he didn’t want someone to see that he got home safely.

After Dex and Nina left, Cameron recalled how Josslyn had run into his arms. The memory made him smile.

At Carly’s house, Carly was surprised when Drew stopped by to check on her. She reminded him that they had agreed to be careful, but Drew admitted that he’d heard the tension in her voice during their phone call. He assured Carly that Cameron was safe, and Drew had dropped Cameron off at Kelly’s. Grateful, Carly decided to let Josslyn know, but Josslyn was nowhere to be seen. Carly called out to her daughter, but she was met with silence.

Carly was furious when she realized that Josslyn had slipped out to check on Cameron at Kelly’s. Carly called her daughter’s phone, but the calls went to voicemail, and Carly’s text messages went unanswered. Drew reminded Carly that she would have done the same thing at Josslyn’s age. Carly agreed, but she had hoped that her daughter would have been smarter. Carly grabbed her jacket with the intention of driving to Kelly’s, but Drew insisted on taking Carly. Carly argued that they couldn’t be seen together, but Drew argued that Josslyn was more important than the SEC.

As Carly opened the door for her and Drew to exit, she found Sonny and Josslyn on the doorstep.  Sonny explained that Josslyn had told him about Jordan’s concerns and that he had decided to bring Josslyn home while Dex saw to getting Cameron home safely.  Carly thanked Sonny for bringing Josslyn home and after he left, she told Drew he had to leave also, so that Sonny would see him leave.  He agreed, but not before kissing Carly goodnight.  After the kiss, Drew left and Carly closed the mansion door, unaware that Josslyn had seen the whole thing.

Update written by Shane

In California, after Jeff tells Elizabeth that she pushed Reiko down the stairs in a fit of anger, Elizabeth refuses to believe him or anything her parents have to say. Jeff explains she saw him with Reiko in his room, Reiko ran out, and Elizabeth followed her to the top of the stairs. Elizabeth has a flashback and can hear herself arguing with Reiko, and Carolyn realizes it’s all coming back to her.

Elizabeth recalls fighting with Reiko and asking how dare she do this to her mother, and calling her a homewrecker and that she’s not the first and she won’t be the last. Elizabeth threatened Reiko that she was going to tell her mother, and then find her husband and tell him. Elizabeth recalls Reiko grabbing her and telling her she couldn’t do that. As they fought, Reiko tumbled down the stairs. Elizabeth cries to her parents, “I did it, it was me.”

Elizabeth doesn’t remember if she pushed Reiko or if it was an accident, and Jeff admits he didn’t see what happened. Jeff explains Reiko had a concussion and internal bleeding from the fall. Reiko required a blood transfusion after the fall, and that’s how she contracted the disease that killed her. Carolyn goes on to explain Elizabeth was a minor, and they had to protect her from the legal system in the Mariana Islands, so they put in for an immediate transfer.

Elizabeth realizes Reiko died because of her. Carolyn notes that this is not entirely true. Elizabeth doesn’t understand why she blocked all of this out. Carolyn explains she didn’t at first, and she had terrible nightmares and sleepwalking episodes. Carolyn began coaching her to suppress the memory, and they sent her away so their presence wouldn’t cause the memory to return. Carolyn and Jeff never wanted to abandon her, but they thought it was better to lose their relationship with her than lose her forever. Elizabeth thinks they sent her away because they wanted to protect their reputations.

At the park, as Carly is about to tell Sam about her newfound relationship with Drew, he appears and suggests he be the one to tell Sam. He says they realized down in Florida that they made a good team, and came back with a renewed sense of purpose. Spinelli appears, and Drew asks to run something by Carly in private. They head off, and Sam says she is waiting for someone to tell her something that she already knows.

In private, Drew tells Carly that she cannot tell Sam or anyone about them. He explains Ned’s threat that they could be guilty of insider trading. Carly laughs it off and says that the whole thing is absurd. But, Drew says that he had a legal consultant look it over and that they both could both be looking at fines and jail time if the truth got out. He says for now they have to create some distance between them and let this blow over. Drew explains they can’t be in a public relationship. Carly understands and says that she is fine with going off grid to maintain their relationship.

Meanwhile, Sam asks Spinelli to help in finding out what Cody is hiding, and suggests using his algorithm. Spinelli reminds her that she wanted him to destroy it because it could get him sent to jail. She figures they could use it for good and explain Cody’s interest in the necklace that he and Britt found and why he didn’t want Sam looking into its origins.

Carly and Drew return and say goodbye to Sam and Spinelli before taking off. Sam continues talking to Spinelli about Cody, and feels they need to learn all they can about him. She points out he could be Maxie and Georgie’s family, and she doesn’t want to see Dante hurt either. Spinelli agrees and tells Sam he is at her service.

At Carly’s place, Joss and Trina compare their weekends. Joss confesses she and Cam finally slept together again. She had hoped that it would fix what is wrong in their relationship but she tells Trina that it didn’t. Joss blames Esme for not being able to enjoy her first time. Trina tells Josslyn she can not let Esme ruin her relationship forever. Trina tells Joss to stop trying to get back to where she and Cam were, but instead focus on their future. Joss thanks her for the advice.

Trina opens up to Joss about her stay with Rory at their hotel and tells Joss that just as things got intense, she imagined she was with Spencer. Joss says it’s clear she still has feelings for him. Joss admits to Trina that she and Cam visited Spencer and she tells Trina he wanted to know how she was doing and if she was happy. Trina realizes that is the reason behind the missed call she got from him. Joss says she believes Spencer has a good heart, but that doesn’t mean he deserves her. Trina feels she should put her focus on the good guy she has in front of her, just like Joss is doing with Cam.

At Charlie’s, Cody walks in as Britt is telling Scott and Obrecht about Peter’s necklace. Cody sits down, and Scott tells him he knows trouble when he sees it. Cody apologizes for sucker-punching him, and all he’d like is a do-over. Scott asks why? Cody explains he’s important to Britt’s mom, and Britt is important to him. He also knows how much he loved his biological mother, and he’s sorry they both lost her. Scott says that was a very long time ago.

Britt and Obrecht rejoin Cody and Scott, who are talking about Serina’s concern for Lucy. Obrecht asks if Cody plans on staying in Port Charles. Cody assures her that he is going to stick around as he likes Port Charles, and his job. Scott knows he has a reason given the DNA test he took, and he knows all about the fact that Cody may be Mac’s son. As they talk, Britt coughs after taking a sip of wine. When she continues to have coughing spells, Obrecht looks concerned.

At The Invader, Alexis picks up the phone and has her assistant call for Commissioner Ashford.  She says, “tell the commissioner I just received a letter from The Hook killer.”

Dante and Jordan arrive and take the letter into custody. In it, the killer explains they are not hungry for fame or targeting people at random. They are targeting those who have wronged them. The killer tells Alexis to leave them be or she would regret it and ends by saying they are off to see the wizard. Alexis assumes that is a reference to Oz Haggerty. Dante and Jordan leave and Jordan tells Alexis to not tell anyone about the letter.

Jordan and Dante are barely out the door as Alexis calls Gregory and spills everything to him. She also takes out a copy of the letter that she made before the police arrived.

Later, Jordan arrives at Carly’s house and when Josslyn asks her if she is there to see her mother, Jordan informs her that her business concerns both her and Trina.  Moments later, Carly and Drew say their goodbyes with a kiss and Carly enters the mansion.  She approaches Jordan, Josslyn and Trina and asks what is going on.  It is then that Jordan informs Carly that Brando was not the intended target of the Hook Killer.  Josslyn was the true target.  Jordan then confirms Trina’s worst fear, she is the common thread that ties all of the victims together.

Update written by Dustin

Outside at the Metro Court sponsored pumpkin farm, Carly tells Sam that since she returned from Jacksonville, she feels more leveled and centered than she did before she left.  No sooner than she gets these words out of her mouth, she sees Sonny and Nina with Avery and Donna and totally zones out.  She immediately approaches Sonny.  Sonny and Nina both tell the girls to look that their Mom is home.  The kids rush to hug her and it becomes really awkward when Carly mentions they should have a sleepover soon and the girls ask if Aunt Nina can come. Carly frowns and asks Sonny if they can have a word in private. Sam takes the kids away to give Carly time with Sonny.

Carly takes Sonny aside and lets him have it for having sleepovers with “Aunt Nina,” she also brings up the fact that she specifically asked Sonny not to have Nina over when Donna was present. Sonny explains it wasn’t anything like that. They simply had a pizza party and watches movies. Carly quickly realizes that she overstepped and apologizes to Sonny.  She thanks him for respecting her boundaries and Sonny says that he has respected her boundaries but that they’re not working for him anymore.

Carly looks like she’s prepared for a fight.

Sam leaves the kids with Danny and Rocco. She explains she’s there to support Carly.

Meanwhile, Sonny explains that Nina wasn’t a part of his life but she is now, and it’s official. “Congratulations,” Carly says.

Sonny says he didn’t agree to put his life on hold indefinitely. Sonny says if Carly was seeing someone, he wouldn’t ask her to keep Donna from them. “Who says that I’m not?” She all but admits to seeing someone and Sonny agrees to be careful when he explains things to their kids. When Sonny and Carly rejoin the kids, Nina attempts to say something to Carly but Carly is not having it.  She tells Nina to let Sonny speak for issues involving their children. She makes it clear that she has nothing to say to Nina in any other capacity.

They all disperse before things get too heated and Sam takes Carly aside to ask what happened in Jacksonville. Carly reminisces about Drew.

Elizabeth confronts her parents about Reiko’s death and the images she has been having.  At first, her parents act aloof, but after she confesses to having images, losing time and even attacking Chase, her parents come clean.  Yes, Elizabeth’s father was having an affair with Reiko but it was not Elizabeth’s father that pushed her down the stairs. Elizabeth’s father tells her there is much more to that and then admits it was Elizabeth that pushed Reiko down the stairs.

Drew and Scout visit Alexis in her office at The Invader, with Scout dressed as a butterfly for Halloween. Drew and Alexis think she looks great. She dances around with her wings floating and takes some candy from Alexis.

Drew tells Alexis that he knows she is no longer a practicing attorney but he has a hypothetical situation for her.  He presents his situation with Carly and the ELQ/Aurora merger and asks if that would constitute insider trading.

“Hell Yes!” Alexis responds. She tells him that it is textbook insider trading and that both parties could serve prison time. She goes on to tell him that it would be much harder for charges to stick if he and the “friend” that he mentioned were just casual acquaintances rather than having a family or romantic involvement.  Drew looks horrified.

Back at the pumpkin farm, Sonny says hello to Holly and introduces her to Nina.  Holly makes an excuse and leaves the three of them quickly. Later, she is seen giving information to an unknown caller about Robert’s efforts to get another judge to intervene on Anna’s behalf.  Sonny asks Robert if he would like to work together to help Anna.  Robert says what did you have in mind?  He asks Sonny if this has something to do with Anna breaking out of jail and living on the run?  Robert tells Sonny not to worry that he has everything under control.

Sam asks Carly if Drew was with her in Jacksonville.  Carly says that he was and that he was very helpful in securing a place to move her mother’s remains.  Sam says she finds it awkward that they were there for weeks and yet Carly has barely mentioned him. Carly does her best to avoid the details of the situation, knowing that it could be painful for Sam. But, then Carly says, “there is something that you should know.”  Drew is approaching Carly when he hears her say this.

In Switzerland, Valentin is being tailed by Victor’s men wherever he goes and he can not shake them.  He is shocked and glad to see Laura when she knocks one of Victor’s men out cold with a candlestick. She tells him Anna sent her.  They talk about Lucy’s shooting and how Victor has set Anna up to take the fall for the crime. They’re interrupted by another one of Victor’s men. He says hello to the “sister,” and knows Valentin is Charlotte’s daughter but asks for the nun’s name. Laura lies that it’s Sister Margaret. Victor’s goon hears one of his associates at the front of the church on the floor, moaning.  Sister Margaret tells him it is a man who got drunk on the communion wine. The man tells Laura that his co-worker only drinks Vodka as he raises his gun.  This time, Valentin wields the candlestick and the man is left unconscious on the floor. “Father Kevin” shows up and hugs Laura. The three of them agree they need to get Charlotte.

Update written by Shane

At Carly’s house, Bobbie and Carly sat at the kitchen table.  Bobbie said she was excited to see what was to come in the next chapter of Carly’s life. Carly, who had just returned from Jacksonville, said that she had suffered a “crisis of identity” when she had gone to Florida and she added that she had decided she would not be keeping the name, Corinthos. Carly did not mention what had happened with Drew in Florida to Bobbie. Carly did ask Bobbie what she thought of her taking the family name of Spencer. Bobbie said it was fitting and she hugged Carly.

At Elizabeth’s house, Cameron thought that he and Josslyn had grown closer because Josslyn had stayed over the previous night. He seemed relieved that maybe they had put the shame of the leaked sex tape behind them. However, when Josslyn started to leave she ran into Finn. Josslyn excused herself and said she was just on her way to class.  Cameron began an awkward conversation with Finn who finally asked Cameron outright if Josslyn had spent the night. Cameron quickly told Finn that it was none of his business. Finn said that it was obvious that Josslyn had spent the night, but that he had no intention of telling Elizabeth but added that he thought Cameron should tell his mother the truth.  He reiterated that he was only there to check on the boys as he promised Elizabeth he would do while she was away. Cameron blurted out how odd it was thinking of his Mom being in the same city where his grandparents live.  Finn asked him to repeat what he had said.  It became obvious to Cameron that Finn didn’t know that Elizabeth’s parents also live in Monterey.  Cameron had just inadvertently informed Finn that Elizabeth was, in fact, not attending a medical conference but attempting to gain some clarity on the visions that she had been having about her past.  Cameron offered Finn some advice for being there for Elizabeth without acting like she needed to be saved.  Finn later thanked him for the pep talk. Finn left Elizabeth’s house shaken by the news of Elizabeth’s true reasoning for going to Monterey.

At Oscar’s gravesite, Drew visited Oscar on what would have been his birthday. Drew said that when he had been held captive, he had often closed his eyes and thought of Oscar and Scout. Josslyn appeared with flowers, and she and Drew hugged. Drew said he would leave to give Josslyn some privacy.  But, before he left, he thanked Josslyn for being a part of Oscar’s life. Josslyn spoke to Oscar and confessed to him that things hadn’t been the same between her and Cameron since the sex tape. Josslyn said that she worried Cameron wouldn’t “be able to handle” losing her.

In the kitchen of the Quartermaine mansion, Ned informed Michael that Valentin had been missing for several days. Ned asked if Michael had been behind Valentin’s disappearance and accused Michael of calling immigration to cause trouble for Valentin. Ned had gotten this idea because Sonny had pulled the same stunt in the past with Jax. Michael told Ned that he was nothing like Sonny. Ned quickly responded by saying that Michael was just like Sonny and at that point the conversation quickly turned into a screaming match that Olivia promptly ended by screaming herself and pounding on the table. Olivia left the kitchen to find Brook Lynn to help play referee. Olivia was mortified when she walked into Brook Lynn’s room and found Chase lying on the bed, naked. Ned and Michael were still arguing when Brook Lynn entered.  Olivia and Chase entered just after Brook Lynn and everyone wanted to know why Olivia and Chase were acting so awkward. Olivia admitted that she had walked in on Chase while he was wearing no clothes.  Ned glared at Brook Lynn like she owed him an explanation.  So, Brook Lynn admitted that she and Chase had spent the previous night together. Brook Lynn joked that everyone at the Quartermaine mansion had seen Chase naked, but Olivia quipped that Monica hadn’t, even though it was Monica’s house. “Alan gave it to her!” Chase exclaimed. Everyone had a quick laugh at the tension that was palpable.

Olivia (distracting herself and everyone else) offered to drive Willow to the hospital for her prenatal checkup, and the two left. Later, Drew arrived at the mansion. Drew told Ned that he had gone to Oscar’s Meadow. Drew recalled that Ned and Olivia had been so very kind to Oscar during his last days, and he pleaded with Ned to help fix whatever was broken in their family. Michael said that Ned could not be reasoned with. Ned pointed out that Michael still went by the Corinthos name, and he added that Michael was only a Quartermaine when it was convenient. Ned then lashed out at Drew and said that Drew’s nice-guy act was really starting to wear thin. “Wow! Okay, fine, Ned. The gloves are off, and you are not gonna like the moves that I make to get you and Valentin out,” Drew boasted. “Really? And how do you plan on doing that when you’re facing an insider-trading charge?” Ned asked a shocked Drew.

Drew tried to laugh off Ned’s accusation, but Ned explained that, as Michael’s mother, Carly had been told about the potential merger of Aurora and ELQ and that it had been the only reason why Carly had purchased Aurora shares, which then cost her the Metro Court. “That’s called insider trading, and it’s illegal. Martha Stewart went to prison for much less,” Ned said. Ned told Drew and Michael that they were fortunate that no one knew about what happened to Carly. He also threatened Drew and Michael and told them not to forget that he had knowledge of what had happened. He made it clear that he could put Michael and Drew away if he saw fit to do so. Ned left, and Michael scoffed at him and said that Ned was bluffing. Drew had nothing to say. It was clear that he was in deep thought.

In an exam room at the hospital, Britt remarked that certain areas around Willow’s lymph nodes appeared inflamed. Britt stepped out of the room to call Terry, who advised Britt to schedule an ultrasound on Willow’s liver. Alone in the room with T.J., Willow asked what Britt was so concerned about. T.J. said that if Willow’s liver and lymph nodes were swollen, it could mean that Willow’s cancer had advanced to Stage 3, which might limit their ability to treat her leukemia.

Later, Olivia greeted Finn near the hospital elevators. Olivia started to get a headache, and she asked if Finn had ever had the feeling that someone had just walked over his grave. Olivia then caught sight of a blonde-haired woman in chains and an orange prison jumpsuit. “Hello, Olivia!” the woman said. Olivia screamed when she realized the woman was Heather Webber.

Heather accused Olivia of letting her son rot in prison while Olivia had “traded up” to marry a Quartermaine. She then laughed like a mad woman as she was led away by guards. Afterwards, Finn asked Olivia who the woman was. “Don’t you know? That’s Heather Webber!”

In Monterey, Elizabeth and Terry sat in a car outside Elizabeth’s parents’ home.  Terry informed Elizabeth that her parents had agreed to meet Terry for coffee. Elizabeth planned to break into her parents home to search for clues about Reiko’s death by going through some old diaries that her parents’ had kept. Meanwhile, Terry would meet with Jeff and Carolyn to give Elizabeth enough time to search. Elizabeth flashed back to her first day in Port Charles outside Audrey’s house when she had told Sarah, “The stork brought me! Remember?” Elizabeth smiled at the memory.

Elizabeth left the car, entered her parent’s home and was able to silence the alarm. She stared at different family photos on the mantel and seemed overwhelmed by the memories they brought back. Elizabeth picked up a photo of her and Sarah and she held it closely against her chest. Elizabeth was startled to hear the doorknob rattle. An older man with gray hair entered.

“Elizabeth?” the man asked.

“Dad,” said Elizabeth.

Update written by Shane

Victor and Nikolas argued over Nikolas’ relationship with Ava.  Victor told him that Helena had indulged him too much and that it was time that he embraced his future as a Cassadine without Ava.

At Nina’s apartment, Ava opened the confession letter that Nikolas had given her and found the note that Victor had left for her, which said “missing something?”  Ava showed the note to Nina and they both initially misconstrued the circumstances surrounding it.  They each blamed Nikolas for stealing the note rather than placing the blame with Victor.  Ava seemed furious and vowed to get revenge on Nikolas.  Nina asked her what she planned to do. Nina added that Nikolas stealing the confession letter didn’t make sense.  Ava said that she was absolutely right and that she didn’t think that Nikolas had stolen the letter.  She also showed Nina the confession that Nikolas had recorded on her phone.

At the salon, Holly soaked her feet and declared Felicia a genius. Felicia smiled because she had been worried that Holly had been humoring her by agreeing to go to the salon. Holly confessed that she had been, but the pedicure had changed her mind. Felicia was pleased and hoped that Holly would stop lying to her. Holly argued that the stiff upper lip was the British way and acknowledged that she felt confused and a little embarrassed because she had always prided herself on being able to take care of herself but someone had clearly gotten the better of her. The conversation turned to Luke’s death, and the investigation into the possibility that Victor was behind it. Holly admitted that she had trouble believing that Luke was really dead, but Holly wanted to help uncover the truth about the cable car crash. Felicia giggled out loud as she recalled the slap Holly had given Victor. “Trust me, I’m just getting started,” Holly said.

At the PCPD jail, Anna rested on a cot as Mac arrived to check on her. Anna stood up and admitted that she’d been going stir crazy, while Victor had been getting away with murder. Robert came in beaming with joy as he shared the news that Holly had returned. Mac was happy for his brother, and Anna was eager for news about her friend. Robert explained that physically, Holly was fine, but she had no memory of the past two years. Anna was desperate to get out of jail, but she conceded that the police had incriminating evidence against her. Robert revealed that he had to recuse himself from the case, so Anna would have to wait for her arraignment. Anna implored Robert to call Valentin to let Valentin know what had happened. Robert was reluctant, but Anna explained that she was concerned because all her calls had gone to voicemail, and Victor had made Valentin’s travel arrangements. She suspected Victor had intended to keep Valentin from interfering in Victor’s efforts to frame her for murder. After Robert left to make the call, Anna took the opportunity to warn Mac that Deputy Mayor Ashby was in cahoots with Victor.

Anna explained that Lucy had overheard Victor and Ashby’s phone conversation the night before Lucy had been shot. Just then, Robert returned to report that his call to Valentin had gone to voicemail. Anna’s concern mounted, but Holly’s arrival offered a brief respite. After Holly exchanged greetings with everyone, Holly passed along a message from Felicia for Mac to meet Felicia at the hospital. Mac wanted to postpone the DNA test, but both Anna and Robert insisted it was too important for Mac to miss. Mac left, so Robert and Anna filled Holly in about the incriminating evidence against Anna. Robert confirmed that a box of bullets had been found in Anna’s home that had matched both the brand and caliber of the casing recovered from the pier. Holly agreed that it sounded like a setup. Anna revealed that she had recognized the trench coat worn by the shooter, which Anna suspected had been taken from her home — along with Anna’s gun — when the bullets had been planted. Robert admitted that forensics had found gunpowder on the trench coat.

Anna was certain Victor had arranged everything. Holly pointed out that the WSB might intervene, but Anna explained that she’d been digging into Luke’s murder privately because the case had been closed when someone had confessed to sabotaging the cable car that had killed Luke. Holly was curious why Victor would target Luke in the first place, so Anna told Holly about Victor’s search for the Ice Princess. Holly asked how many people had to die for the infamous diamond. “Far too many,” Anna said.

Holly recalled that Luke had once mentioned that Helena Cassadine had put a curse on the jewels. Anna told Holly how devastated Robert had been when he’d been told that Holly had died. Moments later, a furious Robert returned to let Anna know that her arraignment had been pushed back to the following day. Robert promised to get Anna out of jail. Anna was confident Robert would succeed, and together, she and Robert would go after Victor. “Count me in,” Holly said.

At the hospital, Austin greeted Maxie and Georgie. He gave Maxie a quick kiss, while Georgie remained silent and grimaced. Maxie and Austin were eager to take Georgie for ice cream, but Georgie refused to play along. Georgie demonsrated what a complete brat she could be and Maxie demanded that Georgie apologize to Austin for her childish behavior. “Never,” Georgie said. Maxie made it clear that there would be no ice cream until Georgie apologized, prompting Georgie to blame Austin for ruining everything.

In Britt’s office, Britt explained that she knew about Sam’s checkered past, and she told Sam she was curious if Sam had ever been a jewel thief. Sam tensed as she asked if Britt was wearing a wire. Britt assured Sam nothing of the sort was going on but she told Sam she did want to retain her to investigate the necklace. Britt showed Sam pictures of the diamond necklace that she had found in Peter’s safe deposit box. Sam admitted the necklace was worth millions if the diamonds were real. Britt assured Sam the gems had been real enough to cut glass.

At Volonino’s, Cody was working out on the weights when Dante arrived. Dante apologized for being late, and they spoke about the past when Dante and Cody had been kids and Dante had given Cody a bloody nose. The conversation turned serious when Dante admitted he’d had a rough day because he’d been forced to arrest Anna, who he knew was innocent. Dante asked about Cody’s day. Cody only admitted that he had spent some time with Britt. Dante chuckled because Britt had clearly not heeded Dante’s advice to stay away from Cody. Dante explained that he’d been looking out for Cody, but Cody told Dante he didn’t want him getting between him and Britt.

Cody reached into his gym bag when he received a reminder notification about the DNA test. Cody sighed with apprehension. Cody opened up to Dante about Mac and the possibility that Mac might be Cody’s biological father. Dante couldn’t believe that Cody hadn’t mentioned it to him sooner, especially since Dante knew what it was like to find a long-lost father. Dante explained that despite everything, Dante and Sonny had managed to forge a close relationship, and it had been Sonny who had gone to Turkey to rescue Dante from a dire situation. Dante admitted that Sonny was a good man despite Sonny’s “questionable lifestyle.” Later, Sam was waiting when Dante and Cody emerged from the locker room. After Cody left, Sam and Dante exchanged a kiss, and they each admitted they had had a crazy day. Sam decided Dante won the prize when he told her about Anna’s arrest. Dante was certain she had been framed by the Cassadine’s and he acknowledged that he was unable to do anything about it at that moment. Sam smiled when Dante decided to focus on them, and he leaned down to kiss her.

Britt noticed Mac and his family gathered at the elevator, and she realized Cody was there for the DNA test. She told Cody that she hoped he got what he wanted, but Cody confessed he wasn’t sure what that was.

After Ava left, Nina called Valentin, but the call went to voicemail. She admitted she was jealous that he was able to visit with Charlotte, and she was eager to hear all about it. However, Nina wanted Valentin to know that things were “weird” in Port Charles because Lucy was missing — and his father might have been responsible.

Victor explained that the world was in chaos, and the Cassadines were positioned to bring order to that chaos. “And order begins at home,” Victor said. Victor announced his decision to move into Wyndemere to keep an eye on Nikolas. Nikolas objected, and claimed the castle was under extensive renovations, but Victor didn’t care. After Victor walked away, Nikolas spotted Ava. Nikolas realized Ava was upset, so he urged her to leave before she ran into Victor. Ava refused, and she told him about the confession that Victor had taken. Nikolas admitted that he already knew, and he filled Ava in about Victor’s threats. Ava wasn’t intimidated, but Nikolas warned her that Victor might deal with Ava the way Victor had dealt with Lucy.

At the elevator, Victor praised Nikolas, but Nikolas warned Victor that Helena had once believed she could control Nikolas, too — and it had not ended well for her.

At Kelly’s, Dex confronted Josslyn and asked if the current state of things between them was how it was going to be from now on. She asked him if he still worked for Sonny, he replied in the affirmative and she then said that she didn’t see a change in things on the horizon.  Josslyn tried to appeal to Dex to quit Sonny’s organization by bringing up Jason.  She told Dex how loyal Jason and her Mom had been to Sonny and she asked him to look where they all are now.  She told Dex that Jason had been working for Sonny since he was younger than Dex is currently and that Sonny regarded Jason as family.  She reiterated that Sonny had still betrayed Jason and asked Dex how long he thought it would be before Sonny betrayed him.  Dex recalled his secret arrangement with Michael to take down Sonny and told Josslyn that he needed the job with Sonny.  Cameron then walked into Kelly’s and noticed that Josslyn was upset.  He asked what was going on.  Dex said that he had upset Josslyn by bringing up Sonny.  He apologized to Cameron.  When Dex left, Josslyn admitted to Cameron that she had known Dex longer than she previous admitted and that she had saved him from one of Sonny’s “employees.”  Cameron told Josslyn that he had known Josslyn had rescued Dex because Michael had already told him. Cameron wondered why Josslyn hadn’t told him, and she claimed it had been because she didn’t want Cameron involved in any of Sonny’s dealings.  Cameron said that he and Josslyn had been distant for months and that they needed to plan something together soon.  Josslyn agreed and the two embraced.  But, Josslyn still had a look of disappointment on her face.

Earlier, at the hospital, Cameron had been worried about an upcoming trip that Elizabeth planned to take with Terry to Monterey. Cameron noted that Elizabeth’s parents, Jeff and Carolyn lived in Monterey, but Elizabeth thought the chances of seeing her parents were slim.

Cameron confided that things hadn’t been going well with Josslyn. Elizabeth blamed Esme and said she hated what that horrible girl had done to them. Elizabeth vowed to spend time with Cameron and his brothers when she and Terry returned.

Later, Elizabeth appeared in Finn’s office. Elizabeth saw that Finn, Violet, and Gregory looked sad. Violet and Gregory left, and Finn said that he had just told Violet about Reiko’s death. Elizabeth asked if Finn would check on her boys while she was gone. Finn said that he would and then Elizabeth and Terry departed for Monterrey.

Britt and Cody, at an undisclosed bank location, wondered what was inside Peter’s safe deposit box. A man returned with the box, and Britt briefly hesitated before she agreed to search the box. Britt was shocked to discover a heavy diamond necklace inside. Cody said he knew how to tell if the necklace was real, and he used a compact from Britt’s purse to scratch the glass with one of the diamonds. Cody noted that real diamonds scratched glass, and he said the necklace was authentic.

Britt wondered about the necklace’s origins and how Peter had gotten his hands on it. Britt decided to keep the necklace stored away at its current location.

At Nina’s penthouse, Ava and Nina shared martinis, and the two recalled the events of their day. Nina surmised that something was wrong with Ava, and she asked why Ava was avoiding her problems with Nikolas. Ava said she couldn’t decide what to do about Nikolas. Nina assured Ava that she wouldn’t judge Ava, regardless of her decision. Ava admitted that part of her wanted to cut Nikolas out of her life but that she’d reconsidered after Nikolas’ offer to confess to a crime. Nina wanted to know what Nikolas had done. “That’s just it. He didn’t do anything. I did,” Ava said. Ava said that if the secret ever became public, it could be the end for both Nikolas and her. Nina wondered why Ava hadn’t made Nikolas pay. Ava said it was because Nikolas would lay down his life for her. Nina’s phone rang, and she promised to continue her conversation with Ava when she returned. After Nina excused herself, Ava went to her purse to retrieve what she thought was Nikolas’ letter of confession. Instead, Ava was startled when she saw a letter that had been written on the same stationary. “Missing something???”

At the Metro Court, Victor and Nikolas argued over whether Nikolas should divorce Ava. Victor called Nikolas’ feelings for Ava an “obsession.” Victor stated that he wouldn’t allow Nikolas to put the Cassadines at risk because of Ava, and he added that he had gone to great lengths to ensure the Cassadines’ future.

Nikolas said the Cassadine legacy was in his hands, not Victor’s. Victor wanted to know what Nikolas had meant, and Nikolas suggested that the two agree to a mutual exchange of information.

Victor remarked that Nikolas and Valentin were a lot alike because they were each focused on their own desires instead of the greater good. Victor and Nikolas’ argument became heated, and Victor accused Nikolas of loving Ava more than Spencer. Victor said that Nikolas had allowed Ava to destroy Nikolas’ relationship with Spencer. Victor remarked that Nikolas had not once visited Spencer in Pentonville.  Nikolas remained surprisingly cool throughout Victor’s grilling until he learned that Victor had stolen his letter of confession that he had given to Ava.  Nikolas was stunned that Victor had found the confession. “You will do exactly as I say and divorce Ava, or one way or the other, Nikolas, I will take you out,” Victor threatened.  Victor was still unaware that not only is there a letter of confession, but also a video.

In the parking lot at the police station, Anna opened her trunk and found a gun and some clothing. She recalled the drone footage of what looked like her shooting Lucy. Dante interrupted her and asked if Jordan had cut Victor loose.  Anna told him that Jordan had no choice but to release Victor. Dante informed Anna that Holly had been the woman that was found in the Quartermaine boathouse. Anna was blown away and had a list of questions for Dante, few of which he could answer.  Dante explained that Holly was experiencing memory problems and couldn’t really tell them where she had been over the last two years.  Anna hoped that Lucy would be located safely as well.

Carly and Drew continued their romantic walk along the beach in Jacksonville. Drew suggested that they return to Port Charles. Carly admitted that she was reluctant to do so because she’d found Drew in Jacksonville. She explained that she’d originally left the town to escape, and while she’d found a lot of what she’d been looking for in Port Charles, she was afraid that she and Drew would change. Drew replied that his life had been similar, and he’d found a lot of what he’d been looking for in the Navy. He stated that he had still felt a void and had realized that he had been looking for who he was. He maintained that Carly had filled the void, and she agreed that they were solid. She thought that Jacksonville had changed them. As they walked along the beach, Carly declared that because the relationship was something that she was choosing, it was worth pursuing. Carly admitted she was afraid of losing Drew because of mistakes or choices that she might make, but he assured her that that wouldn’t happen. Carly said that she didn’t want to ruin the best thing that had happened to her.  Drew said that he liked their chances and Carly agreed.

Nina met up with Sonny at General Hospital so that they could attend Sasha’s guardianship meeting with Martin. They discussed the lack of any word on Lucy. “You cannot bet against Lucy Coe,” Sonny said. They found Martin and Sasha in a meeting room, and they all sat down around a table. Martin announced that with Brando’s death and no living relatives, the judge had decided that there would be a court-appointed guardian. Sasha was unhappy that a stranger would be making decisions for her, and Sonny and Nina wanted to fight it.

Martin made it clear that a court would not appoint either Sonny or Nina due to their past history. The group was determined that they find someone to take over the guardianship.  They discussed who they could find to step in for Brando as Sasha’s guardian. “You’re looking at her,” Gladys exclaimed as she walked in. She apologized for being late. She reminded Sonny that he had told her to step up, and she wanted to take over for Brando. Sonny told her it would be a big responsibility, and Gladys promised to give it her best shot. Martin agreed to petition the court.

Sonny thought that Gladys would be great, and he proclaimed that they were all in it together. Nina said that she would always think of Sasha as the daughter she’d never known, and she loved her. Martin took a phone call and revealed that there was still no word about Lucy. He admitted to feeling lousy but had taken on the meeting for her. Sasha gave him a hug and told him not to lose hope. Martin departed, and Gladys thanked Sonny for everything before taking Sasha home. Sonny and Nina thought that Sasha would get through it because she had them.

Scott and Felicia were in the Metro Court gardens. He wanted information on Lucy because he needed to tell Serena something. Felicia informed him that she had no updates, and Scott thought about hiring his own divers. He confessed that it felt like Lucy was still alive. Suddenly, they were taken aback when they spotted Holly and Robert sitting at a nearby table. There were hugs all around as Scott and Felicia ran to the table. Holly disclosed that she couldn’t remember anything from the past two years.

Scott and Felicia sat down and got around to revealing the information around Lucy’s disappearance. Holly wondered who would have done such a thing. “Why don’t we ask him?” Scott said as Victor walked in. Victor walked right over to the table and apologized for interrupting. He asked if Robert had had any updates on Lucy. Scott was perturbed as Victor announced his willingness to help out if needed.

Victor headed to his own table, and Holly was filled in with facts about Victor. She couldn’t believe what she was hearing, since he had seemed so nice and was dressed so well. Felicia declared that they believed that Victor had been behind Lucy’s disappearance, but Robert stopped her before she said anything else about Victor.

At the police station, Jordan and D.A. Arden argued about Anna being responsible for shooting Lucy. Arden announced that Victor wanted to sue the department for unlawful arrest, but Jordan pointed out that while he was a suspect, he hadn’t been arrested. Jordan wanted to call Robert, but Arden didn’t think that was a good idea. She thought that Robert would be forced to recuse himself from the case. Jordan maintained that all of the evidence was circumstantial.

Arden snapped that Jordan had given Anna special treatment, while Jordan insisted that the video they had seen of the shooting had been doctored. Arden implied that Jordan wasn’t handling her job properly with regard to Anna. Arden left, and Mac appeared. He revealed that the divers hadn’t found anything. Jordan was sure that Anna had been framed, and Mac agreed but was surprised that Anna had been released. Jordan stated that Lucy had been missing for less than 48 hours, and they had no body. Mac looked at the video again and was certain that it had been doctored. He and Jordan agreed that while Lucy had been the victim, Anna had been the target. “And you know who’s after her, don’t you?” Mac asked. Jordan explained how Lucy had been working for Anna but had gone rogue. They both worried that Victor could get away with murder again if they couldn’t prove that the footage was fake.

Back at the police station parking lot, D.A. Arden arrived with a cop and announced that she had search warrants for Anna’s car as well as her home. She stated that Anna was the prime suspect in Lucy’s disappearance. She added that Jordan wasn’t a judge and jury, and Dante quickly pointed out that neither was Arden. Anna opened the trunk voluntarily.  Arden, Dante, and Anna walked into the police station lobby. Dante revealed to Jordan and Mac that the gun and clothing from Lucy’s shooting had been found in Anna’s car. Mac shouted at Arden, while Jordan made it clear that what they’d seen on the video had clearly been doctored. Dante whispered to Anna that he had to leave as the others argued. He urged her to play by the rules, but he knew that she had been set up. Mac suggested that Anna hire legal representation. Arden told the others that she was only doing her job.

Victor took a phone call at the gardens, learned about the warrants, and told the caller that he would be willing to contribute to Arden’s campaign if she ever decided to run for higher office. At the other table, Robert suggested that he get Holly home to bed, but Holly insisted that she hear more about Victor. Felicia revealed that Luke was gone, and it was believed that Victor had been responsible. Scott deemed it premeditated murder. Holly glared at Victor.

Dante rushed in and announced that Anna had been arrested as Lucy’s shooter. Scott thought that Arden was always jumping to conclusions. Holly stood up and headed for Victor’s table. He stood up to introduce himself, but Holly slapped him. She declared that the slap had been for Luke, and the next one would be for Anna and Lucy. Robert pulled her away.  Victor said he had half a mind to press charges but Dante and Felicia assured Victor that they hadn’t seen anything. “Your day is coming, tick-tock,” Scott said.

Victor received another phone call. He smiled and told the caller that he knew that little “surprise package would pay dividends.” He inquired about the house and confessed to almost feeling sorry for Anna. Victor confessed what a shame it would be if the police found evidence in Anna’s home that would put her away for life.

Anna said she couldn’t believe that Arden had fallen for the whole “doctored drone footage” exactly as Victor had known she would. Jordan wanted the evidence analyzed, but Arden wanted Anna arrested. Mac refused and cited the fact that Anna had been framed. He was dumbfounded that Arden couldn’t see that and he suggested that Arden was on Victor’s payroll. Arden threatened him, and reluctantly, Jordan placed Anna under arrest. She read Anna her rights and asked if Anna understood them.  “I do,” Anna said.

On a beach in Jacksonville, Carly spread Virginia’s ashes into the ocean. She told Drew that she used to play on the beaches there and catch hermit crabs. Drew said he could picture Carly there, playing on the rocks.  He asked if Carly ever tried to take the crabs home. Carly said no, because her mother told her the crabs lived on the beach and it was their home. Carly told Drew that her mother had said that one day she would live there on the beach too. Drew lifted her urn and said, “and now she will.” Carly eulogized Virginia.  She told her that she was a good Mom and apologized for not always making her feel that way and then she spread her ashes into the water. Afterwards, Carly claimed that she’d found closure and perspective. She told Drew that the emergency landing of her plane in Jacksonville seemed to be an inconvenience but she realized that her mother needed her and she was glad things had happened as they did. Drew and Carly kissed.

In the boathouse at the Quartermaine mansion, Robert was stunned to find Holly alive. Robert told Holly that everyone had thought Holly had died, and he asked where she had been for the past two years. Holly said that she thought she’d been on a boat. Robert wanted to have Holly examined at the hospital for a possible concussion, and Dante called for an ambulance.

At the hospital, Robert told Austin that Holly had been experiencing memory issues. Holly reluctantly agreed to let Austin examine her. After the exam, Robert asked Holly what had been the last thing she’d remembered before waking up in the boathouse. Holly recalled that she had been working a case for the WSB in Monte Carlo. Robert shared that he and Ethan had searched Monte Carlo “up and down” for Holly. Holly was surprised that Robert had gone in search of her, but Robert said he would do it again. Robert wanted Holly to stay in the hospital overnight, but Holly refused.

Also at the hospital, Sasha confided her grief over Brando to Maxie, who shared with Sasha the grief she had felt after Nathan’s death. Mason appeared, and he asked if he could speak to Maxie. Mason asked Maxie to convince Austin to return to Pautuck for Thanksgiving. Austin appeared, and he ushered Mason away from Maxie and Sasha. Off to the side, Mason gravely said that Maxie would do well to stay as far away from Austin as possible.

Later, Martin appeared at the hospital and told Sasha that he had an update from the judge on her guardianship.

In the kitchen of the Quartermaine mansion, Chase and Brook Lynn kissed. Brook Lynn steered the discussion toward her desire to have Chase become a singer in order to get revenge on Linc.

Ned appeared, and he and Chase chatted briefly about Holly. Brook Lynn took a call. Alone, Ned asked if Chase was happy. Chase shared that he enjoyed singing but that his true passion was being a cop. Chase vented his frustration that he was no longer on the force. Outside the mansion, Brook Lynn received an email from Dante that he’d promised to send as part of his effort to get Chase reinstated. Brook Lynn promptly deleted the email.

Brook Lynn reappeared in the kitchen, and she told Chase that Linc wanted Chase to do a duet with one of Linc’s rising female stars. An uneasy Chase hugged an ecstatic Brook Lynn.

In the lobby of the police station, Anna, Jordan, and Martin watched a video of Lucy’s shooting. The three were stunned to see that the person that had shot Lucy had the same face as Anna. A furious Martin called Anna a murderer, but Anna swore that she had been set up. Anna firmly believed that Victor had been behind Lucy’s disappearance, and she angrily marched into the interrogation room to confront him.

Victor swore he’d had nothing to do with Lucy’s disappearance, and he acted emotional when he was told that something had happened to Lucy. Anna became unhinged, and she tried to physically attack Victor. A police officer interceded, and he and Jordan escorted Anna out into the lobby. Jordan lectured Anna on the unprofessional appearance of her histrionics. Anna tried to return to the interrogation room, but Jordan refused to allow her.

In a voice message to Robert, Anna said that Victor had tried to frame her for Lucy’s disappearance. Martin returned with Arden, the assistant district attorney. Martin demanded that Anna be arrested for murder, and he showed Arden the video of the person who looked like Anna shooting Lucy. Anna was reeling that Martin could believe she was responsible for Lucy’s shooting. Martin recalled that Anna had tried to blackmail him, and he accused her of using people any way she had to.

After Jordan returned to the lobby, Arden told Jordan to tell Victor that he was free to leave. Arden then escorted Victor back into the lobby. Victor “learned” that Anna had been seen on the surveillance footage. Arden said that Jordan needed to recuse herself from the investigation into Lucy’s shooting due to Jordan’s close ties with Anna.

Jordan refused, but she agreed to follow the evidence and to pursue the matter to the fullest extent of the law if the person in the video turned out to be Anna. Arden apologized to Victor for the police having “wasted” his time. “All that matters is justice for Lucy. As the commissioner said, just follow the evidence,” Victor said direly.

In the parking lot of the PCPD, Anna searched her car for evidence that she had been framed. In the hatchback of her car, Anna was shocked to find a gun, which she picked up with a gloved hand.

At the PCPD, Anna told Portia the truth that Lucy had been working for her on an investigation targeting Victor Cassadine, who was being held for questioning in the interrogation room.  Portia asked Anna if she believed Victor could have had Lucy killed and Anna told her that she believed it was entirely possible.  Anna eventually lost it and rushed into the interrogation room and told Victor that if he didn’t start talking she would make it her personal vendetta to bring him down.

At that point, Victor’s attorney arrived and asked why he was being interrogated without counsel?  Victor said that they were all just “caching up.”

Nina’s nosiness got her into another heated exchange with TJ.  She did her best to get him to admit to the affair that he isn’t actually having with Willow.  Nina asked for an explanation from TJ about his closeness to Willow and how they seem to be together quite a lot when Michael isn’t around. TJ declined to give Nina any details and told her to mind her own business. Nina told TJ that it was her business because Wiley was her grandchild. TJ did not respond to her further goading and when Sonny walked over to see what was wrong, TJ said goodbye to Sonny and shot Nina a dirty look and pointedly did not say goodbye to her.

Michael overheard Ned leaving a voice mail message for Valentine detailing how he was very upset that Valentine never returns his calls.  Michael inquired as to whether Ned’s decision to ally himself with Valentine was working out well.  Ned was obstinate and shot back at Michael, wanting to know if the stock free fall at Aurora Media had been contained.  Michael answered that it had been and the situation quickly escalated into a screaming match.  This upset an already ill Willow to the point of her becoming obviously in distress.  Olivia came to her aid first and asked if she was alright, which then triggered Michael to come to check on her.  Olivia suggested that Willow get some fresh air and then she asked Michael and Ned if they were proud of themselves.  She was obviously furious that their juvenile behavior had upset a pregnant woman in their own household. Willow went for walk and found footprints leading up to one of the Quartermaine guesthouses.  Willow investigated and found a woman she did not recognize, she screamed and her screams were heard by Michael, Olivia and Ned in the kitchen of the main house.  Willow came rushing back into the main house and described what she had seen.  Michael asked her if she thought it was Lucy’s assailant and Willow said she didn’t know.  Ned picked up the phone to call Dante and Olivia was going to phone security but Michael rushed out, intent on confronting the individual before they could get away.  Olivia pursued Michael, screaming for him to wait. Michael and Olivia reached the guesthouse and Olivia implored Michael to wait for the police.  But, Michael told her to get back and he smashed the door of the guesthouse. Michael looked perplexed as he saw the woman inside.  When Olivia, ran up she was horrified, like she had seen a ghost.

A pow-wow with Sonny convinced Curtis that he should, “explore genetic counseling,” if, for no other reason, than in the case that he and Portia decide to have any children together, they would know.  Sonny and Curtis being unaware that Portia and Curtis already have a child who is the picture of health.

Back at the PCPD, drone footage from Pier 55 was made available for everyone to see what happened on the Pier.  When the footage was called up on the screen, no one could believe their eyes.

Meanwhile at General Hospital, Epiphany readied herself for her MCATs and had a heated exchange with Marshall for ever building up her self confidence enough to let her pursue what she regarded as a foolish dream.  Marshall quickly talked her down by stating all the wonderful qualities that Epiphany has and how no one can run GH like she can.  Epiphany seemed satisfied and she gave Marshall a kiss on the cheek as she headed to the testing location.

Trina and Rory headed for a comic book convention after Rory was finally able to break free from work. He was delighted and thrilled; she wasn’t exactly, but she explained to Rory that if he found this form of art interesting that she was willing to go into the experience with an open mind.

Epiphany began the process of the MCAT exam and as she saw the first question come up on the screen, she smiled.

Back at the Quartermaine guest house, Robert arrived with Ned and before he could go inside the guest house a concerned Olivia told him before he went inside he should, “prepare himself.”  Robert went inside and was stunned to find Holly seated in the front of the room.  “Hello, Robert,”  Holly said.  Robert looked on with shock.

Update written by  Shane

On Pier 47, Anna answered her cell phone. It was Robert, who asked if Anna had tracked down Lucy. Anna revealed that Lucy’s assistant had told Anna that Lucy had planned to meet Victor on the pier for a sunset cruise. However, there hadn’t been any sign of Lucy or the boat. After the call, Anna started to leave, but she froze when she heard two shots ring out.  She ran in the direction of Pier 55.  Upon arriving on scene she discovered a shoe she believed could belong to Lucy.  Just as she began examining the show, Victor arrived feigning ignorance of Lucy’s whereabouts.  Anna questioned him and he taunted her with razor-sharp comments designed to provoke Anna.  It became clear to Anna that Victor had discovered that Lucy was working for her and that the entire operation had been compromised.  Dante arrived on scene and questioned Victor.  Victor’s driver confirmed his alibi that he had been nowhere near the scene.  Dante told him he was free to go but instructed him not to leave Port Charles.  As Victor left, he looked Anna directly in the face and said, “I do hope Lucy wasn’t the victim of foul play.”  Anna looked stunned.  Anna quickly pulled Dante aside to tell him that Lucy had been working for her to bring down Victor and that somehow Victor had found out.  Dante was very disturbed by this news.  He did remark that if anyone could survive Victor, it was Lucy.

In Diane’s hospital room, Alexis told Diane how frightening it had been for Alexis to find Diane injured on the garage floor. Diane questioned Alexis about goading the Hook killer in the Invader, but Alexis explained she’d been desperate to drive the attacker out in the open. Alexis conceded that the open letter might have been a bad idea and may have provoked the killer to strike again. Diane reminded Alexis that serial killers never need an excuse to kill. Diane told Alexis how much she appreciated everything she had done on her behalf.  Diane confessed that the attack had put things into perspective. “Am I living my life to the fullest?” Diane asked. It was a rhetorical question, and before Diane could elaborate, Robert appeared in the doorway. Alexis then left to allow Robert and Diane the opportunity to speak in private. Robert apologized if he had chased off Alexis, but Diane assured Robert that she and Alexis had enjoyed a long visit. Diane was curious if Robert had an update about her attacker, but he admitted there was no further news from the PCPD.

Robert asked Diane if she could possibly remember anything else about the night she was attacked. She assured him that she had given it a great deal of thought but all she could remember was that it was definitely a woman wearing bracelets that jangled. Diane admitted that her life had flashed before her eyes. Robert agreed because he had experienced that a few times over the years.

Later, Robert handed Diane a cup of water while she asked about his scars. Robert admitted that he had a scar from his cancer surgery, but he would not show it to Diane unless she bought him dinner. Despite the pain, Diane laughed. She acknowledged that Robert had had plenty of brushes with death, but Diane’s last injury had been in elementary school when she had broken her pinky toe while sliding into third base. Robert was surprised Diane had been a tomboy, but she asked him not to tell anyone because she had a reputation to uphold.  Robert promised to catch the killer and make the streets safe again for Diane, and she looked forward to sparring with Robert in court again. She warned him it would be awhile, but Robert vowed to visit Diane often. Upon leaving, he looked back in the direction of Diane’s room and smiled.

At the Metro Court restaurant, Kristina apologized as she approached Sonny and gave him a kiss on the cheek. She took a seat next to Dante as she explained that she’d been late because she’d been training someone to fill in as manager while she attended an out-of-town management program. Dante wanted to hear all about it, but first he insisted on ordering food because he was starving. Sonny smiled because a family dinner had been long overdue. Kristina glanced around and asked about Dex.  Sonny told Kristina that Dex was there and was on duty. She was pleased because she had never suspected Dex of being the Hook killer. Dante said it had been an error in judgment because it had been early in the investigation, but Dante conceded that new evidence had pointed the police in a different direction. “Told you — both of you,” Kristina said.

Alexis recognized Dex in the Metro Court restaurant and asked him if he had worked for Sonny.  He said, “I am working for Sonny and Mr. Corinthos is having lunch with your daughter.” Alexis was surprised that Kristina was there.

At the table, Dante looked at his phone, got up from the table and said that duty called. After Dante left, Sonny took Kristina’s hand in his and assured her that he was proud of all his children. “Even Michael?” Kristina asked. Sonny assured her that Michael would always be included even though things between them were not good.  Sonny told Kristina that he found it funny that even though Michael was adopted, Michael was by far the child of Sonny’s that he regarded as most like him.  Kristina agreed and held out hope that because of that the two of them would get past their disagreements and come to some sort of understanding.

Moments later, Alexis approached the table. Kristina and Sonny were thrilled to hear that Diane’s recovery was going very well. Sonny excused himself to give Alexis and Kristina a chance to talk. Alexis sat down, but she promised she wouldn’t stay. Kristina explained that she had missed Brando’s funeral because of work commitments and an out of town trip. Alexis reassured Kristina that she respected how important Kristina’s job was to her.

Alexis admitted that she sometimes questioned Kristina’s way of doing things, but Alexis was well aware that Kristina was a responsible young woman and would of course be recognized by her superiors for her great work ethic. “I am so proud of you,” Alexis said.

In the alcove, Sonny told Dex to take a couple of hours off, since Sonny would be having dinner with Kristina, but Dex said he was OK with staying since Sonny would be at the restaurant. Sonny thanked Dex for not holding what had happened to him against Sonny. Sonny acknowledged that “mistakes were made,” and Dex had been treated unfairly; however, Sonny said that Dex had proven himself and he had demonstrated the qualities of loyalty and discretion.  Sonny said those were two qualities he held in high regard.

Sonny revealed that he’d once had someone at his side who had embodied all the important qualities, but “he” was gone. Dex told Sonny that he would never be able to fill Jason’s shoes, but that he was prepared to step into his role. Sonny mentioned a position as a lieutenant in the organization, and Dex promised that he was ready for a new challenge. Sonny asked if Dex could think of anything more important than protecting Sonny’s family. “No, sir,” Dex answered.

At Pentonville, Spencer was working in the library when he was approached by Cyrus who greeted his great-newphew. Spencer was clearly not happy to see Cyrus. but Cyrus glanced at the scraps of paper in Spencer’s hand and explained that the Spencer told Cyrus he didn’t believe in him or his redemption story as he dictated it to Laura, but Cyrus reminded Spencer they were family. “I’m a Cassadine, and family is simply a means to an end for us,” Spencer said. Cyrus was disappointed by this because he said that he held family as the greatest of all bonds. Cyrus mentioned Laura and Martin, but Spencer yelled at Cyrus and told him not to speak his grandmother’s name.  Cyrus explained that he had only intended to convey his regret for having pushed away the two people who had meant the most to him.  Cyrus made it clear that he saw an opportunity in Spencer to make amends, but Spencer wanted nothing to do with Cyrus. Cyrus promised to look out for Spencer, but the prisoner known as “Book” sauntered in to pick up where he had left off with Spencer. Book warned Spencer that the Corinthos men couldn’t protect Spencer 24/7, and Cyrus was an old man.  Furious, Cyrus asked if Book was suggesting that Spencer join with Book. Spencer cut to the chase and asked what Book wanted. Book demanded that Spencer step down as librarian. Spencer wasn’t surprised to learn that Book had been working in the laundry room, but Spencer refused to give in to Book’s demands. Cyrus ordered Book to leave, but Book sucker punched Cyrus in the face. Cyrus quickly turned the tables on Book by slamming Book against the wall with Book’s arm twisted behind Book’s back. “Move on,” Cyrus said in a menacing tone.

Cyrus let Book go. Cyrus accused Book of having a shiv, prompting the guard to conduct a search. The guard recovered a shiv from Book’s pocket and removed him from the library with a promise to lock Book into solitary confinement.

Spencer reminded his pious great-uncle that the Bible warned against bearing false witness, but Cyrus burst out laughing. “Apparently, God is not through with me yet,” Cyrus said. Cyrus said that his actions were just a way of “removing Book from Spencer’s sphere for a short time.”  Spencer decided to gift Cyrus with a new arrival. Cyrus was excited when Spencer gave him William Tyndale’s translation of the New Testament. “A book for a Book,” Spencer said. However, Spencer made it clear that the gift meant he owed Cyrus nothing. Cyrus insisted that he never had.

At Wyndemere, Nikolas was surprised to find Ava on his doorstep. She brushed past him, but he insisted it wasn’t a good time. Ava didn’t care because Nikolas had a lot to answer for. Nikolas offered to meet Ava at the Port Charles Grill later, but Ava refused to leave. Ava confronted him about Victor’s claim that Nikolas intended to file for divorce. Nikolas advised her that this was just his uncle Victor’s way of overstepping the boundaries that Nikolas and Ava had set.  Nikolas recalled his encounter with Victor outside Kelly’s when Victor had threatened to get Nikolas back in line if Nikolas didn’t divorce Ava. But, Nikolas vowed to spend the rest of his life with Ava.  Nikolas started to kiss Ava, but she pulled away before their lips touched. Ava claimed she had stopped by to pick up a few things that she needed to inventory before she closed the gallery. Ava said she needed access to the tower, but Nikolas stopped her. He claimed a pipe had burst, and the damage had been extensive. He promised that her things were boxed up and had not been damaged and that he would get them to her as soon as it was safe to do so.  Ava seemed pleased but doubtful Nikolas was telling her the whole truth at the same time.

In the north wing, Esme remained imprisoned, but she worked furiously on picking the door’s lock. “We won’t give up,” Esme told her baby. She picked up the wire hanger and returned to the lock. Her efforts paid off when she heard a click. “Let’s go see your grandfather,” Esme said. Esme opened the door, but she was horrified to find Nikolas blocking her exit.  Nikolas looked at Esme with a cold stare and said, “Going somewhere?”  He then threw Esme in the bathroom to allow him time to retrieve Ava’s belongings out of the tower.

Ava, seated at the bar at the Metro Court, was met again by Victor.  “Twice in one day,” Victor remarked.  Ava looked at him with a mixture of humor and disgust.  She told Victor she would no longer fall for his attempts to meddle in her marriage.

Meanwhile, somewhere on what looked to be a beach location, a woman in dark clothing managed to drag herself out of the water and walk onto shore. She then immediately collapsed.
